one which didn't mention in the video was the ( cable construction ) 4 things to know; (a)copper // aluminum (b) conductor type (solid // stranded) (c) conductor surface coating (d)insulation type e.g p.v.c , XLPE.
So for all the veiwers those who might be wondering how is this worked out, its pretty simple: eg. A supply of 415V to supply a supermarket. Voltage drop MUST not exceed 2.5 % of our 415V therefore, its 2.5% of 415V 2.5÷100×415 =10.375V so this is the Maximum Voltage that is allowed to be lost due to due to distance etc. We can now easily say 415v - 10.375 = 404.625v So 404.6 V is the acceptable voltage drop for this Supermatket💯🙏🙏 Blessings.

Also the length of the conductors, the volt drop of the conductor, and the temperature in the location where the cable will be installed. Consideration of the prospective short circuit current of the circuit is important in order to select the correct type of breaker, which well handle such fault current without being damaged.
Love your videos bro awesome,💯👏👏 There are a few main factors that must be considered when selecting a cable for an installation/ load these includes but not limited to. (MPVD) Maximum Permissible Voltage Drop MUST not exceed 2.5% of the total voltage being supplied, The conductor Must be able to carry the maximum load current, the distance / length the cable will run from service main to load, and Installation condition this takes into consideration electrical and mechanical protection of the conductors weather it be underground, trunking, tray or conduits etc.... i hope i was of some help 🙏🙏👌 💯
Keep up the great work that you are doing just a quick question is it okay for me to buy blue and brown single cable for electrical installation in Jamaica I’m in the UK
Hi Sir, thanks for the videos. I thought electrical supply at homes and at offices comes at 240v maximum from split 120v/120v, but now you said you can install cables for a 400v power supply
Y pree mundo.. i overheard someone complaining that a 110v socket outlet in their office keeps burning so they changed the outlet to a new 1 and after like 2 months it burned again so they changed the breaker that supply it and it burned again within a month. What is causing this?
I only recommend 8 way for a small shop or a board house where u know the levels but otherwise i mainly order from 20 up but sometimes people buy what they want to save for them self at the time so you just work with it but yea bigger better
Yea at one point i never knew i would continue doing electrical because back on fort to the state etc but yea now i'm in the mood to crank it up a bit👍

What wire size I should used from pot head to meter to breaker?
Depending on the load u carrying
10mm -40/50amp
16mm- 40/50/70amp
25mm-50/70/100amp
35mm -70/100amp
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE ok thanks
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE what size you used for earthing from breaker box to the iron rod outside
Where did you learn how to be a electrical. Please respond i am really interested in join the field but am not sure where I should go to learn

Yes the theory is on point like an arrow sir
Thanks for the info but I want to know how to identify live and neutral without multimeter

Yes brown and blue are recommended in ja 👍

Is there a formula for calculating maximum amp capacity for a wire?
Bro like how we living on a tropical island full a sun shine whats your view on solar power systems #video
It is a good idea once a person can afford it

A overload circuit or the appliance wire size demand is not adequate enough other things can cause it as well
Correct
Wouldn't you advise that we use a cable larger than the breaker size, so that the breaker chip before the cable burn?
Yea we use larger cable than the breaker size at times which are better than the other way around which is undersize wire to a bigger breaker
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE 👍👍👍 that's a very important thing
by any chance do you have the sizing chart for main cables?

hello sir you said 800amp an 1000 amp. what typ of house we talking about ?becaus i want to put in my house a 100amp breaker for 6 rooms .
The 100amp is good for your house but for bigger things that's when we talk about those types of amperage fam
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE thanx you very much for your help .
What codes does you guys fall under, or what electrical entity governs the rules
Gorvernment electrical inspectorate ,

How do I wire a 3 way switch
Does the fact that you would want to add more as you go along building wise should you just put in a 16 way or 24 to save you time and money ....

True...I always factor in ac water heater electric store
Up move bro
What level certificate do you have?
Level 3 but right now i plan to take it further , think i have to make some sacrifice and find the time for it.
Yea you definitely should go for your license bcz you already doing the quality work expected from a license electrician.
