Winnie confesses to helping Viktor Sams taking down a factory owner whose dubious practices killed her friends. Anna confesses the big expense a year or two ago that is bankrupting the company was a result of finally cleaning up the C.Blue mess. Those two events could be the same thing. Not that Anna spent money to clean it up because it was the right thing to do, but the money went to VS blackmail.
In selling Collier Mills to the Chuns, will the Chuns now hold responsibility for the C.Blue? Thanks for answering this question.

And yea will def address this question in the next breakdown short answer I would think they would be and that’s what the colliers are trying to hide

Thanks for the shout-out on my previous (partially correct) comments. And, I’m still sticking with my Rufus will die before the end of the series theory. There are FOUR more episodes.
As for my Current Thinking/Theory: I think we should NOT eliminate Imogene. Not that she’s Victor Sams-but, there’s “something” about her that makes me think that she could be a Baddie. She’s the one character who has remained the “Least Suspected” over the weeks on our Suspect Board. So, we see her as part of the Solution, not as a Perp; and have turned a blind eye to her behaviors.
All of our thinking assumes there’s a connection between the fight between the Colliers and Chuns, the Victor Sams mystery, AND Imogene’s mother’s death.
But, what if these are THREE separate, unrelated mysteries?
I’m leaning-in on Imogene being on a personal revenge trip against the Colliers. She steals from them, and resents being the poor girl raised [to use Tennessee Williams line] on the “kindness of strangers.” Her shout-out with Anna about the factory in China, also shows Imogene feels the Colliers are NOT good people. Finally, in a flashback between Anna and Imogene, it’s suggested that Imogene has had a run-in with Leila-who at this point seems to be the most honest, good-intentioned character in the Collier family.
Just as Rufus has proven to be an unreliable narrator, we should wonder if Imogene is someone who’s actions we should trust. Again, it’s just a feeling I have.
Oh, one last thing: am I the only viewer who thinks “Danny” is the Television Show Interviewer that young Imogene watches on a video, and who is the first person to proclaim Rufus as “The World’s Best Detective”-as part of their scam?

Yea it could be that she’s in on this or behind a part of it I do feel like yes now thinking about I gave a bit of a bigger pass than I should

See it makes sense he's a fraud. We talked about how he doesn't come across as a classic worlds greatest detective. There was a scene early on where she hid in the hallway and he didn't see her. I always found that peculiar because a detective notices everything. We had him picked we just didn't know what kind of show we were watching yet. Imogene isn't much of a detective either. She's slept with two suspects within days blinding herself to any possible clues. She's literally steps behind constantly. Almost just there to state the obvious.
Maybe the journalist will end up being the real detective here and solve it.
But this was a much better episode then the last couple of episodes.
Yea rewatching some of the older episodes there’s moments like that where I wrote them off as just what ever but it all starts to make sense as we see in this episode he’s a fraud
Yea someone has to be a detective on this show lol waaay better episode than the last one lots more meat on the bone on this one
@@NerdsAtNite But it does open up for some questions though if he is a fraud. Like how did he find the servers, in his first attempt too? Like this hallway, that wall, and there they were. Am i the only one who finds that a little suspicious?
Ohh good point so Either he’s lucky and some things fall into his lap and he’s kinda smart which is what kinda what happened with the jade necklace or he’s in on it

I don't trust Hilde. She just all of a sudden shows up on the boat. And it was Sunil, who we know is associated with Sams, who told us she was coming. Maybe he was told to tell us that by VS. She's always talking, but on the phone to someone we can't see, to her "Interpol colleagues." Why do we trust that she's legit? Maybe the plan was for her to come in all along after the Danny death. It will be interesting to see what happens when we finally get to shore, if anyone is even alive. Also, the spelling of Viktor had been getting to me. Why a "k" in the middle and not a "c." And Hilde's last name is Eriksen, also with the "ik" in the middle like Viktor.
Yeaaa good points she’s not quite off my list I wanna see what clues they drop on the next episode that would implicate her more and that spelling is interest may be a big clue that points to her

My prediction: Mrs Collier is Imogene's real mom. Mrs Collier got pregnant with her first fiancé but wanted to marry her current husband. To avoid a scandal her friend took Imogene as her own. Mrs Collier felt betrayed by Imogene's adopted mother and grew jealous of how everyone loved her so much so she had her killed. Also she learned that her friend was trying to bring down the Colliers factory due to dangerous practices. That was her last straw. Mrs Collier and her private associates are Viktor Sam's.

Two things I'm wondering if anyone noticed that I think mean something but I don't know what. 1) Young Imogen climbs into a food cart at the Colliers estate listening in on a conversation exactly how someone escaped Kieth's room. 2) Their is something about the color green. I think the color green is a clue but it's not obvious enough.
Also, could Rufus's primer code be used on the name Viktor Sam's to decode the real name? (I can't find the code to try it out)
@@LoganGraceHope yea she did but we know she didn’t go into the bar cart this time around or atleast that’s what we’ve been shown, also green, blue and yellow seem to be prominent colors in this show and I’m sure they are pointing to something
@@NerdsAtNiteTrue. I'm just wondering if Imogene's past idea for sneaking in the bar cart somehow inspired the idea for it to be used as a disguise on the ship. For instance Imogene's mom would probably know the iImogrne did that. If her mom is alive she might suggest that tip. Hmmmm... Imogene's mom still alive and working with Rufus and Kieth who is still alive???

Also there is waiter who brought cutty stark to rufus when he went to meet imogene... I believe he is follower of victor sams...
Oohh that would be interesting if he is next we will have to keep an eye out for that and ohhh I will have to rewatch to see if I notice anything strange about the waiter
I strongly believe there will be other murders-and Rufus is high on my list of possibilities. Especially, now that Rufus is sharing all of his findings with Imogene, who can carry on the investigation(s) if Rufus dies.

Can we call "the priest" by his name of Father Toby and "grandma Chun" by her name: it's Celia Chun. Speaking of Father Toby though, how exactly did he become a kingmaker? Why would a priest have political influence in a secular country? Who cares what he thinks. It has to be because he deals in secrets/blackmails.
