Building Navia was a whole ordeal... but she's worth it!

- From the moment the Fontaine Overture Teaser trailer revealed the upcoming characters, the one who I most looked forward to meeting was Navia. Her fantastic design really spoke to me, and her brief appearance in that trailer hinted that she’d be full of joy. And then her personality in the story quests made her an instant favourite.
But her vision was geo… the forgotten element, also know as yellow physical.
For the last few weeks I’ve been flip-flopping back and forth: I love her so much and wanted her to be great …but at the same time, Fontaine has decimated my primogem stash, so on some level it would have been better if her gameplay had been an easy skip.
The moment the update dropped, I tried her trial …and yeah, there was no way I could skip her. But then that means I have to build her...
Fortunately, I have almost 60 fragile resin. Time to spend it.

UPDATE: I played a little more artefact roulette after levelling a hat that was tiiiiiny bit better and got 2 changes for her build I really wanted: bumped her crit rate to 70%+ and got 10% ER! Lost about 5% crit damage but this is an acceptable loss 🥳
Love that she's so strong even with basic ATK sets! Can't really think of a downside to her really, aside from the whole "sometimes shoots Zhongli's pillar" thing 😂
UGH Zhongli's pillar is so annoying lmao. Navia is quite perfect though🥰

I'm very passionate about the fact that I think all videos should have captions 💜 They aren't hard to add; much of it can be automated if you have a transcript to feed to youtube, and after that it just takes some time to tidy them up (roughly 2 times the length of the video maybe)!
It's really helpful to see that Navia can still be great without her dedicated Artifact set. Sometimes I still get too zoned in on having a perfect 4 piece bonus that it takes away enjoyment from the game. While I won't be wishing for Navia this round, your video made me really excited to wish for her whenever she reruns!
I hear ya we have to member that artifact grinding has diminishing returns for resin spent and I’ve spent around 3k resin in gilded dreams/deep wood domain and don’t have a single elemental mastery sands or elemental mastery helm LOL
Yess very few sets have a bonus so powerful it's worth more than really good artefacts from other/mixed sets, hence why it's always a bonus if a character can utilise especially glad and wanderer sicn emost people tend to end up with at least a few good ones in those sets!
I was infatuated with Navia from the moment she was introduced in the archon quest. I knew I wanted to pull for her under the conditions that she be HP scaling (surely the she’d be the first viable user of the Bell or the Portable Power Saw) and was immensely disappointed to find that she wouldn’t. I told myself that under no circumstances would I spend my hard-earned primos on an ATK-scaler who I had no good weapons for. Fast forward to the trial play-through and all reservations went out the window… Baby girl is home, and I couldn’t be happier. Big thanks to HoYo for giving us such an amazing flagship event weapon.

To me, Navia is the most fun character in the game by a mile. She's plenty good as well, which I didn't expect since she is geo. Good video

I guess it's a good thing I have no primos to wish with otherwise this video would have totally tossed off my helmet. I'm so so glad that Navia is amazing. She deserves it. Love all the advice for when I wish for her like crazy on her rerun banner!

I have planned out my account to the point of being ridiculous…but I pulled Navia and she is so much fun I do not regret the first impulse pull of my account as she is beautiful in every single way

This has been the same for me with wrio's artifacts. He has very poor ones so he feels kinds underwhealming and I have gotten literally nothing good from his artifacts domain...

@@yptrumpet Hahah it's from Saurus's streams - the "helmet" is there to protect you from the urge to pull for a character when you know you shouldn't! Saurus has an emote on twitch which is a little dinosaur cowering, holding a WWII helmet on its head 😁

Farming artifacts is just a grind hell for me 😩 , be content with what u have is the best way to enjoy this game

It's ok, she's fabulous wihtout her axe 💛 Quite a few attack claymore will work fantastic with her, and the serpent spine is really good (if you have it)!

3:30 Having farmed Navia's set for a while it too felt like I'm getting most artifacts from the wrong set - until I looked in my inventory and realized it was about 3:2 in favor of Navia's set in reality. The bias is real.
I wonder if the other set is good. It seems to me it could potentially replace Ocean Hued Clam though maybe preferably for ranged characters since OHC bubble is always near to you while the new set improves damage regardles where you deal it.
I have Navia on Serpent Spine. It does not look all bad on her in my opinion at least the color palette does not clash. Plus she does not show it much in her general gameplay as most of the time she's shooting her umbrella.
Also, I always give priority to getting character level and talents up over getting them an artifact set. My Navia was level 90 at 6/6/6 talents and still with no artifacts before I went to her artifact domain for the first time. Unfortunately talents 7-10 must wait for more Narwhal drops as everything went to Furina so far. But now that she's double crowned, it's Navia time starting next week. Poor Charlotte will have to wait a bit.
I feel like the other set will probably be greta on some future healer, but right now i can't see it being worth much on almost anyone we have :/
Poor charlotte got pushed down the queue for me too 😅 I also actually converted 2 of furina's drops so I coul get navia's skill to 9, so Fruina's seocnd crown will also have to wait for now.
I probably shouldn’t watch this video in case my furina helmet cracks, but oh well 😅 Navia’s design is so gorgeous and I really enjoyed her gameplay in the trial so I’ll probanbly try to get her on a rerun. And then I can rewatch this video to prepare ❤
She's also a trial character in the last stage of the fighty minigame in the current event! I'm gonna be trying that out a bunch of times with different teams, to get a clearer feel for how she'd work in my account... 👀
In your case though, probably worth saving for Furina over her 😅

