Not only was Neighborhood Nip a Legend but he was impersonation for people like myself me who came from nothing and worked his ass off everyday until I achieved goals in life....I listened to Victory Lap throughout the whole summer of 2018 while I was going to truck driving school and that album was the only thing that stood between me and quitting....I never looked at Nipsey as someone who glorified gang banging or someone who glorified street life....To be honest with you, Nipsey could've rapped about selling drugs, sipping lean, poping pills, driving expensive cars, fucking models and wearing expensive clothes like the rest of these rap clowns but he didn't....Nipsey influenced a generation of people to chase their dreams and let nothing stand in the way of you achieving those dreams....What Wack failed to realize is, "selling 1 million records don't make you a Legend but selling 1 million people hope and aspiration is what made Nip a Legend." I wished to one day meet him in person so I can could let him know how his music helped me get through a pretty rough period in my life but I'm sure I'll be able to do that in the internal form....So with that being said, I'm out!!!!

People are too prideful or insecure to ask for help, so they stay in place spinning their wheels and blaming everyone else for not seeing how great they are and just giving them a record deal, acting role, talent contract etc.
You gotta go out and make connections, volunteer to help on your friends' projects, be willing to work on super minor league productions and still give your all to everything. You never know who's going to blow up and remember the work you did or who knows who that can get you that next deal.
And if they aren't volunteering those connections, but you know you put in the work--just ask. All they can do is say no. If they say maybe or say yes but flake, ask again. The people with the money and the infrastructure aren't waiting around to approach you when you feel ready. You gotta just leap and work your way through to them.
