Sitting with one of the greatest tight ends to play the game, a super bowl champion and projected first ballot hall of famer…Travis Kelce shares with Ryan, Channing and Fred how his contributions in the sport are just hitting stride and his legacy is still a work in progress.
With the NFL post season underway and the Chiefs have the number one seed, Travis says if the team plays flawless football as they are capable of- no team is beating them. Under the leadership of MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes, Travis shares why there is no one more cut out to lead a team than his quarterback and certainly no one more talented to play under center than #15 and that playing for Coach Andy Reid is one of the most motivating and rewarding experiences of the right end’s life. Being a part of this special unit, Travis credits the younger guys on the team for stepping up in unexpected roles this season and admits anything less than Kansas City winning a Super Bowl is a disappointment, but respects the road ahead with tough teams to face in Cincinnati and Buffalo.
Always a family first mentality and having his older brother Jason to look up to, Travis credits his close bond with the Philadelphia Eagles star as his motivation to be the best version of himself on and off the field. Travis talks about his life transitions from being suspended at college to putting in the work to reflect and reevaluate his path to everything finally clicking for him as a player leaving behind behaviors that may have derailed his All Pro career.

Everyone has at least one moment in the life were they either gave up, stayed in the same place or situation or made a u turn or direction. I admire TK for his transparency and I enjoyed everyone for their testimonies and what they have learned from their trials in life.
The conversation always flows and seems effortlessly comfortable. Very insightful discussions every time. I’m from Boston so I’m biased to saying Gronk the best TE ever, I still think Gronk at his peak had the best 4/5 year TE run. But the fact that Kelce been doing it for such a longer period of time of dominance is hard to argue against. Dude’s a beast and seems like a great guy as well. Not a Chiefs fan but definitely a Travis Kelce fan and especially a fan of the Pivot. Another great podcast episode. Dope content again

That was one of the greatest podcast I’ve ever seen. It was awesome in the material covered and how the transitions were executed. I remember when Kelce first joined the Chiefs. His talent was evident but the space between his ears needed work. I was glad that Andy stuck it out with him and they both worked to make him better. Travis is one of the greatest and in a couple more years will be the GOAT.

One of my favorite players of all time as a Chiefs fan. Travis was my favorite player on the team until Mahomes but with Mahomes as 1a Travis is 1B. As someone who loved Gonzalez it’s been incredible to be able to have a guy of Kelces ability on the team. It’ll be a day of mourning when Kelce hangs it up someday. Hopefully we can have him for another 5+ years because I love him. When it’s clutch time and a play has to be made Kelce is unstoppable.
When Travis was talking about his style being on account of where he came from, all I could think about was how his brother came from the same place. I was pretty stoked when they immediately mentioned that lol.

As a lifelong CHIEFS fan, watching Tony G. for all those years, then watching Kelce, I will be honest. The early years I thought he was a hot head, like when he threw the "flag" at the official. Then I thought he was a joker with Catching Kelce thing. It wasn't until he matured a bit and started to become the player and guy he is now that I became a big fan. I never thought we as CHIEFS fans would see another TE of Tony G's caliber, and Kelce just continues to break records and become THAT GUY. It's a pure joy to be a CHIEFS fan now after so many years of mediocrity and never quite making it to the BIG GAME since the year I was born. Thank you Trav. You are a big part of our recent success and have helped bring joy and a bright future back to an entire city.
