    I've been playing this way for about 25 years. I figured it out myself and it tends to work without odds until you are up by 50%. If you have 200 bucks and are on a 10.00 table you can play for hours as others just come and go. You are literally treading water and waiting for a hot roll on "the right side". The don't pass is just insurance. I do 2 come bets and wait for 3 straight passes to move to the pass line.

    Had a blast in Reno can’t wait to go and play again.
    This strategy is a ton of fun as you start to feel it and wander away from the 4 unit base. I love that it gives you the options to do things your own way but also gives some good stability

    • @ProCraps
      @ProCraps 3 года назад +2

      @PJ Strong LOL. I never intend for anyone to play it straight 4 bets. That’s just base. And yes you’ll grind all night on it.
      Try it with a lay on the DP. Or by ore-setting $44 inside and let the come bets knock those down. It’s a great springboard.
      This works best if you are creative after roll 4 or if you pound the don’t early
      The name came about because I used to hedge the come out 7 with a lay 4. But that’s a bad recipe. So I killed the hedge, and thus the name.

      So I used this strategy this weekend at Atlantis. 6 dollar big red and 5 dollar eleven hedge on come out. The come out 11's alone put me way ahead surprisingly. Big red just softened the blow if 7 came out only a 4 dollar loss. Point 7's made me giddy. The only scares are when knocked off point and have 75 dollars sitting there working on come out. Would go back on DP bet 30 on big red (rather lose 30 than 100) if 7 hit I'd lose 100 (DP and working come bets) but win 120 on big red. I'd then sit the rest of that shooters round out. I've never played 25 dollars before but figured I'd do it since that's how the strategy was presented. In multiple sessions I actually walked away coloring up. Since this strategy is very similar to the "growth" strategy I was weary on trying it. Glad I did though. Pretty much my favorite strategy now.

      @@slloyd9892 Try the pass line with at least double odds. Then making two come bets ( which will offer some protection from the early 7). I like to have 3 numbers working 4 if you feel a hot table. This does leave you out there but when the numbers start hitting it’s great fun hearing the dealer say “off and on”.

    • @slloyd9892
      @slloyd9892 3 года назад

      Actually used this with a twist this weekend (lol I live to close to Reno) Still 25 don't pass , but instead of 25 come I used 10 come and added 15 odds or 16 if it was 5 or 9. Still risking same amount but if a number repeats bigger payouts (4 and 10= $40, 5 and 9 = $35 and 6 and 8= $28 ) but if point 7 hits its only $35 vs $50. The best part is if you get on 3 numbers and shooter hits his point, if he 7's on come out you lose 30 instead of 75 and get your odds back.

    • @ProCraps
      @ProCraps 3 года назад +3

      @@slloyd9892 I like it ... I'll roll that out in the coming weeks. One thing off the bat that we need to figure out is when to place the odds. As the come bets come through, they provide 7 wins along the way. If you add the odds as you go, then after the first come bet is set, you no longer have that win on the short roll. It might be to get them all set, then add the odds. You run the risk of an early repeat without odds, but that's the lesser of the 2 evils, I think?

    There was a video similar to this a few years ago, and I have adopted that strategy. 1 unit on don’t pass, then 1 unit on a come bet. If the shooter is still going I put 1 unit on odds for the come and don’t pass. Then 2 units on come, up to 3 come bets with increasing units. Once you have 3 come bets going, and the shooter hits their point, then rolls 7 on the come out, that really hurts, but hit a few come bets with odds and your chip stack stays level and could grow

    I bet against the dice. Seven, line away is my favorite phrase when I am at the craps table. I first reduce the house odds on the first roll, then I lay odds and have the advantage for the rest of the roll.

    Instead of 3 come bets you should make a place bet and a come bet after the point is made then follow with one last come bet. This makes at least one of your bets pay better than even money and you have the ability to take it down when you get in a sticky situation.

    What I don't like about come bets is if the point is made, the come bets are working on the next come out. I've been wiped out so many times this way-it' sucks. Also there's the whole having to roll twice to get paid to consider as well. I guess the reason to make them is to get odds, but if you're not betting odds, place bets seem better.

    My betting strategy is not allowed in some casinos. If they do not allow "Offsetting bets".
    Bet multiples of $30 on pass & don't pass. Then lay odds on the don't pass. Then just keep betting $30 on come/don't come and lay odds on the don't.
    Bet every roll. We want to see as many different numbers as we can before the 7 shows up, but don't care when it shows, just that it happens regularly as the odds say it should.
    Advantages of this system is that the offsetting bets gets you past the initial house advantage on the first roll of a shooter when 7/11 are winners.
    Once the points are set, we have the statistical advantage on every bet.
    The best part is that when points are made, you only lose one bet, but when the 7 shows, we win all our bets at once. I love leaving the table on a big win instead of a loss.

