Yeah, defense is underrated. Thankfully Rush duel makes it more useful and reminds us of the valid reason you set monsters face down. Even Speed Duel (Duel Links) you can sometimes eek a nice come back with a surprise high def monster. Tribe-Shocking Virus was well incorporated into that Speed Duel box. Of course, those boxes should be considered as board games rather than tcg products. Regular Bubbleman letting you draw 2 cards when your back's against the wall can be useful in a pinch, Like if you have no more cards and you draw Bubbleman, you kind of have a chance. You're probably losing in modern game, but I can see some funny decks try it.
Maiden of the Aqua should not be on the list! The fact you chose it makes me seriously question your judgment. Tribe-Shocking Virus has a near-useless effect, but the stats are decent, and actually the same can be said for Freezing Beast, too. Activating a set spell/trap to avoid destruction doesn't actually work, as I've discovered with Galaxy Cyclone. The target still gets destroyed. Also, you forgot Yado Karu, Zone Eater, Grass Phantom, Penguin Knight, etc, etc. Lots of very bad water monsters to choose from.
I think he used regular bubbleman cause he was literally a free pot of greed. Somehow the Anime forgot the "and you have no more cards in your hand" part XD. This makes Neo bubbleman even more useless.
Glad there's someone else not ashamed to remember we were ALL horny kids in middle school! XD Dark Magician girl barely covering her skirt, nuff said. XD
You know, a Top 10 list of cards that are banned by proxy would be neat. Although, Neo Bubbleman, Guardian Elma, and the stuff tied to Pot of Greed are the only ones I can think of.
I’d argue that TSV could be used way back when with cards like Exchange to potentially steal a monster from your opponents hand and ditch it if they get a good monster out, like destroying a Blue Eyes Ult by stealing another dragon. A huge gamble, but it could pull off a counter or two
Dude not all cards have to be Raigeki, Maiden of the Aqua shouldn’t be in a worst cards list, you can put her as a level 4 shield while also have the Umi ability on the field. Your lists are becoming so negative it’s ridiculous. Add some positivity to them!!
Extox Hydra can be used with Greater Polymerization. It says 2+, and Greater Polymer requires 3 tributes. The card would be significantly effective with penetrating battle damage due to its conditions for card draws.
Making Extox Hydra powerful would be pretty easy. Just make it so that the first 2 materials have to be monsters you control, then any extra materials can come from both fields. If they made a retrain like this it would be a very good Super Poly target
thousand eyes jelly fish has high defense because its amount of eyes make it hard to hit it probably is nimble and will dodge attacks from any directions.
For Extox Hydra I was thinking... the summoning requirement may include some Polymerisation card and 2 extra deck monster you control, but that doesn't exclude the possibility, to just steal 1 or 2 extra deck Monster from your Opponents field and fusing those, right? So, maybe they might bring out an archetype that allows you stealing monsters from your opponents field more easily...
it's really unfortunate that Extox Hydra requires material summoned from extra deck, instead of "Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, or Link" for its material because if so, you can still summon it with Heavy polymerization. Which would be not that bad
Maiden is not useless. You summon her off of Dark Reef because you need to send Umi to grave, thus leaving you without it. I’m sure there was a far more useless number 10 spot
Since Metamorph is still banned we have to treat Elemental HERO Neo Bubbleman as a banned card as well *UNLESS* you can cheat the effect or wait until Metamorph has ONCE PER DUEL effect so 2 players would use Metamorph only once
@@fernandorios474 Frankly a lot of old cards should be unbanned but errattad to only work with thier own archetype or once per duel. As a Umi Control player, Maiden of the aqua sometimes helped me to treat the field as Umi while Kairyu-shin was on the field, enabling it's floodgate effect
19:54 SO, Bubbleman and Neo Bubbleman both suck…
Idea to retrain BOTH to NOT… “Pop”… under the competition.
_Reboot HERO Bubbleman_ (WATER)
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
_This card’s name is always treated as “Elemental HERO Bubbleman”, except during Deckbuilding, but is still also a “Reboot HERO” card. If you control no other cards, or if this is the only card in your hand (Quick Effect), you can Special Summon it. You can only use each of the following effects of “Reboot HERO Bubbleman” once per turn. You can activate 1 Trap card from your hand. If there are no cards in your hand (Quick Effect); You can Draw 2 cards. You can Target 1 Target 1 face-up Attack Position "HERO" monster you control and 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls; change both those targets to Defense Position, then Shuffle that "HERO" monster into your Deck, then Special Summon 1 "HERO" monster from your hand._
ATK/800 DEF/1200
_Reboot HERO Neo Bubbleman_ (WATER)
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
_You can Tribute a Face-up “Bubbleman” monster and 1 “Fusion” or “Polymerization” card each from your hand and/or field (Quick Effect); Special Summon this card from your hand or GY, and if you do, Draw 2 cards. This card’s name is treated as “Elemental HERO Bubbleman” while on the field, but is still also treated as a “Reboot HERO” card. Negate the effects of and Destroy an opponent's monster that battles a “HERO” monster you control at the end of the Damage Step. You can Tribute 1 “HERO” monster you control (Quick Effect); Special Summon 1 HERO Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck with the same Level as the Tributed monster. (This is treated as a Fusion Summon.) You can only use this effect of “Reboot HERO Neo Bubbleman” once per turn._
ATK/800 DEF/1200
AND… As a Christmas gift, I’ll throw in a new sidekick AND Synchro monster each for Bubbleman:
_Sidekick HERO Bubbleboy_ (WATER)
Level 1
Warrior/Flip/Tuner/Effect
_FLIP: Add 1 card to your hand from your Deck, GY or Banishment that mentions “Bubbleman” in its name or text._
_If you control a Face-up “Elemental HERO Bubbleman” or a Face-up Fusion monster that mentions as one of it’s Fusion Materials (Quick Effect); You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY (Face-up or Facedown.) WATER “HERO” monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle while in Face-up Attack Position, and cannot be Destroyed by Card Effects while in Face-up Defense Position. Once per turn (Quick Effect), you can change the Battle Positions of any Face-up WATER “HERO” monsters you control. If this card is Tributed or used as Material for the Summon of a WATER “HERO” monster(s); Draw 1 card._
ATK/300 DEF/600
_Duo HERO Bubblebath!_ (WATER)
Level 5
Warrior/Synchro/Tuner/Effect
_”Sidekick HERO Bubbleboy” + 1 Non-Tuner WATER “HERO” monster_
_This card’s Synchro Summon that uses the above cards as Synchro Materials cannot be Negated or responded to. If this card is Synchro Summoned; Draw 2 cards, and also, if a “Bubbleman” monster has used as Material for this card’s summon, Increase this card’s original ATK/DEF by 900. Negate the effects of and Banish an opponent's monster that battles a “HERO” monster you control at the end of the Damage Step. Face-up WATER “HERO” monsters you control cannot be Destroyed. Once per turn (Quick Effect), you can pay 2000 LP: Activate 1 “Fusion” or “Polymerization” Spell/Trap from your hand or Deck. You can only Summon “HERO” monsters the turn you activate this effect._
ATK/2000 DED/2000
Neo Bubbleman is already getting an Evil Hero retrain Toxic Bubble.