I wanted a geo charcter as i only have noelle but to my lucky got navia with signature and her artifacts with 50/199.8 set she does 80k without any buff and her talent is at lev7 ❤

New artifact domain is pain. I spent 30 fragile resin, and came away with nothing to show for it.
Ended up strong boxing for 2 piece archaic petra, which somehow turned out well, and then 2 pc gold troupe.
Now the quality of the 2pc2pc is so high, it'll take a miracle for the 4pc to beat it...and it's hard to justify farming this domain with that sus healing set.
Gonna have to wait 2 years for strongboxing it now. 😅
Yeah I just managed to make one final tweak to my navia's build that bumped her crit rate to 70% and gave a her a bit of ER, and now it would REALLY take a miracle to replace these pieces 😂
@saurusness right?? I feel it. Mine is 97/170 with Verdict. Ain't no way I'm getting crit values like that on a 4pc anytime soon.
But at least we still get to have fun shotgun blasting enemies with her in the meantime! Worth it.
@@xanaviii Yeah, and I find her to be very strong as is, even though there's still a bit of room to level a few talents, more power doesn't feel necessary at all!
Navia’s story quest was for me the best I’ve ever played! She’s a truly complete c0 five star and her weapon is gorgeous. I made the best of getting reamed by the weapon banner… that weapon banner… my ritual is to pull my pants down ahead of time because I know I’m about to get f’d…
Oooh that's high praise for her quest! It's the only one I've not done yet, saving it for a day when I can focus on it... Baizhu's one has been my favourite so far by a mile, will be interesting to see how Navia's compares!

I get ur pain about the artifact farming I and probably most of the players currently that have pulled Navia are going through the same pain...But I really wanna see the dmg numbers with her Bis set...I am currently using 2 piece Golden and 2 piece Shimenawa with 80-190 CR and CD respectively with her singnature weapon on her and she is already doing close to 300K with 6,8,6 talent.
Hello fellow co-Navia haver/cursed in farming her BiS set player. So how's the performance of 2pc GT + 2pc ATK? I'm on the verge of giving up that cursed domain and will settle for 2pc for now. I've heard that her BiS is somewhat a let down since you'll need to use E first then Q rotation + rotation with other party members because of it's effect?
@@user-ot2xl3fh2m Navia's optimal rotation starts with an E then Q then u rotate through all the members and then come back to Navia to unload all her stacks anyway so it's fine.... that artifact set 4-piece really is great on Navia especially with her signature weapon I mean 50% Geo dmg bonus on top of 46.6 from the goblet and If u have Zhongli then the 40% shred and 15% more bonus dmg all of that adds up to a lot of dmg. But 2-piece sets are fine as well I mean I just tried doing the current abyss with Navia and it was flawless.🔫🔫🔫🔫

@@user-ot2xl3fh2m yes exactly that's the best team for her right now if u have Furina c2 then u can have her in the place of JohnLee 🤣🤣but otherwise the team u mentioned is the best one and the one I am using. Don't bother c0 Furina with bennet it's just cringe u won't enjoy that team as much. My Navia is 6,8,6 talent for now I'll double crown her tho with 2861 atk , 80-190 CR and CD respectively on 2-piece sets AND my bennet burst is one level away from being crowned.🔥🔥
Fantastic! Thanks for the tip! My Furina's C1 and i have a wild Marechausse set for Navia (including an atk gob with 30+ cdmg, 2.4 cr and 14er. Final stats would be 2k+ atk, 100cr after artifact trigger 250cdmg and 120ish ER) but i really dont want to separate my Neuvi (C1) from Furina. :( And since i got a nice feedback from you i'll stick with the "Hot Rock" comp.
I'm glad you managed to pull her! Unfortunately, I lost my 50/50. I've never done a pulling ritual before. Any advice on a ritual for Raiden?
Same here, still trying to decide whether I should save my remaining primos for someone else, or just go ahead and get her (I have *just* enough to be sure of reaching guarantee)...
Pulling rituals are fun! For Raiden I think I'd bring out Traveler, walk around Inazuma City and buy a dango milk, and then wish on one of the benches there - basically do something inspired by the time you spend with her in her story quest! 😁

With Shenhe I used chongyun and made him *almost* drown in the lake at mt aocang, and she came and rescued him in the nic of time 😎
It's all a bit of silliness but I find wishing rituals make the whole process so much more fun!

The new event claymore would be great! But for me it won't beat the Unforged, so I think I'll give that one to Freminet when it's his turn to be built 😊
Any attack based claymore is going to suit her brilliantly honestly!
Play her with Furina then you can give her the HP-Change Set. Easy 36% Crit Rate and get Artifacts for Furina and all the others in the meantime.
Big downside to that is that she's then completely tied to Furina... if Hoyo ever give us loadouts then that'd be a fantastic idea though!

We haven't applied any colour correction to it - it's just a combination of raw gameplay footage, and clips taken directly from trailers!

Oh yes! I don't currently have spare golden troupe pieces that are good enough, but since I'll probably go back to famring there for now, maybe something will crop up 👀

I got finished with building her today!!! Level 80, crit rate 60% & crit damage 201% with her new dedicated artifact set & talents level 8
