I forgot to mention one of the most important modifications that we did. Change every shock to 60 wt shock oil. This supports the weight of the vehicle and body better and allows it to climb and do more technical obstacles.
in that jeep you have to find the macgyver figure with aviators and the mullet !!!! and i wont have anything else!!!! huuuumm maybe if you painted it white with a golden and black eagle on the bonnet you could fit daisy duke from the dukes of hazard!!!
Got Red Skull driving my CJ(9”MarvelLegendFigure). I trimmed the lower seat cushion down to 1/8th” and lowered the back cushion’s upper screw to the bottom hole. Also mounted the spare tire inside the back on a angle to match the roll cage. Relocated the battery in front of the rear axle. Also made wheel-wells out of cheap microwaveable breakfast bowls. Kicking some bumper ideas around this week but overall I’m satisfied with its capability. Appreciate this video, your channel and your demeanor. :-)
Very nice review as always. I have a heavy "stock modified" ex86110, the one like this but 313mm wheelbase. ESC is "ok" it's a hw 1040, change motor for 21t with 14t pinion 48dp, nice to crawl and nice speed with 3s. Original pinion is brass, I really recomend to change for steel one in run in mud. Battery place is (with removing front ujpperlink) the most important thing to do, after few trials, the best performance is just behind transfer case, transversal. you need to move electronics and remove box to do this, but you can keep also your body. Honestly after more than 40Km I think these are the "most sense" needed upgrades for this car and "moderate to hard" use. Whit this you have a vey capable crawler. ex86110 tyres are Louise ardent, so good ones. The weak point of this crawler are laterals, due to the elevated motor, for this i found that a little harder and drop shocks helps me enought. I would like you to try the 313mm version, but nice to see this. PD: Redcad chasis make the same flexion. Im not really sure about how bad it is, I really think it give some flex, in a good way. Only with a very very good shocks set up you could prefer a more rigid chasis. What do you feel ?
I'm surprised you never mention fixing the front end links... 4 link with servo on axle 3 link with cms 4 link with panhard and cms is just poor cloning and design. You guys definitely made an improvement though. Cheers
@@RCReviewChannel all these scx10 clones seems to all do the same thing. I think your viewers would like to see if you can show a performance difference on the bench or rocks as is with 4 links and unnecessary panhard rod... and then with the extra upper link removed with panhard re-installed to get the proper geometry and articulation of a true cms set up? Of course I'm going off photos on bangood website showing that this is how the front suspension is currently on this vehicle? Cheers mate
@@mickd8188 Yes totally agree, this and the rest of models of RGT comes with panhard plus 4link. You get like 1,5cm of vertical travel in a wheell with the rest 3 on the ground, from 11.5 to 13cm in a 313mm wheebase. I also re designed my panhard for a almost horizontal one, as the steering arm with servo under plate.
Still a trail crawler but definitely better than stock. Maybe try to move all the electronics and battery around to lower the CG, the motor still looks high though.
Arnie for sure! Awesome video! To be honest, these things cost near 160-180 € over hear...should be below 200 USD and its a no-brainer for that money. Thx for that Awesome review mate!
You did an excellent job with it I know you want to go further with it but it still came out a lot better than it look and handles a lot better now I give it to you you know what you're doing good video my friend thank you
Honestly keep the heavy wheel weight on all 4 and just put more weight upfront. Maybe some brass or something on the bumper👍. Great video as always sir. A mini shovel and a few gas cans would go far on this body for sure!😁✌️
Got for my new Range Rover, John Wick in his elegant black suit! In my Sendero sits the Policeman wich hunts the Terminator. And the TRX6 Benz is driven by Jessica Alba from Sinn City.
So that was my second take as the first beautiful monologue was out of focus. Saw that collar while editing but I couldn't stomach a third take. Maybe I should have used the out of focus one. lolol.
I would do all of the mods you just did... plus thicker Shock Oil. Driver Figure?? I'd love to get Beavis and Butthead, Scooby and Shaggy, or Marty McFly and the Doc! 😉 Can't afford any of them, but it's a nice thought. Please stay SAFE! 😷 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
XstaticDeath thanks man I’ll be looking into it i have seen it a few times would you happen to know if I would be able to put a Ford bronco body on the trx sport
Gen 8 is a great choice, can't beat the price . A set of weighted wheels is about all it needs. I also added a calmer motor to make it nicer for technical crawling.
Some people have enough play money to buy upgrade build have built anything or as much as they want. Other people like myself probably couldn't justify spending the amounts of money that it would take to build a high quality high end rig. Some people even have the equipment or the resources to build or create something according to limitations. The skill and craftmanship knowledge engineering skills problem solving skills it takes to improve make more efficient more competative machine is much more interesting and gratifying than finding out which bolt on upgrades will work the best. This goes for cosmetics as well.of taking a more affordable
This guy is always like just guessing what he is saying, usually no solid and detailed information but acts like he knows it all, but I’ll give it to him though…, there’s something funny on watching the way this old guy explain things unclearly 😁
+\- $385 after mods? This crawler doesn’t makes sense out of the box. Too pricey for what you get and what you need to do with it. Just get a TRX4 RTR or SCX10 RTR and you’ll almost be at the same price, but with a better truck in the end. Just my thought....Great video though!
What do you recommend to stiffen the frame? Rear part is easy, but not front part due to motor position. Server plate is different to the 86100's one and isn't suitable on a 86010 or 86110. I did this: ruclips.net/video/NLYj76YeqsM/видео.html

I just built a Capra and put 35wt front and 50wt in the rear. It’ll wheelie in reverse but not going forward. It really limits the squat.

Why not spend the extra $60 and get a trx4? Just curious.. thanks for sharing!
1... because you already have one
2... because of that Sport body
3... Bored In Place

Wow you made the front look more scale and less flat
I would also shorten and angle cut the front bumper.
Appearance: Looks ok.
Performance: Not even a mother could love.
probably too late to request, I'd like to see a review of the HPI Crawler King (yes, the master of the 15 point turn).
Keep up the good vids
do you have the links for the dolls? what scale of dolls is good for this jeep?
I may be misding it but you said you had the links for your upgrade ideas. I can't find the link for the drivers you talked about
i need some drive parts for mine and i can’t find parts anywhere i need a motor mount and the transmission driveshaft where do you find parts for it?
Would you please put a link to the driver that you got off of Amazon. Thanks
How to make the servo and the receiver waterproof sir?
Been waiting for this video! Thanks you! That was cool👍
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@RCReviewChannel absolutely, thanks for the content you delivery to us. Regards from Chile🇨🇱
Nice video
I bet if you ran no foams it would be better on the rocks
Driver? 8" Chuck Damn Norris maybe Mr. Lee would like to tag along😆
You wanted more realistic Willys jeep? Get the 1/6 ROC Hobby RC, it's very realistic.
Hey what do you think about the redcat gen8 scout 2 for a beginner?
If it's about price then go for it, but I recommend the trx4 sport. It's worth the price.

Looks like a knock off of the Gmade Sawback 4LS, which I have. My chassis doesn't flex like that though.
I want a terminator exoskeleton for my bronco
Shouldn`t no 3 be no 1?
I have Bob Ross (Neca) driving my rigs.
As a driver i will put a predator and as a passenger .... colonel Dutch

esc, battery $$
1st mod should be buy a different truck
Truck needs to be $175 to $200 imo.
Exactly Sean. They're trying to up their bling factor by raising the price. Should work on the engineering and manufacturing first.
Fall guy, Lee Majors. Duh.
fear of walking dead
