- Bésame Mucho is one of the most popular songs to ever come out of Mexico. It tells the story of a final kiss, before parting ways. It was written by Consuelo Velasquez, in 1940, when she was just 15 years old. She later said that when she wrote it, she had yet to be kissed! Consuelo was born in 1916, and was from Jalisco, Mexico. The wonderful innocence of youth. This is such a beautiful song! Everything sounds better in Spanish! I love playing the older songs. My ukulele is a Kala tenor.

@@rencougzip Hi Greg! Thanks for your reply. Ray and I are up trying to finish off the farm house and the barn. I'm working 3 jobs (full time work plus two sideliners) and Ray working full time in the forests then spare moments, farm. I bought a drone but it disconnected from my phone and flew off! It did come back but I am scared it will go rogue again! I need to ring the drone shop and get a lesson. Haven't had much time to play with drones, film or do anything, but once we move up there, well then. Probably a homesteading type of channel. I need to drop 2 of the jobs first. I loved your song and it was incredibly relaxing. I can't sing a note. I do have a beautiful old piano and have a little play here and there. Love your videos, need to catch up on some, our internet has been terrible for 4 months. It seems to be working this week. Until next time! Vee
