Jimmy was honest and transparent with her about his friend OFF camera. He said he hooked up with her ONCE. Unlike Chelsea, who said she is BEST FRIENDS with her EX… someone she had an entire sexual relationship with. And Chelsea was very messy to bring up the friend he slept with on camera. He obviously was protecting his friend from the internet and Chelsea totally violated that. If she wasn’t comfortable with their relationship then she should have expressed that the moment he told her, instead of pretending they are this perfect couple. Chelsea is a master manipulator. She wants to argue and blame him for any and everything.

I totally agree. I was expecting Jimmy to tell her “what about your ex being your best friend Chelsea?!” but he kept it cool. These 2 need to go far away from each other. Chelsea saying that she has never loved him more than the day they had their biggest fight was wild 😳
I don’t like Jimmy in general. I think he is a bit cowardly in regard to telling people how he really feels. A lot of the problems they’ve had, some of which I think activated Chelsea’s prior insecurities early on, stemmed from this.
HOWEVER, these episodes really shifted a light for me. I think it was so unfair of Chelsea to do this. She’s obviously insecure and she deeply needs a therapist for that. When things are good, she picks fights. Either because she’s making herself anxious or because she wants attention and validation from him, I’m not sure. I think Jimmy was really trying at the point she started that fight and I really wish he would’ve stood his ground and left when he said he was done. I hope they don’t get married.
Going to a friend’s birthday party that you made a prior commitment to for an hour is incredibly reasonable. He asked Chelsea to go and she didn’t want to. There was no right answer he could’ve given her besides staying home with him. We need platonic relationships to be well rounded humans, it’s unhealthy and unreasonable for Chelsea’s expectation to be that he doesn’t ever hang out with any of his friends, male or female.
Honestly, even if Jimmy didn’t invite her out, I wouldn’t blame him lol. He probably needed a massive break from her lol 😂
Chelsea is emotionally draining to watch, I couldn’t imagine being engaged to her.
She has a distorted perception of reality. Her and Jimmy never experience the same event or conversation the same way.

It's terrifying how the minute Chelsea and Jimmy "resolves" a conflict she dangles a bad thing right after then says I Love you again and she always says "we" did this or that when it's something she's spiraled put of control with repetative questions and digging.

It kinda bugs me that so many people write off Sara Ann’s behavior and just want to hold Jeremy accountable. If you know someone is in a relationship and try to insert yourself, you are on the same level as the person that stepped out of the relationship. Because both people made choices knowing it could cause harm to another person. Both are worthy of being called out for lacking ethics and consideration for others.

No one should be forced to break off a friendship and I don’t think Jimmy should. Yes he had a one time thing with her but he has been nothing but honest and the girl friend has been nothing but kind and accepting of Chelsea so like??? Also if she saw Jimmy talk the way she talked to Trevor she would have blown up, she is a projecting hypocrite and you can’t change my mind
Also you guys have it wrong. He didn’t go to the birthday party of the friend he had had sex with in the past. He went to a b-day party for one of his frat brothers. Chelsea imagined that his other two girls friends were there and even made up Jess being there too.

I cant with Chelsea, she gives me whip lash. Jimmy is not my favorite, but he is a saint for putting up with her shenanigans.
Jimmy told her about his friend & she waited until cameras were around to bring up something he had already told her that he didn’t even want discussed in front of cameras. I don’t like that, at all. Meanwhile, Chelsea said one of her best friends is her ex. Jimmy definitely struggles with conflict resolution, but Chelsea has so many issues she shouldn’t be in ANY relationship right now.
I think we commented about that but didnt include it, the bringing up dirt he didnt want to talk about thing. Thats definitely off for me too. And youre right about Chelsea’s ex/friend.

