This determination is wonderful to achieve the goal of Hector's hair growing to the ground, and he is lucky to have a wife who loves his long hair and is patient with him to grow it, but why don't you try to compete with him by extending your hair as well?
Thank you! My hair is wayyy different than his. My curls are super tight, which creates hair retention. When I iron out my hair it is twice as long, but I can't imagine it growing to floor length. However, I don't cut my hair. I would really want butt length 🤞🏽
Lovely video very nice hairstyle. I've seen more of this pretty hairstyle in girls. That means girls are more likely to wear this hairstyle. But he's very good-looking with that girly hairdo. I'm a boy, too, and I used to wear ponytails.

French braids are great especially once his hair goes beyond floor length as this type of braid will "eliminate" some of his length when it is braided. For example, if he let's his hair grow 6 inches longer than he is tall his braids will hang down by his ankles rather than drag on the floor. This may allow Hector to grow his hair beyond floor length if that is something he might be thinking about if indeed he is thinking about it. Is he? Lol. Anyway, great video. You did a great job on his braids and he seems to like them. Looking forward to a measurement video. I think last time he was at 44.5 inches?
Lol yes he loved them! I loved them too! It was a struggle because his hair kept getting tangled. I can't imagine being able to do this style at a really long length. I noticed as his hair grows the styles become more limited. 🤔
and a bit of advise when sitting. Always move your hair in front before sitting! Lol. It does hurt if you forget if you are sitting on it. If you think this is rough wait until you start stepping on it! That really puts a toll on the neck being yanked back! And it can really damage the ends of his hair, too. Hoping he is breaking in his moccasins for the time he may actually be stepping on his hair if he let's it grow to beyond floor length! Lol.
Good tip! I'll let him know. Yes, he's breaking them in nearly ever day!
Sorry. One more comment. I think it is amazing to see how fast and how long Hector's hair has grown in 7 to 8 years! He started with a shaved head. Do you both ever regret not having him start his long hair journey much earlier? Imagine where it would be now. And imagine one day having those same two braids dancing around his feet, his moccasins, and the floor. That will be quite a milestone!
No regrets. We started this journey with no idea of how beautiful and long his hair was. It was out of pure curiosity.
