I feel that feet are neglected in a lot of sport, specifically weight lifting. Our feet are where we produce and transfer force on almost every exercise. Great video, very informative! :)
+Pro Chiropractic I have knee pain ( both knees) the right one in particular hurts when I walk up stairs and feels ready to give out.I had injuries while in the service, VA tells me it's arthritis. I would like a second opinion. What type of Doctor or specialist should I see?
That should be at the discretion of the treating chiropractor. There are many alternate mobilizations that could be more comfortable for the arthritic patient.
Do you have a video with one of your patients using the tennis balls, and if so where can I find it? Last will most insurance cover going to a chiropractor
I injured my ankle three years ago. It pops like crazy now (a small lump has developed on the side of the joint) and I'm developing a bunion on that foot. Would lower extremity adjustment help this and halt the bunion development. So far it is not painful but the ankle is.
These extra-spinal or extremity adjustments are part of a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) designate. Look for that in a qualified person near you! DrJ
Very good video on lower extremity adjusting. I am having a bit of trouble discerning the line of drive you utilized on the Tibial head adjustment. Did you drive down the length of the tibia or is it more of a P to A movement? Thank you.
I had no idea this could be done until recently with my chiro.. Sure wished I would have done this when I was training for a half marathon..and perhaps half my life with my feet, ankle, and knee issues
Just found you, great refresh to my chiropractic side of hobby-watching. I would want to ask you, what are the re-steps after an adjustment, because I heard from one chiropractor, that you have to re-learn to walk again. I have anterior pelvic tilt, pain in the hips and tender tendons on the back side of my legs. Low back pain and neck/trap pain/tenderness. This gets noticeably uncomfortable when walking for a bit longer. Than I find relief in hitting my hips/ass with my closed fists. Actually I have no access to chiropractor, and have never been on any adjustment. What can I do? Thank you great man!!P.S.: Few months ago I got struck with accute lumbago(after some slight but growing pain in my low back, which started when I raised my legs on 90degree angle on dip bars and holded, called L-sit)in my low back virtobrate, and after that, man, in basic movements this virtobrate is MOVING and little cracking all the time! And I have to mention, I am a bit addicted to twisting motions in my back when it all goes to edge and it all cracks. I would say I do it in a vision of relief, what is maybe momentarily helpful for the muscles to loose them. Hehe, so this is my quick overview and describtion of my body. Thank you for listening.
Vibration training can be wonderful post-adjustment to allow you body to adapt. Walking on a natural surface is also quite good. Thank you for watching!
I got horrible Charlie horses in my toes and arch of my feet, also the slightest chill on my feet numbness pain and color changes on my toes. Do you think it's chiropractic related?
this doctor is so through with his patients. i've been to one doctor where i'm telling him what's bothering me and he just ignores me, tells me to lay down and just go through a quick a painful adjustment. like wham baam good bye. I stopped going to that chiropractor.
my feet and ankles do 2 different things, 1 moves all over the place while doing cardio and the other goes another direction has no dorsiflexion, i mentioned this to my chiropractor but he didn't adjust them.
Usually related to poor foot biomechanics on the side of pain, but could be other things causing as well. For relief, focus your energy on releasing the TFL muscle. This is a great topic for a video. Stay tuned!
of course this could be a sign of misalignment. However, it could also be a sign of another more serious condition. I would seek out a qualified practitioner in your area.
I wish I lived closer to get adjusted , I talked to my chiropractor about problems with my toes & she didn't even look at them, she just blamed it on my diet.
This is one of my favourite RUclips vids. Largely because of how fluent, simplistic and efficient you make the entire process seem
Thank you :)

Thank you for your feedback.
i cant belive Lex Lutor became a chiropractor 😱😱

+P.J. Mccahill a certified chiropractic sports physician (CCSP)
😂😂😂
I flat out cannot survive without having my feet adjusted regularly. Very few things are better than a chiropractic adjustment.
What does the foot adjustment feel like?
Wow, he really knows his stuff.
habojspade stay in school and learn i would say
I didn't know Lex Luthor was a chiropractor
Amira Strawte
shit I was I was close enough to have him work on me, he seems like a genius but now for good, not evil.
LOL
How do I look for a chiropractor that does this? Most of them only do the spine and nerve..
I need this..
Find a CCEP certified chiro!
excellent demonstration thnx
Thank you! DrJ
Hi great video . Would you recommend it for swollen ankle .
This depends on what is causing the swelling. Certainly that should be evaluated by a sports chiropractor!
Loved the explanation and testing before and after. I need this guy to just come stay with me for a week.
Thank you! is it sunny there?
Good information. never knew about the lower adjustments. Always knew about back adjustments. thanks.
You are welcome. Chiropractic adjustments benefit so much more than only the spine!!
awesome stuff doc
Thank you so much Dr. for your great help.I have to change my shoes now.
You are very welcome!
Dr.,
should these adjustments be made on mod/severe arthritis patients who have similar ankle pain?
That should be at the discretion of the treating chiropractor. There are many alternate mobilizations that could be more comfortable for the arthritic patient.
I definitely need something like this. My feet have been super messed up since I went through basic training. I have flat feet lol
You are so welcome!
Nice video. But what does she have to do to prevent this to happen again for exemple?
This is for another video! A whole bunch of self MFR and foot control exercises!
What do you think was the cause for her distortion? Is Functional Hallux Limitus most likely caused by a valgus during squats or gait? Great video btw
In this case, the FHL.
Brilliant. Thanks Doc.
You bet! Thanks for following!
Do you have a video with one of your patients using the tennis balls, and if so where can I find it? Last will most insurance cover going to a chiropractor
We don't have that video, and YES most will cover chiropractic!
Doc, is it necessary to understanding the anatomy of the lower extremities first before study chiropractic? Thx
+Marcell Claudio no... you don't need to understand math to become a math professor.. duh
Absolutely!
Could I get a ankle adjustment with a metal plate in my ang
That depends. You should be properly evaluated first.
Very interesting!
Thanks
Cool videos! They are all great
How long does it take to become a Chiropractor?

