I am so happy, in this exciting performance and Proms venue, Yuja has 'doubled down' on those poor antediluvian moral souls who have always been inspired in their 'critical mind-set' toward her by outrage over her outfits. This one, I gotta say, is certainly as bold as it gets, and is beautiful. Go Yuja go! And, when we get past that, the subtlety and musical artistry she shows at the piano in this often bombastic concerto is another wonder to behold.

Awfull performance- the pianist is not together with the orchestra and the conductor ”Ken Boy” doesn’t understand the music he’s trying to conduct. No soul! And then comes the lovely solo for clarinet but here totaly destroyed by a clarinetist with awfull hollow sound and totaly out of tune with the piano. Go home and learn how to use a tuner
I really don't care for this piece much, too many errant distracting technical flourishes that do not serve the crux of the piece which, by the way, is also difficult to decipher without dozens of hearings.
