I take it our conversation from Twitter the other day must’ve spiked your inspiration and make this video. But yeah I find the system really interesting and I’m glad that Permobil has a little reminder feature to let you know that you’re in cruise control and you need to remain vigilant.
If the chair keeps throwing you out of it you may want to add skill switch like on a water craft that has the cord around your wrist and hooks to an off switch. So the chair won't leave you stranded. 👨🦼🤸♂️
Pretty Cool. This could help reduce RSI on those long straight rides. I often feel like I need foot controls. The NHRA Drag Races on live TV ...AND a peek at the F3 in action??? ...all in the same day ???!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT !!! :-) Quote of the day: ...That car runs like a dog with fleas !
I would think that if you were using latched driving it is something that you would use all of the time. Thus you would always be expecting it and aware. I definitely like the chair that had the speed up and slow down via the joystick, to me go fast and pulling back on the joystick shouldn't mean that you want to stop just slow down. Most of my driving is where latch mode would not be practical but it is an interesting concept.
anyone know where to get replacement batteries for a invacare tdx sp at a descent price? or does anyone have batteries that will work on a invacare tdx sp they want to sale doesnt matter if they are used as long as they charge
In case anyone wants that wide joystick handle or other types. I found them here. www.bodypoint.com/ECommerce/category/power-chair-components/joystick-handles

Cool, I love learning new things about my chair.
Great vlog
Next you should try the ramp mode. It's for going up ramps so both wheel's turn same speed.