@@ToniBlaster
Yeah but that’s also under a different (or at least divergent) archetype. I wanted Retrains that stay closer to the designs and intents of the original cards.
MOTA should be on the most BUSTED Water Type
What video starts with "and in the number 10 spot"
We need top 10 underrated water monster
1:07 terraforming is ban right?
1:29 also this card is ban
Maiden of the Aqua definitely SHOULD NOT be on this list.
AWOOGA AWOOOOOOOOOGA
Let’s go! Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!
can't wait for you to make an acctual video about Marinces or Trickstar
neos bubbleman. and jayden used him a lot in the anime.
It only good to use with bubble blaster
I think he used regular bubbleman cause he was literally a free pot of greed. Somehow the Anime forgot the "and you have no more cards in your hand" part XD. This makes Neo bubbleman even more useless.
@@MarioMastarJaden did use neo bubbleman 3 times biggest episode to destroy a sacred beast with the help of bubble blaster
Coming back after something like 3-4 years. Props to you for still having ideas and you also how come you sound the exact same as then? 😂
I remember wacking off to maiden of the aqua in middle school
Glad there's someone else not ashamed to remember we were ALL horny kids in middle school! XD Dark Magician girl barely covering her skirt, nuff said. XD
Most of the comments here upset about Maiden of the aqua.
Me upset with how he pronounced all the geddon monsters
You know, a Top 10 list of cards that are banned by proxy would be neat.
Although, Neo Bubbleman, Guardian Elma, and the stuff tied to Pot of Greed are the only ones I can think of.
I’d argue that TSV could be used way back when with cards like Exchange to potentially steal a monster from your opponents hand and ditch it if they get a good monster out, like destroying a Blue Eyes Ult by stealing another dragon. A huge gamble, but it could pull off a counter or two
Will Neo Bubbleman ever be good?
Merry Christmas
I take umbrage with your description of Crab Turtle, it's definitely a 3rd or 4th town encounter.
Sure but Sea Stealth II and Warrior of Atlantis don't have boobs
and contrary to popular belief, a lot of yugioh players actually LIKE women! XD
Maiden has two big reasons to not be on this list.
Forgot to say the only kind of good way to use neo bubbleman is to equip it with bubble blaster which is how Jaden uses it in the anime
it's really unfortunate that Extox Hydra requires material summoned from extra deck, instead of "Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, or Link" for its material
because if so, you can still summon it with Heavy polymerization.
Metamorphosis needs to be unbanned anyway.
@@Ergeniz but it needs that once per duel for everyone if it is off the banned list it'll be hotter than any sun
@@fernandorios474it’s possible to summon Neo bubble man without metamorph
@@fernandorios474 Frankly a lot of old cards should be unbanned but errattad to only work with thier own archetype or once per duel. Sick of retrains leaving entire archetypes unplayable while new cards like Tears and Kashtira can just stop your opponent from playing without input and remain mostly untouched.
Neo Bubbleman much later on beyond sick of everyone calling him useless he joined Necroshade and Captain Gold in Evil HERO club
3:05 Seriously, "Normal" is so specific sometimes that it feels more special than Effect.
I’m surprised we haven’t seen Santa Claws in any videos yet 👀
I think we have but I don't remember which video lol
@@Artist-Reborn Yeah I recall it too, an earlier video. In fact I think he appeared twice, but like we're talking YEARS ago.
It's a kaiju with some niche tech. Owner's seal gives it back and you get +1.
Need a spell or monster card that gets more powerful the number of Umi you have on the field
Missed opportunity to name the video "Top 10 worst waters"
Thought for sure Gishki Reliever would be here, but after seeing the number 10 spot I realized just how bad the members of this list would be
The number 1 monster seems perfect for a dueltaining deck to focus on and ultraboost
What top 10 list would you list Contrast Hero Chaos? Potentially good, but difficult to summon monsters?
Cards with high investment but little payoff
@Bob12649 True. Maybe the release of main deck Masked Heroes will change that.
@ when are we getting those?
@@Bob12649 🤷♂️
Not sure when. Have to wait and see if that ever happens.
Man, Extox Hydra is such a fun design. It just needed to be a little bit more powerful.
I’ll lift maiden of the aqua up
