The Scottish Gallery is delighted to present Patricia Shone’s 25 Years of Making, whose outstanding studio practice is inspired by the landscape of the Isle of Skye. Her work was recently acquired by the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

I've been digging up clay from a field behind my house and processed a bucket or two. I have no idea what I'm doing or how it will turn out, but I'm going to try working with it like that. It was winter solstice yesterday and we just got the power back on after four days. Think I'll try an oil lamp and open it up from the inside like you do. So, so beautiful. Thank you youtube for a great recommendation.
