I'm currently using the Biore UV watery essence! I was reluctant to try it since I'm mostly avoiding fragrance. But my skin has no issue with it and it has become one of my favorite sunscreens!
I have combination skin and the Canmake Clear version is not greasy at all. For me it can be a bit drying in winter if I don’t put moisturiser underneath. It’s very lightweight and watery, however, as Kelly said, it is very shiny and shimmery and won’t control your oils.
Hi, Kelly! Thank you for your interesting video and it never bore me. My current sunscreen is Axis - Y Complete No - Stress Physical Sunscreen. Actually, I've been using this sunscreen for a few days but I'm quite impressed with its performance. There is no white cast and the finish is matte on my oily skin. I love this sunscreen by far. ☺
I'm using up my Purito for indoors in the winter and I have La Roche Posay SPF 50 mineral fluid ultra light for sunnier days. I sure hope Purito comes out with a great reformulation. Thanks for doing a great giveaway!
I've been wanting to try the Canmake for as long as I can remember. I'm currently using the Heliocare advanced gel spf 50 - it is an elegant formulation too, but much more easily accessible in my area. I've never won a giveaway, but let's see😊

Uwaaah~ I've been eying the Canmake sunscreen for a long time and I missed the opportunity to buy it when it was around $9 on Stylevana. My hesitation was mostly because I was waiting for more reviews on it, so I'm really glad to see your video/review on it! :) so thank you for that, Kelly! Will definitely get the clear one next time. As for the current sunscreen I'm using, I don't really go out anymore so I'm trying to use up the sunscreens I already bought. The ones I bought were before the whole Korean sunscreen SPF issue, so I'm trying to use up my Klairs Airy suncreen. And I also have the Purito centella one. Not gonna throw it away since I hate wasting it, especially since it's perfect to use at home. Thank you for the opportunity! I would reeally love to try the Isntree toner and the bifida serum. I recently just got the mugwort clay mask so i'm excited

I'm also trying out Anessa's sunscreen milk (normal version because I can't find the sensitive skin version) and also Rovectin's Skin Essentials Aqua Soothing Uv Protector!
I'm currently using the Kinship and the Neutrogena Zinc sunscreen but have the Canmake and the Biore UV Aqua Rich watery essence on the way. I can't wait to try them and add them to my sunscreen wardrobe 😁
Hello, I am currently using the Missha all around safe block essence sun spf 45 pa +++. It has a floral scent to it but i am not bothered by it, also it has modern filters like tinasorb s. It has no white cast. I am recommending it if you have combination skin. Have a nice day!
I am still using up my Purito and Keep cool this winter because as much as I love trying out new serums, toners, moisturizers I do NOT like taking my chances with sunscreen. The only one tempting me right now is the Isntree sun gel. I will wait for more reviews before taking a chance though.
Hi Kelly I'm currently using the canmake clear version on my very dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I will use it up, but the search continues for me. It isn't irritating and I have no issue with the finish, but those mineral filters are enough to leave me a bit dry at the end of the day. My skin is very zinc sensitive - any skincare with zinc included doesn't work for me at all. The new generation filters have made wearing sunscreen much easier for me as my skin seems to tolerate them really well, but mineral spf's have always been very drying. Many of the older generation filters burn/sting - sunscreen is a bit of a minefield for me. I'm extremely pale and cool toned so the white cast isn't an issue, but the drying effects are on mineral or combination sunscreens. The hunt continues. The canmake is a nice sunscreen to wear, but the small size and the drying of the skin mean it isn't going to be a regular purchase for me. I haven't tried the Anessa and from your review know it won't work either. I have ordered the Altruist to try, as it's a UK brand which is easy for me to get and around £9 (a similar price to the canmake, but a lot bigger). I loved the purito and wore it for a whole year, so I'm on the hunt for something to replace it. I'll let you know when I find it. Best wishes.
