I use 1 cup of herbs to 1 cup of salt and put them in my dehydrator to dry. 95 degrees for 24 hours. I’m new to this. I do not have a garden, we live in the Arizona desert. I have watched quite a few videos. So many different measurments of herbs to salt. The 1 cup to 1 cup seemed easy. I used Redmond salt.

Just make sure that there is more salt because it acts as a preservation. If you don't have the enough salt the herbs will go bad.
Putting them in your dehydrator is a great idea!

Won't grinding sal damage the blades? Please let me know?

I haven’t had any issues with damage, and I grind my herb salt in a food processor. I have been using making this recipe for years with the same food processsor and no problem.
