I fell for this CDNIM is Aventus at 1/10th the cost. CDNIM felt quite synthetic and I hated it from the get go. Aventus by comparison feels like a more natural smell. Threw CDNIM away, it was insulting to my Aventus 😃😃

Eh, they’ve make changes here and there over the years. Most famously getting rid of the old fire-hose atomizer and then the old 120ml and 75ml bottles. More recently going to the black bottle for GIT, white for SMW and and silver for Himalaya.

Mine is F000414 and it does have the metal cap! I just purchased mine from fragrancenet and I have been reading a lot of people complain about the longevity of this fragrance, so I was skeptical. Today was the very first time I wore this and I went about it 5 sprays for work at 7:30 Am. 2 on the neck one behind the neck and 1 on each shoulder. I did that many because of all the complaints I’ve read and now I’m just happy their problems didn’t apply to me cause it’s now 3:00 PM and I can definitely smell it. I even feel like I oversprayed as it’s a little bit much😂 Maybe I got a potent batch or works better on my skin or maybe I just can’t go nose blind on this one. It smells great tho!
What happens is people wear Aventus for years every single day that their nose becomes used to the scent. That being said, as they buy new bottles they claim it’s weak when in reality, they have just worn the fragrance too much. Same thing will happen to every fragrance. This is why people claim the dupes such as Armaf are better, it’s because there are differences in the fragrance itself which is why people claim it’s stronger when in reality there are slight differences meaning it is a new scent to their noses. Even one note difference in a fragrance can cause your nose to have a new experience, so to speak, therefore interpreting the dupe as superior when in reality there are slight differences in the two. The solution is to stop wearing the same fragrance every single day and switch it up and wear others so you don’t overwear one particular fragrance. I have a 2021 batch of Aventus and I sprayed 2 sprays on my collar bone in addition to three sprays on my neck at 5:00 pm and I would still get whiffs of it at 2:00 in the morning. You’re just becoming nose blind people, other people can still smell you 😂. My wife could still smell me standing 2-3 ft away 3-4 hours after applying even though I could not smell it that strongly. Walked outside when leaving the house and the wind was blowing and she commented on how good the fragrance was projecting off of me filling the air around me.
U didn't take into consideration that people like me have multiple bottle and after the new take over when creed sold out everything went down hill. It does not smell anything like before 2019 batches. Trust me from alot of testing on my gf and daughter I am not goin nose blind. Also best clone to me is pinnaple vintage emperor extrait it smells exactly like my favorite batch from 2017
Can afforf it. BUT....i refuse to spend amounts on certain things. I tried 4 samples of this....and i get 4 hours at MOST!! Yet al haramain l adventure i get an easy 8 And its 40!!! So i know where my money is worth going
I bought a replacement bottle of aventus a couple months ago and that will be my last one for a while. It was my sig scent for as long as i can remember but i replaced it with hacivat. I love the similar but noticeably difference it has. And a $150-$200 vs $350-$550 for your sig. scent without lacking quality is a lot more tolerable and i have aventus as more of a nostalgia reason now vs the smell
Aramf is an animal it lasts hours an projection is insane even the dry down. The amount of compliments I get an even got off with a few ladies with it on they love it. It’s actually creepy how long it lasts. I must order a new bottle the weekend😁I tried aventis in brown Thomas on my arms not my neck it was gone in about two hours. No way I’m paying €500 for it 😂
Look at Creed symbol on the new bottle without black paint, I think that's the right choice. I always remove the black paint on my bottles(batch 17 and 19) so they look like the original 120ml bottles
I also have never had any issues with performance from Aventus. I have batches from 13,16,17, 18, 20, and 21. They all last 12 hours plus on me. It's everyone buying fake Aventus that gets on here and on groups and talks crap about how it's watered down and not worth it anymore. The real deal is an amazing fragrance no matter start batch number it is.

My 2013 bottle is almost done. It’s smoky, woody, and fruity all in one. Most importantly, it’s extremely long lasting. I can still smell it after 12+ hours. I’m not sure I’ll buy another bottle. New batches suck.
That's an interesting point about the painted lettering. I bought mine a week or so ago from a Creed store (Nov 2022 as of time of writing, and batch code was F000298), and it has the black paint on the lettering.
@@jossymarmolina4766 Certainly not a super good performance, but I kind of expected it buying Creed Aventus. I'd say it projects ok for 2 hours or so, then sticks to skin for another 3-4 hours. Comparing to designers, its performance reminds me of BdC. I just really like the smell, so I'm saving it for special occasions, etc.