I'd like to know what you think of the ISEHAN Kiss me Mommy UV Aqua Milk, that one is waterproof. I'm currently finishing up my tube of Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence and am on the lookout for a good sunscreen
I was using the PURITO centella suncreen but I realised it always made my skin red 🥵, so i stopped and with lockdown and stuff I haven’t been using sunscreens that often and I still feel like they clog or irritate my really sensitive skin. And the recent news had left me really wondering what to use so glad this video came up. I always wanted to try the Mugwort clay mask, but my university student budget just hasn’t permitted it. 😂
La Roche-Posay Anthelios Hydrating Cream SPF50+. It is easily available here in Finland so I have to use it because ordering outside Europe takes sooo long at the moment. Looking for alcohol-free alternatives for summer🌞
@@marynjesh Thank you! I'm interested to check out those. Haven't seen that la roche-posay in drugstores here but should be easy enough to get online :)
I am currently finishing my purito unscented but I just got my Yesstyle order so I can finally try my new sunscreens 😍 I will just use the purito on my neck. These are the ones I bought: Bioré UV watery gel, Missha aqua sun gel and Bioré Athlizm (very excited about this one for summer!!)
So I was using the Purito unscented, then the Keep Cool sunscreen (and I will keep on doing it until it's empty since where i am until a few days ago was winter and grey). In days where I need high protection I use La Roche Posay hydrating SPF50, is not my favourite because it leaves me a bit to shiny but as long my skin is protected I am happy. Still on the hunt for the perfect one.
I'm currently using the Anthelios shaka ultra fluid spf50 and I'm really enjoying it as I have acne prone skin and oily skin too. However, I just bought the Isntree hyaluronic acid sunscreen and I'm excited to try it! I love your videos Kelly, you are a skin care superstar.
Currently using the LaRoche Posay Shaka Fluid. But it's too drying for me due to the alcohol. Been hunting for a new one. This video was extremely helpful! Thank you Kelly!❤️
I am glad that you are enjoying the Canmake sunscreens! I am also using the Canmake Clear version as my daily sun protection, and yes the bottle is too small. I already bought two backups :D
i have the canmake and i only use it on days i want the best skin because it's so tiny 😭 on other days i am using up the purito comfy water indoors only and the skin & lab one (good but i hate the fragrance). all these were removed from yesstyle tho so i wonder what's up with that. love your videos!!!!
Currently I’ve been using the Omi Verdio sunscreens! Im using the more moisturizing one in the tube since it’s winter but once that’s gone I’m moving to the one in the bottle and it’s even more lightweight❤️
I'm using the Eucerin SPF 30 Body Sunscreen on my body and face bc it's creamy, moisturizing, and cost-effective! For more active or days I need longwear sunscreens, I opt for good ole Banana Boat haha. I'm also a fan of sunscreen cushions as a way to touch up!
I am currently using the Krave Beauty The Beet Shield. Thank you for trying out new alternative sunscreens I was going to try the Purito after I finished up KraveBeauty’s sunscreen but this whole fiasco happened so I will stick with the beet shield for now! Thank you always for such great content!
I'm currently using La Roche Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine SPF50+ sun cream, seems to be pretty good except the white cast, which is okay most days as I wear a light layer of foundation and I suppose it would be a learning curve to find any mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast 😅
I love how informative your videos are! Really curious to try Mermaid clear sunscreen.. I always look for sunscreens that are fragrance-free, essential oil-free, alcohol-free, moisturizing with no cast. I have been using dear klairs soft airy uv essence for a long time but I had Bad reaction over time every time i use it. Its It's probably because some small amounts of citrus oils it contains. Can you recommend something similar but safe? 👋🙂
I´ve started to test a new sunscreen today La Roche-Posay Anthelios age correct. So far so good. For the summer I´ve ordered Anessa milk and Anessa gel. I´m very excited about them!
Still trying to find my new everyday sunscreen post Purito AND Keep Cool. I have the Canmake mermaid #1, but I want to find something in a bigger bottle. I’ll keep checking your videos for more sunscreen options since we have the same skin concerns! Thanks Kelly!
Me watching this video less than an hour since posted, putting on the Anessa mild milk on thinking - Kelly does have the right words to describe how I feel about this one! Hands up to be a lucky one, for once!!
Hi Kelly! I am using the Kose Suncut UV Gel as my everyday sunscreen and for days when I am out in the sun for a long period of time , I use my hard core La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra for sensitive eyes. Both are so good!
well, what sunscreen am I using right now...not a lot because the uv index is zero (in Northern Europe). I've used a tinted moisturizer with spf 20 but that's not really giving me sun protection because I don't apply enough of it. As the uv radiation rises I'll use up my suncreens that were recently tested or under suspicion to not be spf 50+ (you know what they are!)...If I would need to buy sunscreens right now, I'd probably try that mermaid uv clear version or the anessa mild milk. Yesstyle sells the 20ml Anessa for 16€...that's so expensive🙄 It's really good to hear recommendations for oily skin too, because I'm the personal skincare shopper for my boyfriend and he has oilier skin than me😉
Hi, Kelly! Thank you for your recommendations, I've been wanting to try the Canmake sunscreen for a couple months now. I ordered the isehan kiss me mommy uv aqua milk, it's spf 50 and pa ++++, I would like to give it a try and see if it's any good for me and my bf who has very sensitive skin. Also, currently using the purito centella green level sun (I have to finish it, I use it as an indoor sunscreen while working from home) Can't wait for more recs from u!

