Not going to lie the first tee shots had me a little worried! Good on Lawrence as I’m sure it’s a little nerve racking on camera. Another lovely course as usual! Greenskeeper was in a foul mood with that pin on 3! Looking forward to a 6 parter again 👍🏻
Great to see someone else play my home course on camera. Looks like you caught it on a very nice and calm day too 👍 The third is always deceiving as that green is tough no matter where the pin is. Local knowledge would have you land short of the green in this sort of weather and have it roll onto the green but in the winter I've been all the way up to a 4 iron into the fan, such is how much the wind can play a role on the course.
Freshwater Bay in the early morning when its warm and sunny doesn't happen often but you were so lucky to experience it. Video quality and views spectacular
Great looking course, bit of a tester in calm conditions imaging if it was blowing a hoolie?, there's a firm on the Island that hires out those old VW campers, they come in all different colours, the one we had was bright, shocking pink and was called Penelope, I had a standing ovation for a hill start in the centre of Shanklin (20 mins stuck at lights revving the tits off it trying to figure out the handbrake)
I like that fact unlike other RUclipsrs you do not keep on likes and subscribing. However with the superb content you put out . You should ask more often . Was not keen on the hour long blogs . Thanks for your work .
Kudos to Lawrence for playing in front of cameras. It’s harder than you think, at least for the first few holes. Jordan is playing quite well on this trip. His lessons are paying off. Cheers.
Great watch Dan, content you guys do is brilliant 👏🏻 Played a couple of rounds there with my society last year in the same weather ! I think a great short game was key to play it well. Sandown was a better manicured course but Freshwater a tougher test in my opinion.
Well done Lawrence, good to put a face to a name, couldn't of been easy in front of the cameras, but nothing to worry about with those guys, always very supportive.
Absolutely loved this Dan. Played here in 2010, fantastic views, interesting finish too. The weather then was similar. Played Churston last Wednesday, was great to return there after 8 years. The 17th still got the better of me! Great hole.
Dan- when you use 5 wood off the tee how high do you tee it and where do you position ball in stance? Forward and high (for all woods?) or for 3,5,7 do you position further back sane as an iron tee shot?
Following these videos I looked into accommodation for the future but nothing seems to be recommended anywhere and the places score very low . Any thoughts anyone ? Looks like a another beautiful day on the Isle of Wright. A day for sailing potentially requires wind!
Sorry not sure if this was the video you asked for comments on your chipping Dan. As a cricket coach this tip goes cross sports. Keep you head much Stiller and watch bat onto ball as you appear to be following the shot far too early. Just a comment but I am not a professional
Wow. Another great venue, Dan. 👍🏻
Geez Dan, those greens are about the size of postcards but very funky. Great to see a viewer playing with you.
great views tricky greens good looking course
Unbelievable views. Green very tough. Well done to Lawrence for going on camera.
Oh my god…what views on the 2nd! Great to see your new guest, well done sir!
Beautiful course. Certainly a place for a jolly boys outing 👍
Great game boys
wow was a backdrop on every hole and not an easy course at all!! great vid as always
Great views and perfect length of vid!

Looks amazing that view wow

Beautiful spot. My sister in law lives at Freshwater and her late husband was a lifeboat crewman there.

It make us all feel human , when you see your first tee shot .
Wow what an Amazing Course I think you Boys have your Hands Full with this Beauty. Love the Course Vlogs Big Fan of DHG Hit that Like Button

My home track, 5 mins from my house. Love it there.
Yay for the 6-parters being back :)
Very beautiful course great views nice start!
top track boys, looks like a toughen with the slopes.
What a setting 👍

Only cost him a round 🤣🤣🤣
What a beautiful calm morning to play golf even I could try and get up early to play that😂
`We make nice videos together` could be taken really wrong haha. Lovely course, definitely going to arrange a trip to the island for some golf
Stunning course. I do prefer the matches to the scrambles.
I could watch golf being played on that island all day if I ever make it to the UK I'm going to play there 👍👏👊🇦🇺
Absolutely stunning views. Thanks guys.
Spectacular scenery and beautiful weather. On such a tough course, you need distractions like that.

Agree, it takes a fair amount of Guts, fair play to him. However he is not a 4.
What a place to start the day with a round of golf. Welcome Lawrence; I hope you enjoyed the whole experience.
Looks like a nice testing type course. Brilliant views, I reckon you are fortunate that the wind isn't blowing hard. The last green, unreal.

Stunning backdrops to your shots, beautiful!
Love l’y scenery and the golf is warming up, well done
What a treat to watch this vlog! Always like seeing all the courses you guys are soooo lucky!! What a country!
Nice to have a new face on the channel…..I see a theme of getting random fan boys and girls joint the crew on future vlogs
Good little vlog there. Well done to Lawrence can't be easy first time on camera. It was nice to see you all tee off like me on a par 3 🤣
Evening all

What absolutely incredible scenery. Nice looking course as well.
Beautiful course - well done Lawrence, first tees are always nerve racking - can’t imagine being filmed as well 😬
very nice golf course , and so cheap fees. a dream
Quite enjoying the raw chicken legs of the boys😅 We all can't have the hard ankle tan year round that denotes the dedication to the game.
The new dream team?

I tee it quite low, I could almost hit it off the ground. Ball position about 2/3 inches off the front foot 👍

That's what I thought lol, that boat had half a sail up and was motoring, still, that's why Dan is a golfer not a yachtsman :)
Hi Paul, have you checked out the link in the description of the video?
@@DanHendriksenGolf thanks Dan
hope the shorter format is back permanently?
