Hamptworth has had some changes and it's looking really good. Greens and surrounds are ace and they've done a load of bunker and drainage work already. Clubhouse is really nice also. Highly recommend
@@RealgolfWD It's impressive. The guy in the pro shop said they cleared all their original drains and also installed some new ones and we were really surprised how good it was underfoot last week. It had rained that morning. Especially round the greens was very good but yeah a noticsble improvemenf already. But that's always been all those clubs problems isn't it, paultons and Romsey just the same but it seemed hamptworth had improved.

Wickham Park is great. Apparently not good in the winter / rain but me and my mates like it, and it's ten minutes away and always cheap. I shot my first ever game in the 80's there a couple on months ago. Boundary lake is not cheap but is nice and j think more challenging. Played East Horton parklands again today. Again cheap and the greens are flat so get in on the dance floor and you've got a chance for a good score. I shot 79 there today!!!!! Best score ever. Well happy.
@@geewilliams2178 well done mate... Scoring in the 70s is always an amazing achievement. I've only done it a handful of times. Feels great tho. Not play East Horton, another course for me to play. I see it on teeofftimes a fair bit so I must get over there