I am currently rotating Krave Beauty's The Beet Shield and Bioré's Aqua Rich UV Watery Essence. Keep Cool's Bamboo Sun Essence here and there to use it up.
Looks like the Anessa is perfect for hot summer days and/or on the beach as it is water resistant and has some mattifying effect. I wish it was more affordable. $40 is a lot for a 60ml tube, though many inferior American sunscreens are just as expensive (eltaMD, Supergoop etc.)
I've been using DRMTLY untinted sunscreen and I'm very much not impressed despite rave reviews from others. It feels like (and smells!) like clay, weirdly enough. Will definitely be trying the clear Canmake soon.
Oh, so it's called Hybrid! Thanks for the enlightenment 😁💛 I am currently using Cancer Council Sensitive. It's my go-to sunscreen when my skin is having some reactions. And I am finishing up my Skin Aqua Tone up (the green one). I am not enjoying the skin aqua tho but I do not want to waste it so I am still using it just for reapplication in the afternoon.
I am currently using A'pieu's everyday sun cream.. it's OK to apply, and it's fruity scent doesn't bother me but my skin seems a bit congested a couple of weeks in. Luckily it's a small 30ml tube, will move on after it finishes.
I actually just ordered the clear canmake and the mild anessa one so I’m glad to hear you talking about them 😊 currently finishing up my Krave Beet Shield and my neogen sunscreen(:
Definitely will purchase the Canmake after I empty the Keep Cool since the Anessa is pretty pricey as well on where I live at, thak you Kelly, been looking forward for this video 🤗
I'm using the Avene mineral sunscreen spf 50 and the colorescience spf 50 which are both pure physical and hence have a white cast but chemical ones irritate my skin. Even the purito one made my skin sting a lot around my eyes. I quite like Shiseido as a brand and liked the Senka uv essence. How long to sunscreens last in terms of having multiple? Im worried about having a variety and them expiring if I do not use them up in time.... Asian sunscreens don't seem to include an expiration date like western ones do

Kelly you’re glowing today 😌 I love Canmake Mermaid uv gel ! Thanks for the review... I take your reviews into consideration before purchasing ANY SKINCARE! Thanks for introducing me to the FAB oat toner, Laneige cream skin toner, and Stratia liquid gold!! My skin is thanking you ❤️❤️
I'm currently using the Biore UV watery essence! I was reluctant to try it since I'm mostly avoiding fragrance. But my skin has no issue with it and it has become one of my favorite sunscreens!
Thank you very much ❤ I just wondering is this sunscreens not greasy especially I'm oliy skin 👀?
I have combination skin and the Canmake Clear version is not greasy at all. For me it can be a bit drying in winter if I don’t put moisturiser underneath. It’s very lightweight and watery, however, as Kelly said, it is very shiny and shimmery and won’t control your oils.
@@marconemeth9683 thank you so much
Hi Kelly. What is your everyday choice then for sunscreen?
I've been using the canmake clear for everyday!
I’m inside all the time but using Nivea Sun Super Water Gel every day, based on your recommendation, and I LOVE it! 🥰
Loving all of your videos! Are you able to recommend a good sunscreen that’s alcohol, essential oil, and fragrance free that’s also water resistant?
Love your videos! The sunscreen I’m using at the moment is the ultra Violette lean screen (amazing Australian brand you should try)💖
I have heard a lot of great things about that brand!
I've been wanting to try the Canmake for as long as I can remember.
I'm currently using the Heliocare advanced gel spf 50 - it is an elegant formulation too, but much more easily accessible in my area.
I've never won a giveaway, but let's see😊
I've heard of this heliocare so many times is it European by any chance?
@@assimpleasgravity yes, it's a Spanish company.