Well My aventus I couldn’t smell it after 2 hours and i thought it’s a bad batch, then 4 hours later at work 2 people complimented me on it. so I must of been nose blind

I'm satisfied with mine, maybe i just got a lucky bottle when i bought it last autumn from the duty free at the airport (it cost only around 200 euros) cause contrary to the usual complains about the longevity, it performs surprisingly well. If i use more than 3 sprays around the neck/chest then it already chokes me it's so strong and lasts more than any other perfume i own. I'm not really familiar with batches, my bottle has the transparent "Creed" inscription on it, not the black one.
I recently bought an even newer batch of Aventus. It's now called Club something, I don't remember exactly, and comes in a black boxy bottle. I should say that I'm pretty impressed with the performance, hope they will continue in that direction.

Bought a new bottle and i have the same Batch. Still have to really try it, i just sprayed it the back of my hand a couple of times. The batch of my last bottle was L4220M11. My first impression is kind of mixed, the citrus part is super strong, to the point where i can't really smell the pineapple in the opening. How does it evolve?
I have a 2021 batch and enjoy it very much -after 9hrs I still find myself catching whiffs of it off my skin. I can not compare the Juice to older batches bc I never owned any of the older formulations
Check out the aventus cologne. I’m going on 12 hours literally as we speak smells so strong still. The cologne version is way better than regular aventus. It’s fresher and has the musky smell when it dries down. Smells like cutting a forest when you first put it on. Bout to go drop 500 on a bottle tomorrow it’s that good
I picked up a bottle of Aventus in september 2019 an it is one of my all time favorite fragrances , it had a rich mysterious smell to it but fruity an pineappley at the same time , i still got about 70 percent of the bottle left too 😊

The thing I miss the most is the drydown. It want to say it’s the musk & ambergris mixture that gave it this ocean-animalistic quality that even my 2016 batch didn’t have. I had a sample prior to buying the bottle so the sample had to be 2013 I’m guessing, just because there was so much contrast. Anyway I’ve tried many fragrance and nothing compared to that first sample I had.
I had a similar issue with CDNIM, my first bottle had an amazing drydown that none of the subsequent bottles had so I gave up. I’ve wondered if there was maybe 1 key ingredient either became regulated, is no longer available or became too expensive. Then again maybe I just got old and my skin sucks now.
Vintage batches have smoke and dialed up musk and oakmoss. The woods are not that prominent compared to the modern batches but the drydown of vintage ones is way more comolex.
Agreed, someone handed me a sample in/around 2013. At first smell, I didn't like it. My friend said, "Trust me...". I grew to love it. What I remember is the pineapple the showed up immediately and then the dry down that snuck up 2 hours later and put all other colognes to shame. I'd love to find that particular batch again. 😏
While the original house of Creed was pretentious AF, all current shenanigans are done by Blackrock. Erwin and Oliver were given honorary titles but no longer run the day to day.
This is all you need to know. For the modern aventus gent you’re looking to mid-late 17 through 18. Just a hair into 19 then stop. Some argue the old batches are king or new batches are… they don’t matter. 2018 was the best of modern aventus. 14 was solid, 15 was sweet, 16 was confused, 17 was light 18 was right 19 was mmmm aight. 10-14 20-now no point. You’re gonna get ripped off or be disappointed on new batches. Take it from me. Some asshat from the internet. But ask yourself… do I have any reason to lie to you my son? The answer is no. Now go smell fantastic
I’ve been receiving random Creed Aventus samples for the past two years. Across these samples I really love my oldest sample the most when compared to the newer samples. The pineapple is prominent and I can really smell the black currant and smoke. The other samples smell more like lemon and fade fast but the oldest one has some longevity. Is this a change in formulation across the years or is it simply maceration? We know that fragrances can become better with age if stored properly. Should it I get it and hope that in a few years it lives up to the hype?
So creed is like the apple of fragrance community releasing the same thing year after year with very minute or very small changes and people go nuts over it?
I’ve wondered if Blackrock will attempt to stabilize the formula, tweaking the more volatile ingredients, or the ones that have inconsistent supply issues, and those that might get regulated. Hard to say, Blackrock doesn’t tell me their plans.
I bought a bottle from Perfume World a few days ago and while the DNA is definitely still amazing, the performance/longevity just ain't what it used to be. While olfactory fatigue was always an issue with this fragrance, even when I spray it on my curtains and clean towels, I cannot smell it when I come back home 4-6 hours later. Is it worth buying an older batch? Don't niche fragrances start to breakdown after 5+ years?

