I tre tenori piu' popolari nel mondo a livello mediatico sono stati Caruso Gigli e Pavarotti, anche se Bjorling Gigli e Caruso sono stati di gran lunga migliori di Pavarotti.

Bjorling has the tones of both Caruso,and Pavarotti,depending on the particular Opera.But he is a great so was Lanza,and Domingo which I had the honor and pleasure of meeting in 1981,while belonging to the Metropolitan Opera Guild.Since I too am a tenor,I am very partial to tenors also.my coach,Carl S.Olsen told me I am a lyric tenor.But I have some of spinto,too.Mr.Olsen now retired from singing went into the coaching to help singers reach their full potential.God bless.

I dont think Correli ever recorded the entire role of the Duke, but I have...on you tube as a matter of fact heard him sing this aria. Stunning yes. Powerful and masculine yes. But I like the snake-charmer quality of Bjorling's tac on the role. Happy listening!
