I just dont know how Jeff Stanton a few months before the kick off of the 93 season was still very aggressive looking and fast. Then basically lost it and let jeremy dominate. It had to be mental exhaustion on his part.
timobrian444 Jeff didn't let Jeremy do anything. Jeff underestimated Jeremy from the get go and Jeremy brought a whole new level of riding to the sport. He rode supercross tracks like he raced BMX bikes before that. Jeff never stood a chance and it took years for peoplt to start riding like Jeremy in my opinion.
the good old days when ALL the top pro's came over from the states and raced the top Europeans, not like the molly coddled contracts they have now where fear of injury stops them riding outside of the USA. These riders were real pro's ....
Strangely some how Jean Michelle rode better than ever, but he didn't look or ride like Jean Michelle,he rode more like Rick Johnson, and thru the whole race kept thinking who is the guy in the lead, his style wasn't Bayle style but I said has to be Jean Michelle,#1 plate sx champ,he's usually has his own unique arm and head movements, but this race he changed his body movement so much he was not moving as much, and he was untouchable he rode so good, and Stanton was on the charge,McGrath first time on 250cc SX,solid but not Jeremy we useally see in SX.Thanks for great video, don't get Euro sx on tv in USA...much appreciated...
Did MC Grath was so strong ? We can imagine he was better in 1993 and could beat Stanton. But perhaps Stanton and Bradshaw was at the end. They didn't want anymore. They had to beat JMB during 3 years and they knew JMB was faster 2 seconds. Imagine the second in 1993 ama supercross was kidrowski ! Fucking french pilot ... Funy french pilot. So lucky to have this feeling.
As good as Bayle was back then, if he had stayed in the US racing supercross and the nationals, McGrath would have beaten him. Jeremy ended up beating every established veteran and Bayle would have been no different. McGrath created a revolution within the sport that no one could have competed with unless they emulated his techniques. Oddly, Bayle was a little bit of a precursor to this as well with his observed trials riding elements he brought. Once McGrath became prime McGrath he would've dominated anyone in the world indoors.
@urgonnaluvit AMA supercross is in reality a world championship as well. The best supercrossers on the planet are all in the AMA. That was true then, and it's still true today.
awesome another channel with oldschool MX races, love this stuff!
Thanks 🤩🤙🏻
What a race, reminds me of modern Supercross. Stretched out track
Jeremy McGrath the greatest Supercross racer of all time
RC, JS, CR, RV were all better in their prime.
He is the best Supercross Racer So far. Motocross different story.
with faster bikes...
Yep
@@gamingcentral1616 if all were in their prime McGrath would smoke them
Da waren die Strecken auch noch richtig geil
Das stimmt 🤩
die schönen zeiten wo sowas noch im free-tv lief
Ja Hammer 😍🤙🏻🤙🏻

Yes but for me ,i am Belgian .i like not french pilote ,for me the best crossman is Stefan Everts and Carmichael ,mcgrath
What number is Mc and JMB?
@amgfreak94 Ja das war super leider kann man kaum noch was sehen von Supercross oder Moto-Cross
Only way this track could be better is if it ran through the bathrooms, er, water closets.

Team Yamahas Jeff emig
Burner was #26, who was #27?...
Was not is...
JMB a mis presque 12 secondes dans la tronche de Stanton, c'est énorme et c'est même une humiliation.
Herlings is dominating the Americans now...just as Bayle did back then 😂
huh. i don't remember seeing herlings line up at anaheim, or any other supercross for that matter.
@@mr2981 huh ? Hes got more important things to do , like win world championships 😆
@@urgonnaluvit How's that going for him?
