Wow, I wish I would've been there : ) Thank you Fugazi for being a friend to those women who have been hurt and for standing up to a misogynistic society. There is not enough guys like you and definitely not enough good music that embodies your views!
Both Guy and Ian are absolute music legends. I haven't seen much of guy interview-wise but his music with Rites of Spring and Fugazi is incredible, the dude basically invented emo. Ian is so inspirational, such as caring guy that also makes phenomenal music. Thank God for punk rock.

I was gonna say they set the bar so high. But they set it at a normal, human level and it's just that other musicians are too weighed down by their bullshit to measure up.
I'd be surprised if the full gig does not exist as a bootleg recording, I used to know someone who filmed them from time to time and Fugazi were a band he would have liked
@@scoutthedoggie I`m sure the full gig does exist `because around that time there was an outfit called Videocore who would film a lot of london concerts, Also i have seen more footage that wasnt on the SNUB episode

Saw them do this song in Glasgow Nov 89 when they got 20 women on stage to sing it still gives me goosebumps
I totally forgot that they played at The Mayfair in 89.. I missed the gig, due to a girl, but she was worth it😉
Ian, so deeply handsome and forthright in this interview. Handsome in his soul as well. Endless respect ❤
Thanks for watching and commenting

Women still manipulating themselves into thinking they live in a misogynistic society. Delusional.
i like how calmly they completely disagree with eachother on that question. their different opinions dont seem to phase them.
well said
this has forever changed my brain chemistry i fear

The way they answered that question showed their dynamic. Ian wants to preach and Guy wants to physically meld into the music.
This is the most accurate description of their dynamics that I have seen.

Have been listening and in love with them and this song for over 25 years now and never knew that's what this song is about. Ha, brilliant!
Ian, and Fugazi, were way ahead of their time.
Fucking ahead of his time
kudos to Fugazi to bring this to the forefront and address rape and toxic masculinity. a great band.
About three decades before idles act like they invented it too
Ultra SIMP comment. Grow up son.

@@cpcompany3319 You're a fucking moron. Rape and toxicity towards women is a sign of weakness, not the other way around.