Chelsea probably does have an issue with alcohol but also Jimmy was kind of denying having a physical relationship with his girl friends if he told Chelsea he slept with one of them
@@kerrykostner195Jimmy clearly meant recently hence the “once” comment he made. I do think Chelsea’s drinking is a big reason for these outbursts though, not to say she wouldn’t have had an issue but she communicates in an explosive & irrational way when drinking.
My favorite part is when Chelsea says "Where do you go when you go to work" or "Who are you with at work" when Jimmy literally says multiple times on the show that he works from home. So the only person he would be with when he is at work is her. LOL
Team Jimmy! If she didn't say she had a best friend who was an ex it would be a different story. Then she could have a civil conversation and set a boundary, but it has to work both ways. It's her way or the highway and she hasn't on camera seemed to care about his feelings at all. It's actually unfortunate because it's clearly an anxious attachment style issue and I truly believe it's beyond her control, but it's led her to become manipulative and toxic as a partner and it's unfortunate to watch on TV. Men can be emotionally abused, and this is at the very least heading in that direction. Even her "apology" was placing blame on him. If roles were reversed, I truly believe the country would be calling it out more.
Added: I think if Chelsea didn’t react SO poorly to every thing Jimmy is upfront about, he would be more honest with her about still thinking about Jess. He was upfront that he saw a picture of her and she absolutely spiraled and then he told her about his friend and she weaponized his honesty again.

This particular fight--they never resolved their conflict (at least not on camera) and it is wild that he thinks they did!! I have always wondered why some people marry someone who has no control over their emotional outbursts and see/hears things that are not there, and then they go through horrible divorces, becoming the crazy ex etc. Now we are seeing it happening. He falls for her because she is being all cute and talks almost like a baby and gets all flirty and he falls for that crap. I truly hope they don't get married.
Honestly they both seem like shallow, empty people. Might as well get married, I guess. It's a bad idea but they seem to be committed to making bad choices
It seems like everyone on SM is giving Jessica praise for being classy, a good person, a “girls girl” and it just baffles me. She comes across as fake and calculated.
I think she has perfected how she wants to be perceived by the external world.

I really liked AD's mom's speech re that. Clay has been stuck in it for a long time, hopefully this will move him along. I like that he says what he thinks and feels, though. I have some optimism about him. Unless he's here by mistake, I mean on the wrong show.
But what is it about this worship of career and money, prioritizing work over everything else. It's a very American thing (from a European perspective). It's quite fascinating.
You guys are forgetting that Chelsea said upon meeting Jimmy’s friends she said she is best friends with an ex boyfriend so Chelsea is being a huge hypocrite here screaming at Jimmy for that. She had an entire relationship and befriended him still and he slept with his friend once. Chelsea is super abusive mentally and emotionally. She’s constantly looking for a fight. Chelsea is trying to sabotage his relationship with his friend, by purposely exposing something he said to her in confidence. That was a huge breach of trust. She is an awful human being!

Yes, their relationship makes me anxious, angry, sad, embarrassed... I mentioned this before, I was afflicted with a similar version of insecure attachment that Chelsea has and it's painful to watch her. I almost want to call my ex (who, like Jimmy, played his part in it) and say, Why didn't you film me and show it to me?! It would have helped me realize this sooner. People who don't have it, or have another version of it, don't realize how hard it is to see yourself, you think your pain is coming from the partner and his behavior, because it feels that way, but it's not, you regress to a period in childhood when you were supposed to learn what secure attachment is, but you didn't have those circumstances. And this is the best you could learn to do instead.
Therapy works, it's a lot of work, developmental trauma is no joke, but it works. I hope the best thing she gets out of this public embarrassment and mutual hurt is a wakeup call.
It would be amazing if part of these shows was therapy. They could see counselors, at after the altar they would reflect on what they realize they want to work on, instead of mostly useless questions from the hosts. That way the public could also learn what a healthy enough relationship is and what, what trauma bond is, etc.
I don’t think Chelsea is entirely in the wrong for having big feelings about the previous relationship with someone he remains close friends with. However. The way she handled that fight and kept moving the posts on what she was upset about was incredibly manipulative. Honestly, I don’t think either of them is in a place personally where they are ready for a relationship period, but I know for sure that at this point this relationship is unsalvageable.
Keep in mind that Chelsea remains good friends with an ex-boyfriend. Her insecurities have her imagine so many things that she then accuses Jimmy of. Neither of them should get married.
I think for sure Chealse does not know how to just say exactly what is bothering her and just expects Jimmy to know what it is and fix it. But also Jimmy is never truly honest about what he is feeling until an argument blows up which could explain why she keeps asking what’s wrong. Super wild that Chealse keeps saying they communicate so well though because both of them are sooo bad at it.
I mean she is drunk. I agree with you though but none of us are at peak performance when we're under the influence.

