I was never insecure about my bodyweight or how I looked, I was just a normal kid, wanting to play with all the other kids. But idk how those things changed when my so-called "friends" started "joking" around regarding my weight, which they did, very often. It even reached the point when I starved myself, skipped meals and lied to my mom that I have eaten a bunch at school and I was full when I didn't even finish half of my lunchbox. I was never insecure about my bodyweight or how I looked, I was just a normal kid, wanting to play with all the other kids. But idk how those things changed when my so-called "friends" started "joking" around regarding my weight, which they did, very often. It even reached the point when I starved myself, skipped meals and lied to my mom that I have eaten a bunch at school and I was full when I didn't even finish half of my lunchbox. I loved Alesia's performance of this song on the VMAs. Besides sounding really good as she always does, she also showed that you don't need to be dressed really fancy or wear makeup to be beautiful. Not many artists out there would take off their makeup and wear something not very fancy on stage, but Alessia did. This is one of the reasons I love her so much. She's always spreading positive vibes and helps so many people realize how important and beautiful they are.
