I'm a Huel user, so jumped on this when YT promoted it. So many awesome lessons that I'll be taking from Julian and he seems like a genuinely good guy. Thank you Ali for asking those searching questions. Often I find with these types of interviews that it's hard to relate to the founders because they don't remember enough details from their earlier days. You have a new subscriber :)

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

Oh 37 - wow how impressive - he’s so old! are you f-ing kidding? I built my first online business 4 years ago at 52. We are living a lot longer these days where middle age is closer to 50.
Young people have ambition for sure - but they don’t tend to have the knowledge, discipline or resilience for the long haul. I started my first business at 27 & had it for 25 yrs. There just is no perfect age to start a business but imo the older you are the better chance you have succeeding for the above reasons. Plz don’t send a message that 37 is old.

You can tell Julian worked in marketing. The marketing for Huel is S-tier. I really don’t feel a stigma drinking food, Huel allows me to be infinitely healthier without even trying. Allows me to be a more sustainable person without even trying.
It removes the time spent deliberating over the quality of the food you’re eating. The format of Huel is almost secondary to its appeal. Truthfully it’s how any healthier food in 21st century should be, streamlined, simple and convenient. Instead of having to personally micromanaged 365 days a year.
    It’s an impressive enterprise.

Excellent podcast! Lots of lessons on entrepreneurship, strategy and persistence.

  • @listentaba
    @listentaba 3 дня назад

ou just know Julian worked in marketing-Huel’s branding is so good, they could probably sell snow to a polar bear. I mean, I drink my meals now, and somehow, there’s zero shame in it. With Huel, I’m effortlessly healthier without lifting a finger (except to shake the bottle, of course). It's like becoming an eco-warrior without even trying-saving the planet, one shake at a time.
Gone are the days of standing in the kitchen, overthinking if my food is organic enough or if that salad dressing is secretly plotting against my diet. Huel is the future of food: fast, easy, and so streamlined, it makes home-cooked meals look like something out of the Stone Age. Honestly, why even bother cooking anymore when you can blend your way to a six-pack? If the 21st century had a flavor, it’d be convenience-and probably vanilla Huel.
Say what you will, but this whole enterprise is genius. No wonder Julian’s out there, sipping his way to world domination."
This version adds some playful sarcasm and controversy around the modern obsession with convenience and "effortless" health trends.

    To the merciful hearts 🤲🤲
I am a mother of orphaned children from Palestine, Gaza Strip 🇵🇸
I appeal to the good and doers of good. I appeal to the servants of the Most Merciful to help me and help my children
We are a needy family, our conditions are very bad, life is difficult and there is no breadwinner for my children, and the conditions are harsh in Gaza because of the war and the siege
We live without a home in Zingo's room, made of very bad iron
I hope a good person who does good and works for the sake of God can help us with the expenses of the house and finishing the room
It protects my children from rain, winter and cold
Forgive me for entering this way, the circumstances are stronger than me 😢😢 The number inside the picture ☝

Come on Ali. You are a doctor. You should know that the talk, which is the basis of this podcast about pleasure and happiness is nonsense. And you should know about the role of the microbiome in health, particularly, in relation to the immune system. In which event you should know that using supplements to maintain health in the place of whole foods is nonsense. It doesn't matter how much money someone makes from nonsense; it is still nonsense.