I don't think Chelsea has a right to question Jimmy's friendships when she admitted that she's still friends with her ex who she probably slept with as well. She's deliberately searching for and making up things to be mad about. That's her own insecurities that have nothing to do with Jimmy. Her behavior towards Jimmy is really bordering on emotional abuse at this point.
Also, I think you guys are really misreading this whole Clay and AD "rapport." Clay *talks* a good game, but he's not actively *doing* anything to be a better person for AD. *Actions* speak louder than *words.* The man doesn't even come home at night and I highly doubt that it's because of his work. AD shouldn't have to be doing all this emotional labor in order to "fix him" while he shows no signs of actually wanting to change. The only reason AD is enamored with him is because she's fallen back into her pattern of trying to fix a man.
I know you're mesmerized by Clay being able to express and acknowledge his issues, but it's pointless if he's not actively doing anything to change. Think of it in terms of addiction. Someone acknowledging that they're an alcoholic or drug addict is great, but if they're still getting drunk and doing drugs everyday, and not actively seeking treatment then it's not helping anybody. Acknowledgement of an issue is only the first step, and Clay doesn't seem to want to do anything beyond that. If Clay applied as much time and energy into actively working on his issues as he does with his career and professional life then I don't think people would have a problem with him, but he's not doing that.
I hear you about the Jimmy Chelsea thing. I definitely got problems with Clay as a whole, I think I might also be suffering from Jeramey/Trevor being completely awful making other people look ok syndrome
I really can't stand Jimmy. He's so unclear and vague and doesn't answer the questions he's asked. He sidesteps any kind of clarity and definition. I think Chelsea would be insecure, but not as reactive, with someone who acted like he really cared about her. He's just so bleh and bland.
If I had some drunk screaming at me about some nonsense, I would just leave. He needs to have a serious conversation that he loves her but if she keeps acting like that, she's going to lose him. And stick to it. He just immediately brushes their arguments aside and claims they're the best couple, so good at communicating, so in love. It's absolutely nuts. He's just so phony.
Chelsea's problems are obvious, but I haven't heard a lot of people mention her drinking problem and the fact that she moves goalposts and sabotages every nice moment.
Yeah the drinking is definitely not helping matters. The producers are loving it though I'm sure.

You have a very lovely flow and rapport, and so often Ashley says exactly what I was thinking! But, the real clincher for me to hit “subscribe” and “ring that bell” was Ashley’s recent confession to believing in the Avril Lavigne conspiracy theory. As someone who helped plan/attended a 16th birthday party themed: Avril Lavigne to where we all wore our dad’s ties and listened to her music lol.
But I also currently live approximately 30 mins outside of her hometown and once “Avril” and Chad from Nickleback came in to the Best Buy another town over where I worked and I can attest - she looks Avril-esque, but something was off, I swear! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 also, her replacement is allegedly named Melissa, and my sister and I reference her whenever Avril comes on our Spotify (which as you can imagine is A LOT)

When she says her heart is in her butt, she’s basically saying her heart dropped, all the way down to her butt
I'm so offended by both Chelsea and Laura. They are so incredibly toxic to their partners literally all the time. I'll talk more about Laura for episode 11, but this was the episode where I saw that Chelsea is actually both intentional and diabolical in her actions.
She put a great face on Jimmy's family and friends (despite embarrassing him with the clingy comment- not appropriate and likely a ploy to get his friends on her side). She knows how to work people to get them on her side. That scene that spiraled into a fight started from one text message that if that message even happened would make that fight absurd (her saying "they" from the pods, then the pause before she says Mckenzie makes me unsure if she took a moment to think of a name or if it's editing). The level of control she's trying to hold over him is disgusting. She knows he has female friends, said she's fine with it, and clearly lied. She even noted he wasn't gone for long yet had that meltdown about how he's just out partying. She outed in front of the camera how he slept with one of his friends, something he said privately to be honest yet she manipulatively exposed it to the world, which I think is reason enough for him to end the relationship. Then, when he says he's done she reels it back in calmly almost as if she was never upset, which is what makes me think that this is not just insecurity. This is calculated manipulative emotional abuse. It really broke my heart when he told the camera how she's good at bringing him back in, as it shows how in such a short amount of time, she's gained complete control over him. Adding insult to injury, she takes no accountability for any of it. This isn't just insecurity, trauma, or mental health concerns. She's a monster. She knows what she's doing at least to some degree.
If you do another serious topic video, talking about how they both behave in emotionally abusive ways would be worth considering. You can use this comment as well.