Just bought a bottle. It’s strong and smells great. People exaggerate about how weak it is. Most people don’t even own the REAL aventus. Nothing compares to the real authentic aventus. Club nuit (limited edition which I own) and explorer (which I own) dont compare. They smell nice but you can definitely tell the difference. If u can afford it, buy the REAL CREED AVENTUS. Don’t go broke though. You won’t be sorry 💯. Don’t buy full retail!
Exactly my thoughts! I had a 2016 batch but ran out.. then I fell into the clone trap listening to everyone. I have the Alexandria and cdnim pur Parfum version(supposedly the best) yes it last long but smell like a synthetic mess! Idk how they say it's 95% same lol. I just know that you can never clone QUALITY. can't wait for my new aventus to arrive soon!
I just got a F batch with metal cap, the “creed” lettering is clear. I’m guessing 2023 F batches had black lettering, and 2024 F batches have clear lettering? Can anyone confirm? Because I noticed some new metal cap bottles have black or clear lettering. Also I’ve read a few times F batches with lot numbers over 500 are better smelling or stronger than F batches with lot numbers under 500 aren’t as good?
It seems to me Creed has always tried to scrimp and save when it came to its packaging. I will mention that they recently went through a hefty price hike, so be under no illusions that the metal cap upgrade is their way of saying "look we've made improvements" to justify the price increase
Yesterday my girlfriend got me a creed aventus with black metal cap, it's the 2022 version, new batch code. What can I say... this smell stays on me for more than a day, on my clothes for a few days..... now the smell is more intense, louder and brighter. Instead of pineapple smokiness I smell melon :)
It's just nor fair to compare a Creed that has been matured in the bottle for 10 years with the fresh juice. Creed really maturate and become stronger and more smoky with time. After that period what we consider a new batch now will smell differently.
I bought a 2022 bottle, and its the first time ive been extremely disappointed with it. A couple of months before i bought a new bottle of green irish tweed as well and even that one was weak, musky and not cery long lasting. The aventus smelled great for a couple of seconds, then it starts getting weaker really quickly. I have tested on paper, clothes skin etc. And same result. Club de nuit was outperferforming it to the point where it got weird. Now it only lasts a couple of hours, and it turns into musky ambroxian. Everyone says the same thing around me. Back in 2016 and before that, I was projecting like a beast with 2 sprays. Now, I can put on 5 sprays, and it smells just okay for 2 hours. I think you might be blinded by sudden changes happening iver time if you buy it yearly. Like when you dont notice how someone close to you gains weight until they are enormous, because tou see them everyday. I never bought into the batch thing and never saw it as a significant problem to even care about it, but this conpletely changed everything for me. My biggest disappointment was the GIT. Its always been a powerhouse for longer than aventus. And now it was useless..:/
ME TOO! This is my first time buying it but after all the reviews I expected it to be amazing, I bought it from the official store in Paris this summer and after 15 minutes using 3 sprays you have to literally touch the nose with the skin to smell something.

The funny thing is that I took my gf to a store where they sold creed, and 1 spray of womans aventus lasted and projected heavily the whole day. White the male ones had no performance. I tried aventus (again), himalaya, Silver Mountain and original santal. Nothing. All of them disappear right after you spray them...
I got into frags some years back. Aventus was special from day 1. Real frag heads don't admit that. I spent years looking for something better. There is nothing better. Aventus is the single greatest frag on the planet though I MIGHT allow an argument from a random Roja or Tom Ford. Creed is a safe brand with a helluva lot of safe frags, but with Aventus they set the bar so high it hasn't been reached. This is a total buzz kill but it's true. Just embrace it and save yourself the grief...
I just bought Creed aventus as my first expensive cologne and am wondering if one spray is enough & can women smell you (on back of neck) since it's expensive?
U need more than 1 spray ..maybe like 5.. but the trick is to rub a small portion of Vaseline on your desired spots and spray the cologne on top of the Vaseline..the smell would last for hrs without fading
Hey Dallas, If you think about it ...Creed is quite savvy. Please follow ; Since a fragrance is always judged by the "Introduction or launch batch" that's where the argument starts. Everyone will say "It's not as great as the first batch , 2010 " But that's what all Introduction batches do . And not just for Creed but for every popular fragrance. So what they are doing is creating there private "Stock market" for that particular fragrance. If they change the recipe every now and then , they are only driving up prices in the after market like Ebay as well as other fragrance collection sites. So this is a mind F!@k for the collector but also brilliant for the "House strategy" to keep the fragrance relevant, create buzz , so they will sell more of the latest incarnation while driving up the cost of past issues.
Great smell but it doesn't perform well in my opinion. The Tom Forde Ombre Leather & Tobacco Vanille is where it's at if you want it to last all day and even into the next day.

