Everyone stating that he died of a drug overdose..check again..They actually have come out and said that the cause of his death is still UNKNOWN..meaning they actually didn't find excess heroin in his body just the drugs everywhere in his place...Think about that.
He is right about Cannabis but he is wrong about other drugs like heroin, crack and alcohol. Drug use is a personal choice. Drugs are not chasing people down the street. No one is responsible for an OD expect for the person who decided to abuse drugs
I'm not stupid lots of true life experience unfortunately. I agree no one made me buy drugs. It was always my choice. 5 years clean by the grace of God. My husband lost his battle two years ago I buried him.

They shouldn't sell drugs, but he shouldn't have been using heroin either. Both sides of the coin are wrong.
He was definitely one of the best actors of my age group ... brilliant he was..and alot of gifted actors get into the different roles thwy play and cant snap back to reality as easily as some ..and he may not have had the lead role in 'The talented Mr.Ripley " He was brilliant in that film!! Every part he played so many different roles in different genres but he is done them all with dedication,heart and was believable every time...he could draw you into every character he played !!! Huge loss truly....
Self-destruction is a hard path to change from the outside. He would have found his fix somewhere else. Unfortunately, he needed a long-term solution. His death was a preventable, tragic & miscalculated accident, that he actually foresaw.
Everybody already knew that this guy has been on drugs for years. Most actors and actresses are. Hell, most famous people are period. The sad part is that they only do extensive investigations like this when it's somebody famous. If your average person on the street overdosed they would just say that and be done with it. There would be no arrests, no investigation, no care into finding out where the drugs came from. I don't know about everybody else, but I wouldn't call that equal treatment under the law.
This is obscene. Drugs don't kill people, people kill people. And you can't pass laws that change human behavior. Human nature is human nature. Things that give us pleasure will be repeated (Socrates?). A man who has the money can buy everything that gives him pleasure. Our modern day idiotic society will feel avenged by prosecuting the supplier(s) here? Let's send more people to prison and hope the problem goes away? Get a grip America!!

I think all the hateful commentators should consider, at least to some extent, the idea that PSH, (could he speak from the great beyond) would agree 1oo% that he knew the risks, and that pursuit of anyone involved, whether it was sales, partaking in drugs with him, or *whatever* is pointless, and PSH would most likely be against it.! -just a thought-
