I'm having an interesting problem with this technique. I have two of these setups in a scene, one after the other. The second one isn't working correctly and I think it's the time effector. When it gets to the second setup the plain effector no longer works. I've tried clearing the freeze, and shutting off the first setup, but it won't work unless I turn off the time effector on the second setup. Any idea what might be happening? Thanks for the great tutorial BTW.

Really hard to follow you tbh...a little all over the place. It breaks for me after the second field to make it disappear is applied. Maybe its because Im using a sphere object?

No this was done in R25 but something similar can be done in R19. only that you can get it to auto animate with the effectors like it was done here
What about if I was the simulation to start from the center of the project, I mean time wise.
Then you wait and keyframe the field to touch your object when you want it to start
How to invert this process? Foe reveal
