Neil at Time Tunnel used to go to his shop once in a while until he moved north 😞love the shop in Stevenage. Manta Ray a lovely chassis, I sold mine a mistake. Still a nice build to look forward to 🙂

Great car and you get alot for little money. Obviously get the alloy motor mount from Jazrider and the prop shaft as there little money. I also added hinge pins.. Blue springs and a topforce under tray. Enjoy the build.. Is an awesome bit of kit 👌

Hey Mark, I remember when this was first released in the early 90s. I strongly considered buying one, but didn't. I just liked the space-age feel to the body shell and that cute domed cockpit and the 'Devilsome' sticker. Great combos by Tamiya. Interesting that you're not going box art with this one, I'm guessing metallic blue, but whatever you go with I have faith that it will look super cool on completion. Can't wait to see what you come up with for that shell. Great unboxing mate..🙂👍🏻.

Hey nice one mate, that is a good price for such a nice car. You know I was thinking that these were the same chassis as the Terra Scorcher and all those. Didn't realise that it's a TA. I think you are getting a bit of a bad tyre sniffing habit if you are now diving straight into a bag of 4 😂 Have fun with the build and I'm sure you'll do a cracking job. Cheers Pete! Yeah I think the DF01 and TA01 came a few years after the Terra Scorcher and they have a much more classic bathtub chassis design. Apparently the handling is awesome! Sorry mate, it's like drinking, the more you do it the more you need that fix!!! 😅Thanks for the great comment and yes, the weekend was one of my better ones (no car crashes at least!!!).
