I bought a lime tree, the nursery didn’t say it was a key lime. The limes are little and won’t grow any bigger. They fell off when they turned yellow. It also has thorns. Is it a key lime tree.

Thanks. We are growing our first Key lime tree in a pot. Got 3 fruits so far and am anxious to harvest.
What do you use to feed the tree?

I use just citrus fertilizer. If you’re going to eventually plant it out in the ground it’ll get bigger, and once it’s big, if you Nick the bottom bark of the tree, 4 inches from the ground, that will force it into creating more fruit. But you have to wait until it’s a little bit older. I did mine after about two years. Now it has hundreds of limes on it almost all year long.
