great welder! I have the same unit and bought it on sale. $250 in 2023 on sale in Ontario. Can't beat this unit, it's a keeper for light projects. I'm CWB cert. and honestly this is a really good buy. Tons of videos on this welder, USA version is the Titanium 125, just in green.
Planning to get this and send to The philippines, unfortunately we have 220V can you recommend inverter which i should get and what gauge/rate extension cord i can use Thank you
It went ok. I'll have to practice a bit more to get the bead right. I just needed to tack some nuts onto pieces of threaded rod to make hex bolts so it did the job for now.
I legit just bought one of these today. I'm a woodworker but I think welding could take my ability to create to a next level. I'm not going to lie welding kind of scares me.
I just bought this welder from Canadian Tire. I wanted to see how to install the spool of flux and how to feed the line through the machine but you skipped over it. I was also hoping you would explain the buttons on the front of the machine and how to remove and install the contact tip.
I tried inverter arc welder should have returned it was junk. Or It was faulty. But got this one now! How is the ground cable to clamp? I have a heavy duty one worth swapping?
Few tips. You're moving way too much, you should rest your hand down so you can keep steady and keep the stinger a uniform distance from your steel. Also let the bead catch up a little while you're welding, you'll have better penetration.
how many amps is your garage circuit breaker? i just bought 1 today its on sale when i run test the circuit breaker it keeps tripping. it doesn’t work on a 15 amps breaker
Cool. I was thinking of getting one of these 125i's when it goes on sale again. It is suitable for beginners? My needs are nothing too fancy. Just a custom fitting here and there.
lets get to 1k
Thanks for the video! Just bought one and am brand new to welding. Keep up the great work

good video, body position is very important and get into the habit of steadying with your other hand and practice having them move in unison.
You should be able to do 1/4 steel with beveling and multiple passrd
yeah thats for sure.
Definitely, that machine and the Harbor Freight are the very same. Difference? The color.
FYI. You need to chip off the slag. Welds will be clearer.
I tried inverter arc welder should have returned it was junk. Or It was faulty. But got this one now! How is the ground cable to clamp? I have a heavy duty one worth swapping?
yeah if you have a heavy duty clamp definitely swap. The one on this machine feels kinda cheap and doesnt give rlly great connection.

Yes, I use it in my garage all the time 110 volts is good.