Once my ‘17 4oz bottle is gone, I’m done wit Aventus. After over 100 fragrances purchased afterwards, it’s not even that special anymore. Wit that being said, I wouldn’t sell my 3/4 4oz bottle for $1000
It's not like it matters because it's one of the best sellers of all time and they are extremely famous, well known, and sought after, but it's kinda shady that they wouldn't send you anything after a single bad review. I guess anyone who gets free stuff from Creed must say good things about them, so how can you trust many reviewers in that boat now?
What site has the best prices for Creed Aventus? I love this cologne, but it is so pricey. I love this DNA and I have to have it. I don't care about batches, they all have the same smell and quality with very small differences in scent.
I own 5 bottles of aventus. I also own about 10 different clones of Aventus. No clone out thier comes close to Aventus. The quality of the smell and the smell itself can not be done 100%. You can not own a clone and say it is the same.
I was just about to buy my first Aventus this past week. But reading so many negative things about it’s performance, made me not to. Now with this video you made, I think I will try a 50ml bottle to start with. And then go for a larger one, and perhaps other Creed fragrances. I just cannot believe a house with this level of reputation, compromises quality over money.

20B11N is the batch I have. I was disappointed after the initial spray. I honestly couldn't smell a thing, at least that was the msg my nose was sending my brain. Thought I purchased a fake. I even left a bad review from the place I bought it. They replied to my post and said send it back, we only sell authentic products. I kept it but never sprayed it again until one week ago. Got a full wear 06/08/2023 and it has turned into a monster. I can smell it even before I take the cap off. Not sure what happen but have decided to let all my fragrances sit now.
You right. Sometimes if you feel like you have a weak fragrance, then leave it for some time in some dark cold place i mean with no sun or light and you should be good.. too many people said it like that and were happy after, so i guess it works 🦾😀
Nice video. I bought Aventus, straight from Creed, F000308. The best way I can describe it is, it's the the best possible Aventus Clone created. It just feels constructed to have those old Aventus smells instead of blended. I still wear it, and I still get compliments. I wear it on my wrists. Aventus smells better away from the nose. My 2015 Aventus, I almost got sick of the compliments. Women, men, friends, randoms, EVERYONE. Sometimes would follow me around. I thought I read somewhere some of Creeds ingredients got banned so some changes had to be made. It's worth noting, I'm terrible at describing scents.
Ive stopped using my A42B11Y02 which i have about 40mL left and i don't intend to replace it with a new bottle as the newer batches don't compare and the prices now are outrageous
Nice to see the improvement of the presentation. The plastic cap was such a crap! And also great to hear that the scent itself is still a fantastic one. I´m one of those who did not blame for changing Aventus into a more modern approach and skipt the smokey notes. When I wear Nishane Hacivat the smokey note is always a bit disturbing. I´m excited to smell this one!
Can’t afford it, but I definitely enjoy how everyone lose their mind for it and its batches.

I bought a replacement bottle of aventus a couple months ago and that will be my last one for a while. It was my sig scent for as long as i can remember but i replaced it with hacivat. I love the similar but noticeably difference it has. And a $150-$200 vs $350-$550 for your sig. scent without lacking quality is a lot more tolerable and i have aventus as more of a nostalgia reason now vs the smell

in Europe, Aventus is less expensive than Hacivat.
In Eastern Europe countries Hacivat at extract de parfum version 100 ml costs around 150 euros.
I have an empty bottle of the 1st one I bought. I just use armaf now and keep the creed bottle for display 😂😂