I think that Clay is in it for clout (like the majority of them) but i really like that he reflects on his issues and how his upbringing contributes to those issues. It's very introspective. I think that part is genuine but i dont think he's at a place where he is ready to leave that lifestyle behind. At least not yet.

Jimmy and Chelsea are toxic together. Jeremy is a dog. Laura has the personality of what I would consider a pillow princess. AD just looks desperate( ignoring all the red flags) about what comes out of Clay’s mouth. The way AD talked to Sarah Anne about the DM to Jeremy was none of her business and rude. Johnny and Amy are the couple that will make it.

I really like your guy's humor! Your channel is a fun watch. Chelsea definitely has a slew of issues but I see a lot of people on social media who watch LIB going to Chelsea's page to directly call her crazy. I thought as a culture we had moved a bit beyond that particular shame based tactic of devaluing someone's mental health. There was a whole movement re-evaluating the way that public treated public figures (like Brintney Spears.) It's just very strange to me. Not surprising but very off-putting.

I get that for sure. I hate it when people go hard on these mini reality celebs. Like she is a tough person to like on tv but I really wish people would leave em alone once theyre done
I can't know for sure, but Laura could be getting a bad edit especially with the Jess and Jimmy stuff as we don't know how serious they were about talking about Jimmy and could have been asked to bring him up by the producers just to get more drama for the show. Laura has a strong personality and wouldn't get along well with everyone, but I don't think she's as hypocritical as the show is making her out to be.

I don't know... Laura likes to pretend that she is unfazed by things (usually emotion) it is hard to tell if she ever really liked him. And the pods these people did form various connections. It might have been a good idea (knowing the show is going to make sure they meet some of the pod people) to have had a conversation around what is appropriate in terms of post pod interactions with their "exes".
I don't believe Laura and Jeramey were a great match, but their brief engagement didn’t need to end with such hostility.
Trevor broke up with his girlfriend 2 weeks before the show aired!! She has sooo many receipts, she came out with all of the receipts because he broke up with her! And now he’s threatening using revenge porn against her! She said he is threatening to send photos/videos of her to her family and son! And that she just wants him to come clean that’s all. ANNND he went on another dating show perfect match in Aug last year when they were still together. But didn’t make it past like the first stage 🤦🏻♀️

I don’t think the friend that Jimmy had sex with was out when he got the drink. He said it was fraternity friends and two of their girlfriends. Plus, Chelsea said she’s best friends with her ex. So she shouldn’t care if he had sex with one of his best friends in the past. If she had an issue, she should’ve mentioned it before this conversation on camera. He told her the truth, and she’s thrown it in his face. And she is putting his friends information out there for the world to hear for no reason other than to throw a baby tantrum! I cannot stand Chelsea! And I would hate to be around a person like her!

I mean, I’ve been in pajamas or fully in bed when my fiancé came in and asked if I wanted to go somewhere or hang out with him and his friends (on child free nights). You know what I did? There were plenty of times where I jumped out of bed to go hang out with my fiancé. And the times I chose to stay home I didn’t bitch about after because I was asked and didn’t take the offer.

Wym? Constructive conversation didn't happen between Chelsea and Jimmy. Here are some tips: both people sober, no one yelling, both people being clear and honest about their feelings and desires. No manipulation or gaslighting. A resolution that works for both people, like a compromise.

I think a lot of people are saying shes just here for fame. Her describing herself as a friend of chelsea is incredibly deceptive, and theres her letter from the pods that many consider manipulative. I may have been throwing liar around a bit loosely here. I do standby that she is at least very deceptive. I think more than half of the people on the show right now are in some form, although hers might be less obvious than say Jeramey’s provable lies
