How 90s Hip-Hop Culture Defined A Generation | The Breaks | VH1 / vh1
I know this is old news, but them East Coast brothas were mad as hell when the West Coast started taking over. 1990 was the year that I became a hip hop head. Daddy (Ice Cube), Intelligent Hoodlum, LL Cool J, P.E., etcetera all got me started. My favorite year is 1993 though. We had so much diversity back then.
Awww those were the days!..😊
I was born in the 90s so I didn't see to much of it, but the parts I did see was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Versus the 2000s, that when female rap was at it all time high (before there was none left by mid 2000s). Gangsta rap came in and took over. R&b from Tlc, Babyface, Mariah, etc. R&b was at it's finest. The hottest labels were Bad boy, Death Row, No limit, Shady Aftermath, and Colombia. The 90s wasn't just a generation, it was a lifestyle. To the point you say 90s anything, it makes ppl go crazy cause food and housing wasn't expensive. Also, life was good period. 90s kids are finally grown up 😢. We not babies anymore 😳😩😭😢 .
