My brother did a portrait of Mr Henry for the Archibald and they would not let it in. He's allready won the achibold. He was not gloryfiyng violance it was just a Sydney person we grew up hearing about in the news as kids. I'm glad he's well and looking good. Crooks can stop.
Love these podcast coming from the UK I do like to listen to the stories of Graham. First come across him on gangs of oz when I was backpacking then I watched the gypsy tales podcast he done. Well worth a listen.
I'm 60 now and when I was a younger I landed in prison a few times and I met the best and worst of men there. This dude talks of an era when you never gave up your mates OR enemies. My father was a navy man, straight as they come and when I was a kid we would stir up the local cop shop in the middle of the night and they'd chase us and slap us around if they caught us. One night I got chased and put my foot through a public toilet cistern trying to jump through a window from the cops. Anyway got caught and the old man had to come and get me from the cop shop. I'll never forget what he said to me, he praised me for not giving up my mates. As this fella says, not ratting on people, not giving people up was not negotiable and it was ingrained into us from childhood
Much love Graham. It's been ages since we last spoke and I haven't see ya around the traps in a while. I hope the family is all doing well mate. It's great to see you haven't aged a bit in the last 10 years. You're doing something right.
Legends! hoping for 6pts this is great, I love hearing about the old days when crims had morals like this. Just imagine in today's world you could have a green light to take out drug dealers and that could be your full time job as it'd be so profitable, win win id say
Enjoying the podcasts over here in Manchester, UK. If Gary could give a brief rundown of the real-life version of him firing that guy from Strikeforce Tuno for eating cake all the time that's in an Underbelly episode sometime, that'd be appreciated. Has always tickled me.
Is Dave Courtney really all he swears to have once been? In Australia here we feel he's more a networker or "fixer" of sorts. * Luke * (born in Leicester UK 1979) 👍
I'm English but take really enjoy anything Aussie crims related, scene Abbo now on at least 5 or 6 different podcasts and videos, definitely a top bloke and Crim in his time, looking forward to rest of his interviews.
Gary needs to explain why he gave the foster father a copy of his first interview, half an hour before he gave the second interview. Shocking police work Gary.
There's NO WAY he wouldn't have heard of Regan before knocking him out. As a major criminal himself he would have heard of Stewart Regan long before then - even if he had never met him. Makes me wonder if this particular incident happened.
@@jw-vx8im yeah nah sorry. The prof and evidence is there and continues to be clear once again i.e The United States Of America and the current climate change in relation to laws being changed to abortion, this just shows how out of date the state and country are.
Once again Mr Jubelin, magnificent work from yourself, no stone un turned again . Congratulations. j w have to disagree with ya on that, never ever heard Chopper talk about a tattoo story like that, Chopper was Melbourne based & spend the best part of his life in jails
Why are we paying for the hospital bills for the murderers in prison seriously who would miss these vial humans : getting 3 feeds a day turkey at Xmas clean sheet and the bible ?????????????? 😢

Glad he won with another painting and would have been good if the one you are talking about was allowed in.
Too real for their stuffy noses.
Bob Down Under is your real name Sam?
Awesome stuff.
Do you mind me asking, did you he know doing a portrait of Mr Henry for the Archibald would not be considered as a valid winner?
The media always glorify crime figures.

Haven’t listened to them as never heard of it but I will now. Thanks for sharing that champ. Hope all is well in the UK
It’s Australian
@@alandefreice4657 yer I know .I come from the UK
Gangs of Oz was a top show they need to bring it back
Gary is an excellent interviewer, I hope there's more of this coming. Cheers
Parts 3 and 4 still to come, cheers GC.

Abo you should do bus tours around Sydney, past all the old haunts ! I’d pay big bucks for that 😳👌
I'd fly from Perth to go on that

Just tuning in
Good interview , but please let the guest talk without interrupting him! I would have loved to hear more about John Regan !
He is being interviewed, Gary needed to keep in on track.
I totally get that , but it’s those tangents they go on that provide never before heard stories!
There is reason the Regan was limited and brief.....it was just that!
Remember, there is a script and run down order to the podcast!

Could listen to Abo talk for days...
The problem is no police corruption .and drugs are out of control they need to be legalalized
Mmmmm yeah nah.
That would be like having the opinion, changing our(Australian) gun laws to be more like America.
a legalised standard product so the junkies know exactly what's in it. plus adopt the Portugal rehab program

You're guessing.

Remember back in the day the only bloke that may have got over the top of Regan was a copper Gill Mackie ?? Don't reckon Abo could handle Regan !
the tattoo story sounds like one chopper read used to tell. Now we know where he got the story from

The anticipation for next episode is real IV checking everyday!
No disrespect to Abo. Lots of stories, and bagging Ned. A bit of self indulgence “ya know what I mean”. The old crims 50% BS.
Pure gold!!!, He thought he'd knocked out some poor magician....😂
Regan was a child murderer, who was eventually (allegedly) knocked by Stan and.... oh, Abo beat me to it!
Go see Roger before he dies
He needs attention
Love ya Graham what a top bloke you don't meet people that talk straight like he does.👍
Great podcast.Good to hear from the other side.
I wouldn’t listen if your interviews were all Caped Crusaders.
Definitely Abbo had hard bark.
Check out Gypsy Tales Podcast with Abbo it's a good one.
There's good and bad souls in prison that includes the staff.

Ago Agostini murdered my cousin Lionel Costello in Redfern....good to see he came unstuck in the end
More I watch if him, the more evident it is that his stories dont match up to previous interviews. I would take what he says with a grain of salt
Graham is very cagey and proper in tbis interview series. He seems like he is holding his tounge in the presence of a cop.
I don’t know why young kids can download GrandMafia games easily, their mind is still young for that software game??
