I get a little buzz of excitement when a video comes out. I just love sitting down and watching a nice relaxing fly tying video. You've even inspired me to start tying a few flys myself. Love the content, keep it up👍
Thanks. Thats great Jacob! I do hope that you continue to tie your own. If you are a new beginner I hope you don't mind me recommending this: thefeatherbender.com/learning-flytying-from-a-book-is-about-to-get-easier-than-ever-before/ Good luck!
@@Thefeatherbender thanks its so cool you replied and thanks for the recommendation I'll definitely look into it
I own a Complete Library of Both Domestic and Foreign Fly Tying Publications, and can say Without reservation ..... that Barry’s Book is a
“ MUST - HAVE “ for Any Level of Fly Enthusiast
Cheers ✨🎣💫
Spectacular, Barry. I keep surprising me with you. I just attended a master tying class with just (almost) a CDC hackle. Excellent handling of hackle. I take my hat off to you. Thanks a lot.
Thanks Jorge, so pleased that you are able to learn something from them!
Thanks Barry, fascinating little midge. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure Lee.
Great little midge, Barry. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice pattern, Barry, and expertly done.👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it Ed.
Very nice technique Mr. Clarke. Thanks for sharing!
You are very welcome, thanks David.
Another Great Pattern Mr.Clark !
We were wondering if you took off fishing somewhere and fell in !
Only kidding you. With the Dog Days of summer upon us here Fishing has slowed to only the highest of cool Mountain Streams and Creeks.
Luckily Fall (and my favorite time of year to fish) is just around the corner. I have a whole Fly Caddy of Patterns you taught me thru your videos and some of my own new things I can hardly wait to try.
Hope you had a healthy and happy summer.
No still dry here Randy. Yeah fall is great and the start of the hunting season....
Very nice one! Tanks Barry👍
Glad you enjoyed it Anders.
Wow... what an ingenieus pattern! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
A right fine tie that is there Barry. Quite fine detail in there for my abilities but I’ll definitely give it a go. 🤞
Thank you for another one dude. 😊
Thanks Dude.
Absolutely great technique. Very inspiring - thanks.
You are so welcome!
Another great pattern!
Thank you! 😊
Thanks again Sir. simple and effective. The choice of CDC needs a lot of attention and the quality must be excellent. I have to renew my batch I think. I had a lot of breakage with my first attempts. Ready for the #22. Thanks for sharing again.
Thanks Hugo, I give all my materials attention when I am buying...
very nice fly .Barry
Many thanks Guy.
Wow I loved this lesson and a good one for me to practice on tying smaller flys. Thank you sir
Glad you enjoyed it Jimmy.
Great video - thank you! I have been looking for this pattern for a while. This looks nearly identical to the hatch in my local river, though the coloring is slightly different with a white/green body and a brown/white rib. Can’t wait to try this out! Cheers!
Glad it was helpful!
I like ! Realy nice fly and effective !
Thanks a lot Erick.
Love it thanks for sharing Barry
My pleasure Anthony.
Great fly! I may try the wing technique for tying spent Tricos
Go for it, should work well...
Always find the small less complicated patterns catch me more fish. Imagine this being deadly. Nice tie
Very true!
thanx for the pattern Barry.I tied a dozen of them 18-20 .
Excellent! Please let me know how you get on with them!
This is a cool pattern and suspect it is very effective!
Thanks.
Great pattern 👍 Im going to adapt this to fit tiny BWO’s
Great idea!
Pet the kitty 😺😊
Oh I do...
I think I can hear your cat purring in the back :) Nice tying companion
You are right Quentin, thats my 17 year old Norwegian forest cat, Cornelius.
Wonderful tying - so clever and sparse. I do wonder how so little dressing keeps a hook as big as a #16 afloat, even when well Ginked. But then, I have never had bad advice in any of your vids.
Thank you. I agree, and would normally tie this on smaller sizes, down to a 22 but for cinema-graphic reasons its always better to use a larger hook.
Гениально. 👍
Thank you
I’m 90% sure I can hear Barry’s cat purring in the background.
Correct! Sadly he has now gone after 19 years...
@@Thefeatherbender I'm sorry to hear that! Hopefully he contributed well to your dubbing blends over the years.
👏👏👏
Takker Bjørn!
Великолепно 😊👍🤝🙋♂️
Thank you.