Aramf is an animal it lasts hours an projection is insane even the dry down. The amount of compliments I get an even got off with a few ladies with it on they love it. It’s actually creepy how long it lasts. I must order a new bottle the weekend😁I tried aventis in brown Thomas on my arms not my neck it was gone in about two hours. No way I’m paying €500 for it 😂
Again, a change in packaging or bottle says nothing about the juice (batch) inside a perfume bottle!
Look at Creed symbol on the new bottle without black paint, I think that's the right choice. I always remove the black paint on my bottles(batch 17 and 19) so they look like the original 120ml bottles
Only 2010-2012 originals did not have paint. 2013-2016 had it.
I also have never had any issues with performance from Aventus. I have batches from 13,16,17, 18, 20, and 21. They all last 12 hours plus on me. It's everyone buying fake Aventus that gets on here and on groups and talks crap about how it's watered down and not worth it anymore. The real deal is an amazing fragrance no matter start batch number it is.

My 2013 bottle is almost done. It’s smoky, woody, and fruity all in one. Most importantly, it’s extremely long lasting. I can still smell it after 12+ hours. I’m not sure I’ll buy another bottle. New batches suck.
That's an interesting point about the painted lettering. I bought mine a week or so ago from a Creed store (Nov 2022 as of time of writing, and batch code was F000298), and it has the black paint on the lettering.
Is this new F000xxx batch getting a good performance for you? How many hours do you get on this one
@@jossymarmolina4766 Certainly not a super good performance, but I kind of expected it buying Creed Aventus. I'd say it projects ok for 2 hours or so, then sticks to skin for another 3-4 hours. Comparing to designers, its performance reminds me of BdC. I just really like the smell, so I'm saving it for special occasions, etc.

Well My aventus I couldn’t smell it after 2 hours and i thought it’s a bad batch, then 4 hours later at work 2 people complimented me on it. so I must of been nose blind
I'm satisfied with mine, maybe i just got a lucky bottle when i bought it last autumn from the duty free at the airport (it cost only around 200 euros) cause contrary to the usual complains about the longevity, it performs surprisingly well.
If i use more than 3 sprays around the neck/chest then it already chokes me it's so strong and lasts more than any other perfume i own.
I'm not really familiar with batches, my bottle has the transparent "Creed" inscription on it, not the black one.
I recently bought an even newer batch of Aventus. It's now called Club something, I don't remember exactly, and comes in a black boxy bottle. I should say that I'm pretty impressed with the performance, hope they will continue in that direction.

Still have to really try it, i just sprayed it the back of my hand a couple of times.

My first impression is kind of mixed, the citrus part is super strong, to the point where i can't really smell the pineapple in the opening.

With the F batch you can no longer fine the date it was made. Have you been able to find anything? I’ve checked checkfresh and nothing comes up
I have a 2021 batch and enjoy it very much -after 9hrs I still find myself catching whiffs of it off my skin. I can not compare the Juice to older batches bc I never owned any of the older formulations
i got a 2019 batch that lasts literally no more than 5 hours lmao.
Check out the aventus cologne. I’m going on 12 hours literally as we speak smells so strong still. The cologne version is way better than regular aventus. It’s fresher and has the musky smell when it dries down. Smells like cutting a forest when you first put it on. Bout to go drop 500 on a bottle tomorrow it’s that good
I picked up a bottle of Aventus in september 2019 an it is one of my all time favorite fragrances , it had a rich mysterious smell to it but fruity an pineappley at the same time , i still got about 70 percent of the bottle left too 😊
Usually colognes/perfumes only last 3-5 years so you might wanna start spraying 😂

The thing I miss the most is the drydown. It want to say it’s the musk & ambergris mixture that gave it this ocean-animalistic quality that even my 2016 batch didn’t have. I had a sample prior to buying the bottle so the sample had to be 2013 I’m guessing, just because there was so much contrast. Anyway I’ve tried many fragrance and nothing compared to that first sample I had.
I had a similar issue with CDNIM, my first bottle had an amazing drydown that none of the subsequent bottles had so I gave up. I’ve wondered if there was maybe 1 key ingredient either became regulated, is no longer available or became too expensive. Then again maybe I just got old and my skin sucks now.
Vintage batches have smoke and dialed up musk and oakmoss. The woods are not that prominent compared to the modern batches but the drydown of vintage ones is way more comolex.

