Technically, Gastly wasn’t “unused” because he was in brimstone when Gengar first appeared, Gengar starts off as Gastly, then he has Gengar’s face, but Haunter’s silhouette, and finally, it actually becomes Gengar, so I’m happy that those concepts weren’t just made for nothing 😊😊
