2012 Toyota Camry gas door doesn't open(2)

2012 camry gas doesn't open then the cable tab might be broken this is how I fixed it.. the yellow string was my third hand to pull the gas door lever while i was trying to figure what was wrong.. the tie wire was what I have on hand.. hope this helps some1.. thanks for watching.. :)

Thanks! Had the problem where the part in the tank wouldn't release. Somehow, something got bent, so the final latch wouldn't release

Squeeze the white tap an push.. try using some needle nose pliers
