I'm fairly certain Hunter missed half his Terror of the Peaks triggers. With two of those, and 2 dragons coming down at a time he'd have 4 triggers each time but I think he only used 2.
I pre-ordered Miirym, good see it play out the win. Looking forward to building off a bunch of CLB commanders so looking forward to seeing more on the channel. Good video, good game!

I was lucky enough to open miirym in some packs as well as most of the dragon support in baldurs gate. Just bought a draconic rage pre con and am now leading an army of clone dragons with a lot of synergistic effects and draw power. What more could I want. Oh wait, copper and bronze dragons
It doesn't. Noble heritage gives the player (Azrael), not his creatures, protection from the opponent. Also, that was last turn, meaning the protection already ended at that point.
So I play Wilson and he’s a beast, especially with double strike. Also if someone takes those counters, they are unable to block if Wilson comes at that opponent.
Hey there! Awesome that you play Wilson. He’s super fun. Of note, Noble Heritage grants protection to the owner, not to Wilson, therefore the opponent can still block Wilson. But it does protect you from being dealt damage by the opponent’s creatures if they try to attack you after having taken the counters. Tricky stuff!
Your permanents don't get protection from Noble Heritage If you want to make Wilson almost always unblockable, there's the Sword Coast Sailor background It's a combination I might try sometime, tho most of my friends hate Simic so I guess the Bear would get even more hate than he already gets
Exactly, some are leaning way to heavily into "Yay let's manipulate the top and make tokens!" Elminster's best gameplan is casting big game warpers way earlier then they should be: Extra Turns, Boardwipes, Approach, Augury, etc. etc. This commander is insanely powerful when you stop treating it like a gimmick.
I dunno how people can watch this kinda gameplay? There is zero character in it. Why put peoples names if we dont hear or see anything but fingers? Might as well do this all on MTGO or Moxfield to have higher quality assets.

He did, but it just would’ve led to a quicker game overall. Obviously didn’t affect the end of the game all that much

Tip: at the intro, when you're presenting the commanders, put the card images as well
Missplay at /:01 right? he had 2 Terror of the Peaks but just triggered one of them twice instead of both so he dealt 8 instead of 16 DMG

Using a counterspell to save the player with two terrors of the peak in play has to be one of the most questionable plays i've seen.
