Interesting video. I'd recommend working on being extra clear when speaking on recordings as I was struggling to follow some of it. Keep up the videos.
+Sardi Pax I do have a stutter so editing I usually have to try edit it out which might cause sound issues. I do try and get the best take before putting it in but sometimes the day I edit is not the best day for my speech. For the sound I think I can safely turn the volume up a bit more, I just dont want to upload a video and blast people's ears out. Still have to work out the kinks unfortunately :)
+toothpick993 What I do is watch my video and write a script, then record the voice over and edit it in where all of the parts belong. If a script isn't really needed I watch the video and keep certain things in mind- that's what I did in my Ferrofluid video. Hopefully this helps if at all.
@@toothpick993 I could understand you fine
Dextrin is made from starch after put it in oven ?
Nice video, can you taste the dextrin and corn starch and tell me if there are any differences in taste if you can? I wanna know if you can tell if your cornstarch has converted itself in to dextrin or not.
Quite late but dextrin tastes like the essence of bread it's hard to explain
@@KClO3 bout time mate. I've been waiting for your response this whole time and now I can finally be sure if I've made dextrin or not.
Now to go look for it 🤔🤔
Sir please make a video about cracker fuse making, by using potassium nitrate, sulpher, coal and dextrin.
is it safe to bake this stuff in the oven your going to use for cooking your food or can a smaller toaster oven work?
It will work , and dextrine isn't dangerous for human health like sulfur so you can bake it on your oven
I know that this comment is 4 years old but dextrin is safe and it is added to food
This is super helpful. I will have to try mixing it with some ZincSulfur.
Did you try that out? How did it go?
@@mrhappyface4181 The ZnS flash powder was too much for the dextrin binding, it looked awesome!
You're amazing!
What is the liquid you added at the end and why did you add it?
water
Added to get it to a workable texture that can be pushed through a screen, aka granulating it.
does dextrin expire?
Late, but no. As long as you keep it away from moisture, it's good
Can i use potato starch?
thank you.
+Gristle Von Raben No worries champ
Are you south african?
great vidz!
Thank you!
Why not just use super glue

there is not a single word clearly pronounced. terrible.
He has a speech impediment This is what he could manage this time Honestly, I say well done
I hope others aren't so judgemental with you as you are with others.
@@guerillagrace I don't get why some people are so judgemental and ignorant. Yes well done to him for doing the video.
That is corn flour. You are not making dextrin...
Lens, I wondered about that, too.
He is converting the starch in the corn flour to dextrin, via the long dry roasting of the corn flour/corn starch
Outside of North America corn starch is called "corn flour" even though it's not.
Blah blah blah slur slur slur
That's not nice

an iodine test is the quickest way
@@colspyro how do I make this test
@@stanford1546
Put a few drops of iodine solution on a little of your dextrin. If it turns a blue black colour that indicates starch is present. If it remains yellow there is no starch present.