Agreed, someone handed me a sample in/around 2013. At first smell, I didn't like it. My friend said, "Trust me...". I grew to love it. What I remember is the pineapple the showed up immediately and then the dry down that snuck up 2 hours later and put all other colognes to shame. I'd love to find that particular batch again. 😏

This is all you need to know. For the modern aventus gent you’re looking to mid-late 17 through 18. Just a hair into 19 then stop. Some argue the old batches are king or new batches are… they don’t matter. 2018 was the best of modern aventus. 14 was solid, 15 was sweet, 16 was confused, 17 was light 18 was right 19 was mmmm aight. 10-14 20-now no point. You’re gonna get ripped off or be disappointed on new batches. Take it from me. Some asshat from the internet. But ask yourself… do I have any reason to lie to you my son? The answer is no. Now go smell fantastic

I’ve been receiving random Creed Aventus samples for the past two years. Across these samples I really love my oldest sample the most when compared to the newer samples. The pineapple is prominent and I can really smell the black currant and smoke. The other samples smell more like lemon and fade fast but the oldest one has some longevity. Is this a change in formulation across the years or is it simply maceration? We know that fragrances can become better with age if stored properly. Should it I get it and hope that in a few years it lives up to the hype?
Are your 2nd and 3rd oldest samples getting any better?
So creed is like the apple of fragrance community releasing the same thing year after year with very minute or very small changes and people go nuts over it?

I’ve wondered if Blackrock will attempt to stabilize the formula, tweaking the more volatile ingredients, or the ones that have inconsistent supply issues, and those that might get regulated. Hard to say, Blackrock doesn’t tell me their plans.

I bought a bottle from Perfume World a few days ago and while the DNA is definitely still amazing, the performance/longevity just ain't what it used to be. While olfactory fatigue was always an issue with this fragrance, even when I spray it on my curtains and clean towels, I cannot smell it when I come back home 4-6 hours later.
Is it worth buying an older batch? Don't niche fragrances start to breakdown after 5+ years?

Just bought a bottle. It’s strong and smells great. People exaggerate about how weak it is. Most people don’t even own the REAL aventus. Nothing compares to the real authentic aventus. Club nuit (limited edition which I own) and explorer (which I own) dont compare. They smell nice but you can definitely tell the difference. If u can afford it, buy the REAL CREED AVENTUS. Don’t go broke though. You won’t be sorry 💯. Don’t buy full retail!
Exactly my thoughts! I had a 2016 batch but ran out.. then I fell into the clone trap listening to everyone. I have the Alexandria and cdnim pur Parfum version(supposedly the best) yes it last long but smell like a synthetic mess! Idk how they say it's 95% same lol. I just know that you can never clone QUALITY. can't wait for my new aventus to arrive soon!

I just got a F batch with metal cap, the “creed” lettering is clear. I’m guessing 2023 F batches had black lettering, and 2024 F batches have clear lettering? Can anyone confirm? Because I noticed some new metal cap bottles have black or clear lettering.
Also I’ve read a few times F batches with lot numbers over 500 are better smelling or stronger than F batches with lot numbers under 500 aren’t as good?

It seems to me Creed has always tried to scrimp and save when it came to its packaging. I will mention that they recently went through a hefty price hike, so be under no illusions that the metal cap upgrade is their way of saying "look we've made improvements" to justify the price increase
I'm not a fan of Creed's ethos by any means, but SMW and Aventus Cologne are joys to wear.

Yesterday my girlfriend got me a creed aventus with black metal cap, it's the 2022 version, new batch code. What can I say... this smell stays on me for more than a day, on my clothes for a few days..... now the smell is more intense, louder and brighter. Instead of pineapple smokiness I smell melon :)
It's just nor fair to compare a Creed that has been matured in the bottle for 10 years with the fresh juice. Creed really maturate and become stronger and more smoky with time. After that period what we consider a new batch now will smell differently.

