Type O Negative were so fantastic it's a shame they're not around anymore but I definitely respect them for disbanding after Peter died cuz he's definitely irreplaceable 😞

I was fortunate and eternally grateful to have seen them live when I was 14. I'm 31 now and my love for them is stronger than ever! There is something special about TON fans. They are just a one of a kind band. The lyrics are poetry, the sound is eternal and otherworldly. This live is honey to the eardrums!
I got choked up listening to this.... performance with Peter Steele. His voice is like magic. Such a hige tragedy he was tajen from us. 🥺🖤💚 R.I.P green man.
I have an autographed copy of 'The Origin of the Feces', the butthole cover, and Peter signed it under the hole and drew a happy face on it. Prized possession.
RIP Pete Steele, a fantastic performer who I was lucky enough to see live with Type O. Big guy (all over 😉) with a stunning, deep voice. Great reaction as ever Ash.
Dang I miss him. He was such an amazing vocalist, insane on that bass and commanded that stage like no one else could. This song is so beautiful, but it makes me cry between the instruments and pain you hear in Petes voice. RIP Green man 💚
OMG, Type O is still my Favorite, i absolutely love Peter Steele and i cried my eyes out when he passed, my daughter is 10 and she was wondering what my favorite bands were and of course i showed her Pete, so that's why we are watching the performance... Best ever... RIP Peter Steele....💚😢💚.. His voice still just melts my soul...
I remember seeing type O negative back on the 90s. Some of the best shows I've ever seen. Glad to see the younger crowd getting into this music. New subscriber as of today. Have a great day
I saw Pete Steele in upstate NY. A place called Saratoga Winners. He was doing a reunion tour with his original band, Carnivore. I got covered in fake blood along with a friend. We both grew up on Carnivor. Went to a college bar afterwards were we knew the bouncer but he wouldn’t let us in. “You’re gonna scare the college kids dude” lol
Love this! Thank you!! Miss Peter and Type O Negative so much. Grabbed some red wine and drank straight out of the bottle while listening to this. Cheers, Peter!
when i found this song live while used of hearing it on video it really does something to me. when i come home everyday its the first song i put on no matter who is here.
Their music really got me through some times, if there was some way that I could let the guys who are still around know how much of a positive impact they'd made it would be awesome.
One of my favorite bands since 1999, everything they did was absolute gold! We definitely lost one of the greats when Peter Steele passed away R.I.P.🙏🤘 Another band I highly recommend checking out that initially got me hooked mainly because of the similarities with Type O Negative and I know you’ll love is The 69 Eyes, they’re a goth rock band from Finland, the lead vocalist, Jyrki 69, sounds like a mix of Peter Steele and David Bowie.
This song takes me to another world and to much better times. I'm probably going to be doing this live later this week. I love performing this song. I wish I could have had the chance to see Peter do it live. Music lost a true treasure when he passed.
I love it. Something about that tells me they Knew it was the performance of their careers. They were having fun and everything came together. No pun. lol
Funny enough this band started out trying to make fun of goth rock, but did the music so well that the lyrical satire went over almost everyone's heads and they became one of the most popular bands in the genre
I was lucky enough to meet the band multiple times and hang out with them peter was a gentle giant nicest guy you could ever meet he does have a dark and twisted sense of humor but don't let that fool you a genuine nice guy
This song speaks to my "SouL" as well. 😂 The way you said that. Then again, almost all their songs speak to my soul. I regularly listen to the entire Bloody Kisses album as I have a hard time listening to just any one song from that album. That album just meshes together so well it feels like it was meant to be listened to in its entirety. Thankfully I was able to see these guys live in Detroit back in the day before he passed away.
Haha, here I chime in... I saw them live twice. Once opening for ozzy, the second it was their tour. Bloody Kisses and October Rust tours. Was an amazing band! Great reaction as always
I love Type O Negative. I miss them. I got into their music between late 1993 and mid 1994 with their album "Bloody Kisses" (1993) and I liked them, also like their dark and quirky sense of humor, autobiographical, romantic at times, and fatalistic lyrics, but it was with their 1996 masterpiece "October Rust" and 1991's "Slow, Deep and Hard" that I became a total fan. At that time I didn't know anything about Gothic Metal except for Paradise Lost. What got me into Type O Negative was reading some interviews where they mentioned Cocteau Twins, The Sisters Of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Black Sabbath, The Beatles and The Cars as influences. A pity that they left very few albums. Saw them live only one time in 2000 for their "World Coming Down" album tour. Peter Steele is missed.
The first time I heard this song a friend of mine had one of the OG Doom games and the music video was on the actual disc as extra bonus content. Its definitely my favorite song of theirs. The best line in the whole song: "The beast in side of me is gonna get ya, get ya YEAH!"
Blood. I'll never forget. I found it in some bargain bin at a music store. And when I popped it into my computer, I found this random movie file and this was the video. That's how I discovered Type O Negative.
During this tour, Peter grew and shaved his facial hair to be in honor for Lemmy (from Motorhead) who played Wacken in 2006, but added the soulpatch and shaved the muttens off cause he started to look like a very large version of Lemmy and didnt want to have fans feel tricked, nor take away from Type O. While Peter was normally clean shaven (or 5'o'clock shadow) majority of the time, he would grow out a goatee, beard or handlebar stache for random occasions
Please do Type O Negative "All Hallows Eve" for Halloween time!!! But Creepy Green Light, World Comming down, Hey Bacchus, Anesthesia, September Sun, Gravitational Constant, Haunted, Too Late: Frozen. There are so many! I hope to see more!!

These aren't the best songs by these bands but they are all fun videos or fun lyrically to react to.
You'd better check earlier live version during after dark tour when he was more sober and thus without voice corrected during postprocessing (audiotuned). This was Pete's ending period from addiction, which is very sad to observe and listen.😢
