Great video. Is there any real difference from a system you buy from home depot, a company like rainsoft or cullinan vs others that run $8K+? One of my neighbors bought a system for like $1800 and another spent $7k+ is it a scam or not? A sales man for tge expensive system says his works better and cleaner and brought a purifier and alkaline filter to the kitchen.
How's the water less hard if it is replaced by salt by the softener? Isn't salt bad for your skin drying it out as well?

@@Smalaihollo The problem with is that the dissolved solids are not lowered by a softener, It is simply replaced with salt.
