    Cool vid, just wanted to say I ran stage 1 on my 320i for a year and had no issues at all a few months ago I installed stage 2 and it feels like a whole different car very power and so far no issues, I use 95 unleaded.

    People have had stage 2 running on 320is for years especially boot mods tune as it’s very conservative as with any tuned car it comes with maintenance sure you could make more power on a 335 or 340 but theirs a price jump their when you could drop 2k into tune intercooler down pipe charge pipes and have a pretty solid car beating stock 335i

      Yes! I agree; it also depends on your fuel quality. What happened to me was mainly poor maintenance of not addressing that engine knock asap.

    this is somewhat incorrect. You can tune your 320i my 2016 320 was tuned up to stage 2 with just a downpipe and a stock charge pipe anyone can tune a car you just NEED to do the maintenance, don’t be afraid to try something new guys

      That’s facts I own a bmw 320i 2016 and I have full bolt on, and exhaust I’m stage one and the car is performing amazing I had the tune on for awhile, with a stock downpipe and exhaust the car performances alright. It definitely felt like it was holding back on things. I found a oil catch can helps clear up the air way to the Manifold so ur car can run clean hair. When you think about the cars pollution pipe it’s very short, so once I changed my pipe to an oil catch can and added downpipe and exhaust it, my car felt AMAZING everything worked as it should the sounds were amazing and I never felt better about my built. Also I was very nervous tuning this 320 after learning all the things that can go wrong but as I follow Rad. The information kinda became cloudy because I have also heard of people doing stage 2 on a 320 and they have been running completely fine to this day I am not sure if they still have their cars but my mechanic who has seen a few 320s in his shop for the same things he said they were fine with just the proper maintenance and not beaten on to much. Would be okay! Doing the research to watch out for things is very good before tuning which I did before and still learning as I go. I just want people to know don’t be AFRAID TO TUNE THE 320, get the proper tune! If ur in Cali, Arizona, or Nevada plz remember bootmod3 has a tune for ur respect area, rad said this when he failed to purchase his in a video about his 320, I’m not sure but it coulda been the reason his engine blew. They say bootmod3 is one of the safest for ur car. If it wasn’t they wouldn’t have made the tune for the 320 think about it.

      Oh also my run was stage 1 93 octane. Also the 320 doesn’t have reinforced internal parts just like the other models in the line of bmw which are 328s, 335s, 340s. When tuning my car my mechanic who worked at kies said that stage 2 can be risk on the 320 but he seen it and the people said they loved it, it’s just a risk on the engine if it’s already not maintained well or just doesn’t have the proper items, but if u do the right steps it shouldn’t be a problem. I love the 320 platform the sounds and performance. I baby my car here and there when driving but when I’m not this car can performance and race😉

      Totally agree, but for some of us, tuning can make or break our rides. Learning from others can help save tons of $$$. Especially for us that are in the states that only offer ACN flash tune which is poor quality fuel.

    Do you think this advice still applies on the F30 320i B48 motors?

    • @RADBAVARIAN
      @RADBAVARIAN  Год назад

      The n20 is the successor of the b48. If you can tune it, test it with stage 1 and monitor it like a baby. Use the data logs and learn how the motor functions, breathes, and behaves at various RPMS.

    This is pretty bullshit ...320i has been known to handle 350bhp on stock internals just fine ...my friend has had his 320i stage 3+ for 2 years now with almost no maintenance except an oil change and hi hadn't even had to replace a spark plug 👍 tune your 320i to anything you want it will be fine ..as long as you haven't got an already fucked engine 👍👍👍👍👍

    • @RADBAVARIAN

      I would keep it stock and do a bunch of preventative maintenance! It’s a sweet economic car, power is not what it was meant to do. Enjoy it!

    Is the n20 on 320i and 520i is the same?

    • @RADBAVARIAN
      @RADBAVARIAN  2 года назад

      If it ends with a “20,” And it's over the 2016 models, most likely it has the n20 motor.

    Hey i just recently got into an accident in my 320i because of bad weather. My car spun out and hit barrier on the back side. My rear left wheel took the impact and sales to have gotten either caved in or pushed upwards, or the fender is resting on top of the wheel. I have 15 mm spacers on the back two wheels, would this void my insurance claim of the accident? I’m doing fine, i got out unharmed and lucky to be able to live from it. Now I’m just concerned about my car :(

    • @RADBAVARIAN

      Wow! I am so sorry! I’m glad you are well and not hurt! I don’t believe your spacers would cause it to void your warranty, just my opinion.

    Would it be possible to swap the engine on a 320i for a 328i engine and that way be able to tune it with less of a risk? From what I'm aware everything else is about the same on the cars.
