    Thank you Randy. You are my go to person for sensible advice on YT. Could you advise whether it’s a good idea to take choline and phosphatidyl choline as I’ve read that these are as important as folate when ttc. Thank you!

    • @InfertilityTV
      @InfertilityTV  6 месяцев назад +1

      Choline plays a role in fetal neural development. The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology recommends that pregnant women consume 450 mg of choline a day. Rather than taking a supplement, it is best to get choline from your diet. Choline can be found in chicken, beef, eggs, milk, soy products, and peanuts. I would like to know what supplements she was taking. I take alot of supplements but I avoid anything marketed as a "fertility" specific supplement.

    Do you have an opinion on L-Carnitine and acetyl-Carnitine? I have heard some talk about those supplements improving sperm and egg quality but I don’t think I’ve heard your take on that yet.

    My wife was adviced to drink L-arginine..this sachet contains so many artificial chemicals, artificial colors.
    And I personally feel, these chemicals totally not worth to drink .

    Hello so I have a question: Why is it safe and recommended to take a prenatal vitamin then? Is that regulated by the FDA?

    • @InfertilityTV
      @InfertilityTV  6 месяцев назад +2

      Like other dietary supplements in the United States, over-the-counter prenatal vitamins are not regulated like drugs and do not require F.D.A. approval before hitting shelves. As a result, their content and quality can vary, and what’s on the label doesn’t always match what’s in the bottle. Prescription prenatals are subject to FDA regulation

    Does anyone know if we can find out WHAT supplement brands she was taking?! These names should be made public. I hope they are :0 I take so many prenatal, collagen, fish oil, folic acid, insitol…. The only security I had was that I rotate brands and never stick to one kind but now I think eating healthy is going to be safer than any supplements- eye opener. Maybe time to stop completely- scary.

      Folic acid is to reduce the risk for birth defects (not to promote fertility) It should be taken

    3 weeks agi i had a D&c to terminate my pregnancy. I was 12 weeks pregnant after 6 ivfs, and we found out the baby have limb body wall complex.
    I'm now back to dhea and coq10 although i know they could harm me. I keep on telling myself, it's only for 3 months. What's annoying is that doctors prescribe this as if there is any science behind them. I only take them because I'm desperate, and it's for a short short only.
    Thank you for all you do.
    Do you offer online consultation? I'm not in the US.

    • @InfertilityTV
      @InfertilityTV  6 месяцев назад +2

      Don't risk it. Even for three months. It won't help and could actually hurt

    • @ssharb760
      @ssharb760 6 месяцев назад +1

      @InfertilityTV why isn't there a study on the harms of dhea and coq10 though. They are sooooo recommended by doctors it's actually annoying. And we paid so much. Do you think it might have caused the syndrome my baby had ?
