    Everything looks great!
I'm afraid of bees! We live in AZ and always camp on the beautiful desert in the spring. One year it was particularly dry (the desert is so beautiful!!) And the bees were trying to find any moisture possible. So as I was making lunch, they swarmed us. I was trying to stay calm but my little guy was like mom what do I do as one was trying to crawl in his ear! I'm like, NOPE! SO we took off in the truck, and they were coming in the truck! We said a prayer a few miles down the rd and asked for advice from my mom, who wasn't with us camping. She suggested putting a can of soda in a bowl a bit away from our camp. They stayed away from us sipping on that soda! The most powerful part was that a dust devil came through and blew away all those bees. Prayer is powerful. But I'm forever traumatized by bees.

I have always been terrified since I was a little girl. I have no idea why, but I've only ever been stung once right out of high school. Turns out I am allergic.

Hi Cheyenne, great update! Parsley is a two-year plant. The first year you can harvest as you need it. I usually take 2-3 stems at a time. It will keep growing all year. The second year you can still use it, but some say it is less flavorful. I find that as long as it is green and fresh, it is fine to use. That said, however, it will bloom and go to seed. I've also read that parsley root is edible, but I haven't tried it.

Cheyenne, does your parents farm? You got into Josies family and their life.. just wondered how your side lives. It just seems like you've been really growing in the family farm and learning alot. Your parents should be proud. All that good cooking y'all do. You and Josie brought each other out of your shy shells. I love watching both of you!! Love y'all. Tell Josie.

A lot of people I watch plant Cherokee purple. Every time I plant them I am so disappointed. I don’t know if they maybe grow better in very hot locations in the south. Everyone that eats them says don’t bother planting those again. I was wondering do you use them for just table tomatoes in the summer or do you usually can them? I recognize we all probably get used to certain varieties and the taste of them. Perhaps when they grow in the south they are sweeter and bigger tomatoes. In the north, I find them to be small, acidic, and mushy. I didn’t plant any this year. Good luck with your garden this year! Blessings to you and your family!❤
