The system senses that your car isn’t straight and it kicks the brakes on to the side that needs it in order to straighten the car out. So if you’re going pretty fast and the car gets sideways even a little bit and you correct it, well the system may correct your correction basically countering you and make the car go nuts and that’s why you see mustangs just snap left or right real hard and go out of control. For this guy tho it seems like he just had an unfortunate moment and couldn’t control it I watched this a couple more time and i don’t think his traction control and ABS played a part but it very well could have

I only ran it at the track a few times for tuning purposes but if I crashed it's not covered by insurance so I always took the tag off but if something happened on the street a deer ran out in front of me! LOL I couldn't take that hit financially. I'd rather have a older car that I wouldn't care as much about scratching or scraping the wall.

He went to prison for insurance fraud. Just buy track insurance. It’s not that expensive.
@@ITRIEDEL yeah you may have been able to get away with that 30 years ago but not today. I had my car insured through collectors car insurance so I knew when I went to the track I was taking a risk part of the reason I sold it.
Doubt it, once insurance saw the crash and how it happened it is very easy to tell what went down. They do have investigators for situations like this that will go onto the crash location and look for the skid marks and other types of evidence. In most cases, if you are at fault and there is no other driver you can't really make a claim either. Yeah, if you hit a deer or something that is a different story. They could never see this video and still won't accept his claim. Most insurance companies also don't insure your modifications so he's going to be out a big chuck of money and no car as well. Well-deserved for a bad driver like this dude.

That crashed car looks great compared to someone getting crippled for life or killed because of a crash while racing on the street. Race on the track, not the street. It's not worth the risk to race on the street...ever. The street is way too unpredictable and uncontrolled. How would you have felt if they had crashed into one of those mobile homes and killed a baby? Or worse, severely scared/maimed that baby for life? You can hear that baby screaming in pain. What if some young punk did that to your baby while racing on the street? It isn't right, is it? The risk of racing on the street is much higher than you thought. Driving on the street is dangerous enough. Why would you INCREASE the risk? You can't go back in time and prevent someone getting killed. You get ONE CHANCE AT LIFE...ONE. Spend it wisely.
Mobile homes ?… really? You mean trailers? Sure it’s street racing but I can put money on it this is @1/2am, in a distant backroad that’s not busy over night , looks like it’s around warehouses , we have a similar spot here, this is equal to a track in a way.

I only ran it at the track a few times for tuning purposes but if I crashed it's not covered by insurance so I always took the tag off but if something happened on the street a deer ran out in front of me! LOL I couldn't take that hit financially. I'd rather have a older car that I wouldn't care as much about scratching or scraping the wall.

A dude did that at a 1320 event. Mustang caught fire on the track He towed it down the street and filed a claim.
Someone in the crowd had uploaded the video to RUclips - no big deal. Insurance company found it years later. He went to prison for insurance fraud.
Just buy track insurance. It’s not that expensive.
@@ITRIEDEL yeah you may have been able to get away with that 30 years ago but not today. I had my car insured through collectors car insurance so I knew when I went to the track I was taking a risk part of the reason I sold it.
Doubt it, once insurance saw the crash and how it happened it is very easy to tell what went down. They do have investigators for situations like this that will go onto the crash location and look for the skid marks and other types of evidence.
In most cases, if you are at fault and there is no other driver you can't really make a claim either. Yeah, if you hit a deer or something that is a different story.
They could never see this video and still won't accept his claim. Most insurance companies also don't insure your modifications so he's going to be out a big chuck of money and no car as well.

1. It wasn't an accident, "Miriam Webster Dictionary: accident: [noun] an unforeseen and unplanned event or circumstance. That was totally foreseeable and could easily be avoid by the simplest application of a few brain cells.
2. Only one thing caused the incident, the stupidity and total lack of respect for others shown by the clowns involved.

Were the owners of those parked vehicles allowed any say in this risk assessment?