Get yourself a good sports chiro!
@@prochiropractic Know anyone in London UK?
Yes, actually! Dr Nick Metcalfe. He is wonderful

Proper biomechanics, supported by these types of manipulations should help, and would work best when paired with active rehab.
VERY IMPRESSIVE WORK I WUD SAY .. . THANK U VERY MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WITH US THANK U VERY MUCH
So nice of you
Great video Dr. Wilhelm! Its extremely important to adjust the parts of our body that are not aligned right. Thanks for sharing!
+Rapid Release Technology Thank for posting and following!
Great job doc
thank you!
Can the toe technique showed be applied to plantar fasciitis patient ?
Yes, this is effective in Plantar Fasciitis as part of a larger treatment plan.
Can any chiropractor do these adjustments on ankles and knees or does it need to be someone who specializes on it?
These extra-spinal or extremity adjustments are part of a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) designate. Look for that in a qualified person near you! DrJ
Very good video on lower extremity adjusting. I am having a bit of trouble discerning the line of drive you utilized on the Tibial head adjustment. Did you drive down the length of the tibia or is it more of a P to A movement? Thank you.
Great Question! The move is P to A, with tension built from the forearm contact point on the tibia, as well as the hands behind. Dr Jon.
Thought so, but wasn't sure. So your documentation would be correction of a posterior positioning of the proximal Tibia?
Posterior Malposition or Hyperextension Malposition
Have you ever worked on someone who has severe plantar fasciitis and the treatments worked to relieve pain?
Yes, many times! Please view some of our other videos for ideas!
Hi there, when I walk my ankle clicks on every single step - Any ideas on whether I should consult a chiropodist or Physio ?
I recommend consulting with a certified sports chiropractor (CCSP). Best wishes!
Any suggestions for flat feet , knee and lower back pain?
Many recommendations, but each case is unique. Find a certified sports chiropractor to evaluate and manage your complaints!
For those who have flat feet, would it be better to see a podiatrist or a chiropractor ? I know flat feet cause many problems in the future.
I would see a certified sports chiropractor, particularly with advanced training in foot, gait and orthotics.
I have been experiencing second toe ball of foot pain, visited 3 podriatrist, orthodics don't help either. Would this help out to easy the pain?
Quite possibly! Get ahold of us or a certified sports chiro near you!

+Pro Chiropractic - could foot and ankle adjustments provide some relief for a ballet dancer's bunions?
Yes, and there are other treatment that we offer that could help as well! Check out our taping videos and our Graston technique videos.
My ankle cracks every time I wal up stairs xD
Find a sports chiro!
Where were you taught that analysis? -Palmer student
This is part of the CCEP analysis. Thanks for the inquiry!
I got horrible Charlie horses in my toes and arch of my feet, also the slightest chill on my feet numbness pain and color changes on my toes. Do you think it's chiropractic related?
Sounds like more of a systemic condition. Might be best to consult a rheumatologist.
Do you mind me asking where you went to school for chiropractic and how you obtained your ccsp? Just curious and doing some research.
Thanks you.
I graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St Louis, Missouri. For info on the CCSP Certificate, please visit www.ACBSP.com

any such thing as adjusting ankle
+puhdussyrampage2010 Yes, of course, there are several ankle adjustments. A great idea for a follow up video. Thanks for posting!
Yes, there are adjustments for the talus, calcaneus, and sub talar joints, as well as for the tibia and fibula.
I have a slight limp when I walk I feel like one side is unequal to the other could this mean I need an adjustment somewhere on my legs or hip?
of course this could be a sign of misalignment. However, it could also be a sign of another more serious condition. I would seek out a qualified practitioner in your area.
I wish I lived closer to get adjusted , I talked to my chiropractor about problems with my toes & she didn't even look at them, she just blamed it on my diet.
That is very unfortunate Michael. I would look for a chiropractor with certificates of additional qualification in extremity adjustments near to you.
Mine looked really confused too. Wish I was still in Bozeman.
Us too! Thanks for watching
Dam very cool Dr. !
Hi doctor
What sort of shoes would you recommend for Halux limitus?
Thanks
Something with a wide toe box. There are many new good bands out there. Look for something actually shaped like your feet!
Wide toe box.
I wanna go to a chiropractor but I wanna make sure the place I'm going to is trust worthy, and well known places( like names ) that I could look up?
Search for a certified sports chiropractor!!
Oh wow!
Wow!
I do this to my father every few weeks, it's just cracking his feet.
Specific chiropractic manipulative therapy (CMT) is SO much more than just "cracking"! :)
Any treatment for flat feet
yes, both from exercise, manual therapy, and custom foot orthotics.
I'm almost positive the shoes she's wearing plays a big part.
Yes! footwear is important, and genetics and biomechanics also are important variables.
Anyone you recommend on Oahu? I'm looking for extremities adjustments
Sorry, no one I know there
nice...
💯💯💯
Many thanks
Wow a chiropractor who is cool with crossfit. I was reprimanded by my chiro for going to CF. "Dont push anything overhead....ever!"
That is silly. We are here and dedicated to helping athletes achieve! 🙌🏼
Nice
Thank you!
I know my feet need this exact treatment, but will never happen
Maybe you can find a sports chiro near you :)