      @@ColorUp Full agreement on the fact that it doesn't eliminate the house edge. Whatever number is barred (2,3 or 12) will lose the pass and push on the don't. Since I am laying odds against, reducing the initial roll odds (8 vs 4 to lose down to just 1 or 2 chances to lose half the base bet)is worth it to me.
      What this does in my estimation is to turn the game into much closer of a true odds game. Even money on pass/don't pass is not that great, and the casinos that allow sky high odds bets allows you to get true odds on a higher spread of bets. I haven't seen many casinos that cap the odds bets if the base bet is still under the table limit, but I suppose some do exist.
      Nice to see that you have a video talking about the system I use even if it is saying it's a bad way to bet, although it has one glaring error in it.
      When you have a bet on the don't and the barred number is rolled, the bet is a push, not a loss. Unless there are casinos that call that a loss. I would never play in those casinos though.

      What I do on a 15 table is to put money on the pass. Once the point is established, put 18 on 6 and 8. 4 and 10 I put 1 times odds, 5 and 9 2 times, 6 and 8 3 times. If the point is 6 or 8, pull down your chips. Max bets are 50 to 58 per shooter. 3 hits on the 6 or 8 gets you money back. Depending on the rolls, you can make some good cash. As long as you don't start out with super short rolls, you should be making some cash.

However, I'm confused when it comes to betting the max amount in the come or place bets. I seen your video where you bet $96 in all the place bets (4- $15, 5-$15, 6-$18, 8-$18, 9-$15 , 10-$15). So the odds bet is 3x4x5x not 2x3x4x. As far as place bets they are based off of a table minumum. Which could range anywhere from $5 to $25. the example you mentioned, the video must of been based off a table that requires a minimum bet of $15. So every bet has to be at least $15. The 6 and 8 though should always be bet in multiples of 6 though as they payout is 7:6 so that why those should be bet, $6 on a $5 table, $12 on a $10 table, $18 on a $15 table and $30 on a $25 table.

    You cannot replace come bets with place bets, come bets are a contract bet once established on a number, unless you're just referring to not using a come bet at all and placing bets once a point is established.

    Unfortunately no betting strategy can overcome a house advantage. In won’t even dent it. Of course you can’t even lose at a greater rate than whatever the house advantage is. The trends that you mention are just variance. But once you get into the long run, variance no longer can be a determining factor. But if you want to play and if using a betting strategy is fun for you, by all means use it. If you are a control shooter, you are alternating the house percentage and if you are good enough at it, that percentage can swing to the players advantage. So then a betting strategy that reduces the total money you risk on random shooters and increases the total money risked on yourself will be beneficial to you.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  3 года назад

      You have mentioned all things that are true. I have never encountered a controlled shooter that wins at game long term, but that would be the only way.

      @@ColorUp dice contact is possible, but you have to make the lowest house advantage bets possible. They are the Pass Line with maximum odds all the time, or the Don’t Pass laying maximum odds all the time. Betting the Pass Line, the idea is to reduce the chances for the Seven to show. Of course you want to reduce the Seven on Come Out rolls betting the Don’t Pass, but after a point has been established then you use the all Sevens dice set to roll the Seven. You use the hard way set to avoid the Seven. You should always have maximum odds working on Come Out rolls. You never want to get paid on numbers without odds. So if the flat bet is working, then the odds must work as well. The house will not allow you to have Come bets off on Come Out rolls like place bets. Perhaps they should allow the Come Bets to be off on Come Out rolls, and still keep them as contract bets that can’t be removed. That wouldn’t alter their advantage mathematically since they can’t be removed, unlike place bets that can be removed at any time. The 6 and 8 could be placed, but that’s still not a good idea because the house advantage is 3 times higher than the Pass Line with maximum odds. All other bets should never be made.

      You said rolls don't happen in probability, but trends happen. That's incredibly contradictive. Overall, it's dangerous for people that actually come to your channel for strategy.

      Trends absolutely do happen. They do not roll according to probability in the short term. That’s how gambling works. Don’t really need to go back to school to understand that. Thanks for comments.

    • @ColorUp

      It’s just variance. No I do not believe you can predict a trend as each roll is independent. But you can look back and define a string of rolls as a trend.
