Thanks Katie! I think one thing that is almost as important as the actual number is… HOW you pitch that number! I think creatives have a tendency to feel uncomfortable asking for money and that REALLY comes across in the pitch! Be clear, concise and direct - “my rate is x for y deliverables.” If you leave room to be paid less, you will be paid less 😉 good luck everyone!
Great! I just had my first sponsored video and I reached out to another creator with a similar audience to me to ask how much they charged. It was super helpful and I ended up having a negotiation, so clearly I priced it correctly!
amazing timing!!! have been loving all of your videos on brand deal pitching and media kits but i really needed a better understanding of starter pricing points! excited to watch and here's to hoping!!!🎉❤
Very helpful video, thank you. Growing the channel is always a challenge and on the way, learning is half the battle for these additional aspects of RUclips and social media.
You are right about feeling resentful for charging too little. I’m at 40k subs and charge $200 for a 5-10 min video. I wanna charge more but for some reason don’t have the guts 😩😬
@@trashy.cat_. I watch your videos and we have a similar number of subscribers so I'm curious how much you charge per 1k views for a 60 second ad on your video
Thank you for this video and knowledge! I recently came across your channel on a suggested video and I love your content. Well constructed and super informative. I've learned a lot from you as a newer RUclips content creator, I feel like a fish out of water most of the time on this journey! Thanks you again!
Do you do set amounts no matter the brand? Cause sometimes I work with huge brands and other time it's smaller brands and both do not have the same budget. How do you go about this?
From one Katie to another ... Thank you!!! THIS is the video I needed! I have been too nervous to agree to any brand deals even though I know that is my next step for growth. I never know what to charge!
Love the content. Great information and so helpful. Here's my question, how do you represent this inside RUclips when you're uploading the video for this new deal if you are doing a brand deal of some type and does it matter whatever type of deal you might be doing? Does this affect the ad monetization, etc of this sponsored video?
I needed something like this, still haven't managed to land a paid sponsor yet, only been receiving products for free in exchange for a post. Everytime I attempt to give a rate to a company, they completely blank me rather than try negotiate a price so not even sure if I should be aiming for a lower amount or more.
That's a tough one! Maybe try a lower price next time, and then the time after that experiment with a higher one? It's really hard to know until you just try it out and see the result 🙏🏻
Hi Katie, I found this video very helpful. I am a content creator and as of now I am only making affiliate commission. I receive free product to use in my videos and use affiliate links. In my most recent deal I did negotiate the commission rate but never even thought to charge per video because she is letting me choose whatever product I am wanting. I am relatively new to this world so curious if that was the right way to go? Id love for your input. THANKS!
I'm wondering if brand deals are for a month or per video? So if I have 2500 subs and get a brand deal for $200, is that per month (as in 4 videos) or per video (potentially allowing me to earn $800 in a month).
Hey, i have created a yt video and then brand came and asked for favour to change its thumbnail and title when video was trending. Do you think we can charge that too??
This is great advice for a problem I hope to one day have 😂 love the videos

Just as I am getting some emails for collaborations, you post this 🙏 Thank you, just what I needed!

Oh yeah 1k minimum

Great practical advice especially about how to keep increasing your rates. Thanks for the straight forward advice.
Thank you!!
I’m going to try harder this year working on RUclips!
This was so interesting. We’re not at brand deals yet, but fingers crossed we can in the future. Cheers 🍻
God grant me the ability to be able to set rates in the future 🙏🏾
In Jesus name Amen🙏🏾thiss🙌🏾
Seriously? This is not how God ought to be called out. Ugh religious people really don't get it.
Such a helpful video! I was wondering how to go about this and you’re advice just gave me such a great road map 🤗
Loving all your content!!!❤

Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks this was super helpful! I just made my first offer for my IG content 😬😬🙏🏾
I can’t afford your membership, but I can’t wait to continue watching your RUclips videos on how to become an influencer!!! ❤
Very valuable info....appreciate the insight.

@@Boos_Boswell via word of mouth and referrals and I think I'm under charging myself

Me da mucho gusto mirror a Katie steckly en in nuevo video :)
Hi Katie - Your videos have helped me grow my channel in just one month from 0 views to 23k views and 300+ subs. Thank you! ❤🎉
that's awesome - congrats!!
By the way first comment 🎉🎉🎉
She didn't actually say anything relevant.

u-screen is insanely expensive. It's the worst advice for start up youtubers.
Best video thus far explaining how to go about getting brand deals! 🙏🏿🫶🏿
