Though things are much better now, it was incredibly upsetting and stressful, especially since I lacked the security of a full-time position. I always really appreciated others who were willing to share their own experiences and offer helpful advice along the way.

I just got Bell’s palsy 6 days ago :( I’m a horn player as well, and I’m very very scared. I’m confident it will come back but I have so many thoughts in my head if I will ever play again. This is a nightmare. I can’t play a single note in my horn.
