- I love industrial furniture. I have made this chair from scratch for my self. I still have it in my living room. It is heavy, durable and stable. In my opinion may be great for pubs, clubs, minimalistic or loft interiors.

Personally I feel there's either too much or not enough wood on there. To me it looks slightly odd having the tubular steel seat but a wooden back. I'd have gone all one or the other. Brilliant design though.

That chair may be around long after you are gone so be sure to attach a plate with your name and date. Don't let something like that be attributed to "some anonymous artist." ( Bolt,screw or weld it to the metal so it doesn't get lost if the wood ever gets replaced.)

Very, very cool. Just curious, but if you were going to small batch produce this chair, what do you figure you would need to sell it for?
I think it should cost about 250$.
@@DIYInMyGarage I would triple that, at least. Likely 4x. There's a TON of labor in this chair. At a LOW shop rate of $50/hr plus materials, consumables, mark-up, overhead, there's no way $250 would be profitable. Do the true job-costing and be proud to charge what it's worth. If a customer ever balks, walk them through your numbers. Best, @HoneyOnWales

American Chopper over here sent it to powder coat...had to skip most of the video. Also, it doesn’t look very comfortable.
