Excellent tutorial. Your good work is much appreciated. As desktop pilots we all strive for immersion in MSFS, to stimulate the mind, and excite the imagination. This aircraft from Just Flight offers this ( just as the BAe 146 did). So by using the old school navigation, of VOR radio beacons (VHF Omnidirectional Range) then this certainly makes flying this aircraft very interesting. Of course we can use VOR navigation in many other offerings within MSFS. The choice is vast. The Fokker F28 Fellowship from Just Flight is a wonderful mid size aircraft for some really imaginitive flights within MSFS as per historical routes from the F28 era. I digress apologies !. So yes recapping on VOR is personally my favourite as it keeps the mind focussed, and makes flying more interesting within the simulator. I personally love the old style gauges. Thank you so much for your VOR instructions in this tutorial. I know from past experience, that I will probably have to watch this video a few times to get my head around it all again !. But thats what makes it fun. Thank you again.

Ugh. Was hoping to see a way to use NDBs in this plane and when he said, it’s too difficult, let’s do it without NDBs I tuned out

You'd simply need a second Pilot for this. One to fly, the other to navigate. How shall you look down to tune an NDB just after liftoff?

I was going to ask about NDB/ADF but you've answered it already. Seems to can't receive the signal on the ground, I tried today but it didn't work.

The solution is indeed presented in the video..."try to fly WITHOUT NDB as much as possible". Devs please take note!!!