I bought a 2022 bottle, and its the first time ive been extremely disappointed with it. A couple of months before i bought a new bottle of green irish tweed as well and even that one was weak, musky and not cery long lasting.
The aventus smelled great for a couple of seconds, then it starts getting weaker really quickly.
I have tested on paper, clothes skin etc. And same result.
Club de nuit was outperferforming it to the point where it got weird.
Now it only lasts a couple of hours, and it turns into musky ambroxian. Everyone says the same thing around me.
Back in 2016 and before that, I was projecting like a beast with 2 sprays.
Now, I can put on 5 sprays, and it smells just okay for 2 hours.
I think you might be blinded by sudden changes happening iver time if you buy it yearly. Like when you dont notice how someone close to you gains weight until they are enormous, because tou see them everyday.
I never bought into the batch thing and never saw it as a significant problem to even care about it, but this conpletely changed everything for me.
My biggest disappointment was the GIT. Its always been a powerhouse for longer than aventus. And now it was useless..:/
ME TOO! This is my first time buying it but after all the reviews I expected it to be amazing, I bought it from the official store in Paris this summer and after 15 minutes using 3 sprays you have to literally touch the nose with the skin to smell something.

I got into frags some years back. Aventus was special from day 1. Real frag heads don't admit that. I spent years looking for something better. There is nothing better. Aventus is the single greatest frag on the planet though I MIGHT allow an argument from a random Roja or Tom Ford. Creed is a safe brand with a helluva lot of safe frags, but with Aventus they set the bar so high it hasn't been reached. This is a total buzz kill but it's true. Just embrace it and save yourself the grief...

U need more than 1 spray ..maybe like 5.. but the trick is to rub a small portion of Vaseline on your desired spots and spray the cologne on top of the Vaseline..the smell would last for hrs without fading

Hey Dallas, If you think about it ...Creed is quite savvy. Please follow ; Since a fragrance is always judged by the "Introduction or launch batch" that's where the argument starts. Everyone will say "It's not as great as the first batch , 2010 " But that's what all Introduction batches do . And not just for Creed but for every popular fragrance. So what they are doing is creating there private "Stock market" for that particular fragrance. If they change the recipe every now and then , they are only driving up prices in the after market like Ebay as well as other fragrance collection sites. So this is a mind F!@k for the collector but also brilliant for the "House strategy" to keep the fragrance relevant, create buzz , so they will sell more of the latest incarnation while driving up the cost of past issues.
Great smell but it doesn't perform well in my opinion. The Tom Forde Ombre Leather & Tobacco Vanille is where it's at if you want it to last all day and even into the next day.

It's not like it matters because it's one of the best sellers of all time and they are extremely famous, well known, and sought after, but it's kinda shady that they wouldn't send you anything after a single bad review. I guess anyone who gets free stuff from Creed must say good things about them, so how can you trust many reviewers in that boat now?
What site has the best prices for Creed Aventus? I love this cologne, but it is so pricey. I love this DNA and I have to have it. I don't care about batches, they all have the same smell and quality with very small differences in scent.

I own 5 bottles of aventus. I also own about 10 different clones of Aventus. No clone out thier comes close to Aventus. The quality of the smell and the smell itself can not be done 100%. You can not own a clone and say it is the same.

Now with this video you made, I think I will try a 50ml bottle to start with. And then go for a larger one, and perhaps other Creed fragrances. 20B11N is the batch I have. I was disappointed after the initial spray. I honestly couldn't smell a thing, at least that was the msg my nose was sending my brain. Thought I purchased a fake. I even left a bad review from the place I bought it. They replied to my post and said send it back, we only sell authentic products. I kept it but never sprayed it again until one week ago. Got a full wear 06/08/2023 and it has turned into a monster. I can smell it even before I take the cap off. Not sure what happen but have decided to let all my fragrances sit now.
You right. Sometimes if you feel like you have a weak fragrance, then leave it for some time in some dark cold place i mean with no sun or light and you should be good.. too many people said it like that and were happy after, so i guess it works 🦾😀
Nice video. I bought Aventus, straight from Creed, F000308. The best way I can describe it is, it's the the best possible Aventus Clone created. It just feels constructed to have those old Aventus smells instead of blended. I still wear it, and I still get compliments. I wear it on my wrists. Aventus smells better away from the nose.
My 2015 Aventus, I almost got sick of the compliments. Women, men, friends, randoms, EVERYONE. Sometimes would follow me around. I thought I read somewhere some of Creeds ingredients got banned so some changes had to be made. It's worth noting, I'm terrible at describing scents.
Ive stopped using my A42B11Y02 which i have about 40mL left and i don't intend to replace it with a new bottle as the newer batches don't compare and the prices now are outrageous

And also great to hear that the scent itself is still a fantastic one. I´m one of those who did not blame for changing Aventus into a more modern approach and skipt the smokey notes. When I wear Nishane Hacivat the smokey note is always a bit disturbing.
