  • This video walks you through the DIY process of how I made this mid century modern inspired danish cord style stool (style because its not true danish cord)! I completed this project over a few weeks while moving between locations and isolating there during the current pandemic climate. This was my first attempt at corded / weaved furniture in preparation for my bench build for the builders challenge Instagram build!
Tools required include only a table saw with a couple basic jigs ( you'll see my fancy taper jig), a drill with a basic set of drill bits, some basic hand tools, as well as some sand paper, glue and cord! I hope you guys like this video, please consider subscribing for more content coming soon!

Looks very nice. What was your nail spacing on the cross weave? 1/2 inch?

Yeah that’s exactly right! 1/2” spacing

Is there a good place to find plans? I’m having a very difficult time.

Nice saw. I picked up the same one a few months ago. I like it. Did you keep the stock blade?

Yes I did, but replaced it a few months later! A lot of blades out there but the stock did well for a while with general cuts!
