Picked it up the minute I saw it on your Friday deal alert, you cannot get anything better for the money, I keep it in my truck everywhere I go and am very impressed with it's range and magnification is such a small package. Thanks for always keeping us alerted to these deals

I got the black one. It has very narrow field of view and a small screen that is too brighf in the night and it is not possible to look around immediately after watching the screen, even in the lowest brightness (your eyes will need to adjust first). But the overall image quality is very good and if your target is 30+ meters in open plains (no trees) it will work well. Last night I was watching two boars for 30 minutes from my balcony. It was not trivial to locate them, due to narrow view, despite them being quite noisy. But overall I'm glad I bought it, it worked fine!
i got the black one and is actually very good. The only downside is that has a screen instead of a viewfinder, that gives away yout position because iluminates your face.

Bought them both since I got free returns with Prime. Now the issue is, I love them both, and cannot decide which one to return. LOL.
From my limited test, with naked eyes, the black seems to be clearer and does seem to reach further. However, when porting the videos out to the computer, the black one seems to have less resolution and more noise on the image. The camo got clearer graphic but it has a hint of purple. At about 50 yards, the camo can identify license plate numbers, and you can see the face of the people. The black one is brighter in the same situation, you can see it's a human, but the face has more blur (not the zoom, I've adjusted both to focus correctly).
As for hunting application, I think the black would be easier for eyes because you don't have to hold it against your eye all the time, and you can use both eyes. This way you don't get that blind effect when you are watching a bright image with one eye and that eye will take longer to adjust for the darkness. However, this black one might create more light reflection from your face.
Can you give review on how it works for watching night skies?
@@bineshkapali don't have them anymore. They are not as good as the Sightmark I'm using now.
Wish they all came with a pic rail. Seems like a great spot to mount an Arisaka IR light. Would be curious to see how they do with a digital monocular.

I purchased it around Christmas time and it was $85! It has the thread mount so it can be mounted on a USGI Night Vision mount.

@@michaelbell1608 The black one. The controls will be sideways but you can adjust them then mount to your helmet mount. You can also mount it to the J-arm mount as well.

I bought the black model some where else . It must have been a early generation . Only has 3 buttons on top . Works good . NOTE ; I wear glasses to see small things and read . In order to view the screen I must have my glasses on which puts me in a tough spot if I am in survival mode .
the camo version is advertised at more then 4X the range of the black one. 1640' vs 400' did you try it with the lens cover off?
I've bought half a dozen digital NV scopes. I've had best luck with The Equinox II and 12 Survivors 5x50. It had to have recording and decent magnification for me.
33$ on aliexpress, exact same thing, just not the brand... ALWAYS look up the image on aliexpress to see if the sell isn't a dropshipper

Can you see the IR light? A lot of them you see the purple light from the IR big time?
If you aim it at the sky, does it intensify the stars? Can you see the Milky Way with it?

150yds bro, it can definitely see the milky way. Maybe not all of it, but the first 60 maybe 70 yds of it will be visible. Good lookin out @P love, almost forgot

The Camo version captures video in Full HD 1080p whereas the black version only captures video in HD 960p

so, watching your video I noticed that the animals seemed to notice when you looked in their direction. can you/ animals see when that thing is ON? wouldn't that "blow your cover"

Not this , for 50.00 is nice to see in dark has threaded hole on bottom so is possibly to mount to picatiny rail but would put it pretty high would have to mount your scope higher to match height but should work to bout 80 yards it seems to me

I'm looking for a thermal imaging scope for my crossbow. Leupold used to sell the LTO tracker for around $699. It could have easily been mounted up with my red dot for the perfect combo. Then the prices ski rocketed within a week's time. Now they don't even offer them. They offer a Gen 2, for $1300-$1700. That's crazy. So now I'm looking for a budget friendly thermal to mount on my crossbow. Any suggestions?
LTO was never intended to be mounted to a firearm. Warranty is voided if they see you did as it states that. It’s not curation resistant

Yes, if they have digital or traditional night vision. Unfortunately that is nature of IR. The only way to go complete stealth is Thermal. Even with thermal you can be seen with the naked eye or IR because of the white light projected back at the eye through the view finder. Now, if you are in an environment with some ambient light. You can cover your IR light with tape, a glove, etc.....and you are stealth provided you have enough light for positive ID. If you do not have Night Vision I can not recommend this enough. I have lots of night vision and I use this just about every night. 👍@@plove9136

It can be mounted to an ar. you just need a mount that'll work with a go-pro or such, tripod mount. I have a go-pro mount that goes on the pic rail, It's what I use for NV cam on my ar.
