@@the_daniel_life yes. That is how i discovered it exists. But it seemed that probably my software version is not up to date as the version shown here on the video. Im guessing that is the problem. Thanks!

Hello, it depends on the settings you are using. If the camera is set to „record“ at default, it will automatically start to record a video, once you switch it on. Daniel

Would you be able to tell me how to (1) delete the video files on the M20, (2) transfer the files onto the PC and (3) explain the purpose of bluetooth (or Wifi?) - do I connect to my home WIFI router or do I connect to my PC via bluetooth, and is this for updating the Version of the software of for uploading the video files to PC. Well, guess that's a lot to reply to. Maybe you can point me to another video with such information? Thanks.

You need to change to framerate (fps) to 25, 30, 50 or 60fps

(in playback )and on image you want to delete hold down the down button and delete options will pop up.
how to removed time and date
Settings - Time&Date
Does the back screen turn off when you start recording?
If you have enabled this, that the screen will turn off it will do so, to save some battery.
How do i know if its fully charged?

I'm glad i bought quite a few action cams xD cheap 60+ bucks knockoffs, yi discovery, yi lite, yi 4k, yi (classic). For yet only the yi 4k and lite are useable, i just received a sjcam m20 (in black even if i bought it in blue xD) and well it's really really shitty quality.. glad i have the yi cameras x) i'll sell all the other ones as they're crap

Hey why my video looks si grainy even in 2k??
Because of the small sensor of this camera. It‘s not made for low light shots. During daylight conditions you shoud not have encountered any problems