I’m currently using up my keep cool because it’s winter where I am and I didn’t want to waste it, but have recently got the black girl sunscreen kids spf, can’t wait to try it :)
So excited to try some of these out!! Could you maybe make a dedicated video to your favorite sweat/water proof sunscreens? Also, what’s your favorite body sunscreens?
She did do a video on this. Check her list of all videos
I'm using the Bare Republic Mineral Sunscreen Gel Lotion. Thank you for your awesome information! You have such a soothing voice and are super informative, I always love watching your videos!
I'm currently finishing my Skin1004 Suncream and Skin Aqua Moisture Milk SPF 50! And is using my Purito Green Level and Comfy Water Block for my neck, hands and reapply when I'm indoors!
Bioderma has sunscreens that have no alcohol, and also Laroche posey anthelios anti shine sunscreen is alcohol and fragrance free
Currently using the hyggee sun moisturiser as I'm trying to use up the sunscreens that failed their spf test during winter!
What do you think of some of those chemical filters supposedly getting in the bloodstream and being bad for you?
i have the canmake and i only use it on days i want the best skin because it's so tiny 😭 on other days i am using up the purito comfy water indoors only and the skin & lab one (good but i hate the fragrance). all these were removed from yesstyle tho so i wonder what's up with that. love your videos!!!!
I'm currently finishing up the Keep Cool sun essence, but will purchase the Cannmake Clear one soon
I'm finishing off the Klairs one and then going to open up the biore that I've heard so much about. Fingers crossed that it works out well!
I'm currently using the biore uv watery essence, it's affordable, leaves no white cast and is great on my oily skin
It's also been tested as over SPF 50!
Currently can’t wait to finish using Biore UV aqua rich watery essence as my eyes got stung pretty badly with the alcohol. Thanks for recommending alcohol free options!
Thanks for this video! I use the black girl sunscreen almost done. Really wanted to try a Korean sunscreen so I ordered the Missha All around safe block essence sun! Love your channel and the content you provide! Very thorough! 😊😊
I’ve mostly been using the Paula’s Choice super light wrinkle defense tinted sunscreen. Also the Biore UV kids milk that was discontinued. I’m so sad because it was my favorite!!
I’m using the frudia sunscreen it’s a good price but I need to up my collection. I just started using sunscreen after watching this channel. I never realized how important sunscreen is.
Thanks for this video, Kelly! I'm currently using a tinted botanical sunscreen from a brand called Australian Gold. But, I recently ordered the clear version of the Canmake Mermaid Skin UV Gel and I'm very excited to try it!
I am currently rotating Krave Beauty's The Beet Shield and Bioré's Aqua Rich UV Watery Essence. Keep Cool's Bamboo Sun Essence here and there to use it up.
I am currently using the Eunyul Daily care light sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++. I got it for $23 and it contains 290ml or
Currently, I'm using La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Dry Touch SPF50+ Sunscreen For Oily Skin. It gives me a matte finish and very high protection. :)
Please do a lip sunscreen video. I need one that is deeply hydrating, nourishing but with no white cast. Any recommendations?
I've been using DRMTLY untinted sunscreen and I'm very much not impressed despite rave reviews from others. It feels like (and smells!) like clay, weirdly enough. Will definitely be trying the clear Canmake soon.
I'm currently using the make prem uv defense me sun fluid but it's kinda drying for my skin
I just started using the LRP Anthelios 50 Mineral Tinted Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid, quite the mouthful!
Hi Kelly I’m current using the Revision Illimi shade and Supergoop Cc cream! I love both!!!
Asian sunscreens don't seem to include an expiration date like western ones do
Currently I'm using the Aloe Soothing Sun Cream from Cosrx, and the Sunprise Mild Airy Finish from Etude house.
Currently using Heliocare 360 tinted sunscreen and Eucerin sunscreen. Love them both.
Hi Kelly! I am using BeautyCounter's tinted sunscreen or Cerave's hydrating tinted sunscreen but I realized that I am not using any on my neck!
i'm actually using the Canmake mermaid gel UV in clear and I really like it!! i find it quite nourishing and gentle for my dry skin so it's been a good experience. it's been on my list to try for a while but i've been distracted by so many korean sunscreens lol. i really like it but as you mentioned earlier, it's quite small for the price point.
How long do sunscreens last for? Can i use one from last summer?
are all of these cruelty free as well??
I'm still finishing my keep cool essence sunscreen, because I don't want to throw it away, but my next one is the Canmake clear version.
